I love this stuff! It makes my hair soft and SHINY! Not greasy but just nice and fluffy with a healthy sheen. I use it when my hair is mostly dry. I spray it all over my hair and then I comb my hair for a very long time to make sure it really gets in there otherwise my hair will get crunchy which I hate. I do wish this was much cheaper though. I think I paid $17 for a 4oz bottle! and even though I have fairly short hair I'm already a quarter way through the bottle in only one week of use. Boo!

Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser
rated 4 of 5

I picked out this cleanser because I wanted a fragrance free face wash that foamed but did not have any sulfates. I got my bottle in July and there is still a good amount left even though I use it 2-3 times a day. This stuff foams so well, you really just need the teeny-tiniest amount! I was previously using Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel and one bottle of that lasts two months. In the long run even though the LRP is twice as expensive since one bottle lasts at least six months it is definitely worth the price! Overall I am very satisfied with this product. My skin is very, very sensitive and this cleanser does not break me out or give me any types of rashes. That is pretty much all I can ask for in a cleanser! The only thing that I don't like is that it is quite drying and my skin gets super oily a couple hours after I wash my face. I tried a sample of LRP's Effaclair M mattifying moisturizer though and that seemed to help some with the oiliness.

My mom gave me this spray because she doesn't use flat/curling irons. I don't like it at all. It made my hair very crunchy and dry.

Lip Treatments -Jouer - Lip Enhancer - Conditioning Lip Treatment

I also got this in a Birchbox. I don't like it at all for my lips..it feels like wax and tastes really gross. But it works great as a cuticle moisturizer! I prefer it over my Burts Bees cuticle cream and Solar Oil. But it is super expensive so I wouldn't buy it.

Lip Treatments -Jack Black - Intense Therapy Lip Balm spf 25
rated 5 of 5

I love this lip balm. I put off buying it because it's really, really expensive...But I just thought about how many drug store lip balms I've been through that either don't work at all, give me a rash, or make my lips even drier so I decided to go for it. I put it on at night and sometimes during the day and my lips stay so nice and soft! I don't really like the packaging it gets kinda gross after a while..but I can't think of another way to package it so yeah. It is minty but not overly so. I am not a fan of mint in general but this is fine for me. Highly recommended!

Nails -Zoya - Remove +
rated 4 of 5
Lizziex3 8/8/2011 5:23:00 PM

I will admit I bought Remove+ solely for the Big Flipper pump bottle. It is unarguably the best solvent pump bottle I have ever used. At first I could not stand the awful floral smell of the Remove+..but by the time the bottle was empty I had gotten used to it. However, I still prefer regular acetone with glycerine and water added to mimic Remove+ 's formula. BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the Big Flipper pump bottle even if you just pour the acetone out and refill it with regular acetone or non-acetone remover.

Top/Base Coats -Unlisted Brand - Nail Magic Base Coat Therapy
rated 5 of 5
Lizziex3 8/8/2011 5:20:00 PM

This is the best base coat I've ever used. It is the formaldehyde free version of the original Nail Magic and it works way better. It also actually keeps my polish on. My nails are healthy and I haven't had a break in months..I actually just cut most of the length off the other day because it was getting too hard to type!

Top/Base Coats -Essie - Good to Go! The Fastest Drying Top Coat
rated 5 of 5
Lizziex3 8/8/2011 5:18:00 PM

WORKS WITH ZOYA!!! I have forever hated Zoya polishes because they would chip immediately after they finished drying..but now I can finally wear all the polishes I have from their numerous promos because Essie Good to Go keeps them on my nails! This sounds like a weird commercial. Overall this is my new favorite top coat and I will continue to buy it.

Moisturizers -Mario Badescu - Aloe Moisturizer SPF 15
rated 4 of 5
Lizziex3 3/2/2011 8:08:00 PM

I first started out using this moisturizer all over my face in the morning and then just around my mouth at night because I use Retin-A on the rest of my face. My mouth area has been very, very dry for the past year but it seems that most of the products I use make my perioral dermatitis flare up. Anyway - Used it all over my face in the morning and a couple hours later WOW a thick layer of oil formed on my forehead. So I now put it just on my mouth area morning and night. It has helped significantly with the flakiness around my mouth area! The formula is oil free which is essential for perioral dermatitis. It doesn't have the shortest ingredient list though and I have no idea what most of them actually are.. The lotion is pretty thick and a bit hard to spread around your face. It doesn't absorb very quickly either. I do wish it was a bit lighter! It has no sent. It has not broken me out at all, just made my forehead oily. It is a bit pricey.. More than I would normally spend on a moisturizer! I LOVE the packaging! It is so easy to get just the right amount out and so far the nozzle has not clogged I might buy this again but I want to try out Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel first. If I don't like the gel better I will get this one again because so far it's been the only moisturizer that has helped my skin and not broken me out.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverPure Moisture Shampoo
rated 3 of 5
Lizziex3 3/2/2011 7:34:00 PM

I like this shampoo because it doesn't fade my color! AT ALL! So I first decided I wanted to dye my hair to level 2 neutral for a soft black/brown back in November. I dyed it and the shampoo I was using then (Lush shampoo puck) faded it back to blond almost immediately. I dyed it again the same color but have been using this shampoo and after several weeks my color has not faded at all! So Everpure is nice because of this. But I have some complaints: 1. It doesn't lather well especially compared to the Lush shampoo puck (which is made entirely of sodium laureth sulfate so that is understandable). Its hard to spread throughout my thick hair and it doesn't feel like its getting through to every strand if that makes sense. 2. i'm pretty sure it is this product that has caused my scalp to be itchy and irritated. I thought it might be the new Aveeno conditioner I bought but after using my regular Rusk Calming conditioner its still itchy and i have some small red pimples around my hairline now as well. 3. This is probably the most drying shampoo i've ever used. It leaves my hair puffy, frizzy, and straw-like. Definitely would not repurchase; I am sure there are better more moisturizing products out there that will keep my color from fading!

Polishes -China Glaze - For Audrey
rated 5 of 5
Lizziex3 1/26/2011 6:53:00 PM

This color is really beautiful and looks great any time of year. It is a bit thick but looks great with just two coats. It looks great as a base for konad or as a stamping color and also under glitter tcs.

Polishes -China Glaze - Something Sweet - Up and Away Collection
rated 5 of 5
Lizziex3 1/26/2011 6:50:00 PM

This is my favorite pink and one of my top ten favorite polishes. It works so well with my skin tone, and is pastel without looking stark and bold. The formula is great! It is a bit thicker but goes on so smoothly and perfectly with just two coats. It looks great under glitter tcs and as a base for konad as well.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat
rated 2 of 5
Lizziex3 1/26/2011 6:47:00 PM

I can't get past the smell...it is so strong it gives me a headache. I also hate the bottle shape, its hard to get the product out once it starts to thicken (which happens very quickly)..the brush is just too short, especially compared to my favorite TC Poshe Super Fast. It does dry polish quickly though and I don't have any wear problems with it. I also wish they would reformulate and stop putting toluene in it because not only does that prevent it from working with some B3F polishes, it is harmful to put on your nails!

Polishes -Revlon - Matte Suede - Powder Puff
rated 4 of 5
Lizziex3 1/14/2011 6:20:00 PM

I absolutely love Powder Puff! This is a beautiful semi-sheer milk color with just the tiniest hint of shimmer. Its a bit streaky and hard to apply because the formula is very thin and the brush is very soft, so it looks best with 3+ coats. It dries to a satiny finish so I put either a matte finish (Essie Matte About You) or a high-shine finish (Poshe super fast) top coat on. It dries pretty slow though, especially for a matte/suede polish. Wear time is GREAT! And it does not shrink at all as it dries. I really love the color though, its so soft and delicate!

Top/Base Coats -Orly - Bonder Rubberized Basecoat
rated 5 of 5
Lizziex3 1/10/2011 2:43:00 AM

I recently switched from CND Stickey to Orly Bonder because it is cheaper and more readily available and I love it! Its thin, dries quickly and keeps your polish in place! It has not stained my nails or made them peel. I will only use this BC from now on.
