Pressed Powders -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder
rated 5 of 5

I LOVE this product. This has replaced my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, which I didn't even think was possible! This powder has some coverage to it, which I did not expect. It makes my skin look flawless, and keeps my foundation on all day. That being said, I also have dry skin. I don't know how good this is if you have oily skin. But with the coverage, I often get away with skipping foundation and concealer, and just sweeping this across my face. The package is also pretty sturdy, and I like that I can open the other end and there's a mirror. There's also a sponge, but I found it utterly useless. I think the best part about this product is that it's drugstore, so it's relatively inexpensive.

Lipstick -Rimmel - Moisture Renew - Nude Delight
rated 5 of 5
LizLaughandLove 7/11/2012 10:56:00 PM

This is one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. This is such a flattering nude color. I've noticed that a lot of nudes tend to look like foundation smeared on your lips, especially with a tanner skin tone like my own. It's a very smooth, moisturizing lipstick, and the packaging is SO adorable. The shiny, sleek purple is so fun! The best part of it is that this is drugstore, and I believe it costs no more than $5.00. Lovely lipstick; I will definitely repurchase!

Lipstick -MAC - Cut a Caper
rated 5 of 5
LizLaughandLove 7/11/2012 10:52:00 PM

This is an incredibly beautiful lipstick. I'm a fan of nude, light pinky lipsticks but the issue for me is that I have incredibly tan skin, so a lot of lipsticks in that color range look pasty and odd on me. This light pinky peach color is very flattering on my tanner skin tone. It's a very soft, smooth lipstick and the packaging is as sleek and beautiful as every other MAC lipstick. If you like lighter nude/pink lipsticks, this is definitely one to pick up, since it is limited edition. Beautiful lipstick.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lipstick in Rosy Nude
rated 4 of 5
LizLaughandLove 5/31/2012 11:24:00 PM

I adore this lipstick. It's generally one I lean more towards in the fall and winter, because it is a tad bit darker. The Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks are definitely hit and miss for me, but this one is right on the bulls eye for me. It lasts long, and it's very flattering. It's also one of the creamiest lipsticks I've ever used. Some of this lines lipsticks, such as Pink Sugar and Icy Nude go on your lips rough, because the lipstick has these little bumps on it, but Rosy Nude is as smooth as it gets. I think this is a great first time color for those ladies who've never worn dark lipstick before, but want to get used to the change gradually. This is a very wearable color, while being a little darker than your typical nude.

Polishes -OPI - Y'all Come Back Ya Hear?
rated 2 of 5
LizLaughandLove 5/31/2012 11:16:00 PM

Beautiful color....but with this polish comes the need for great patience. It takes me about 5 coats to become entirely opaque! I could stop at 3, but then the tip of my nail where it's naturally white still peaks through, and I don't find that attractive at all. It's a stunning sherbet orange color, but I rarely use it because of the time and energy it takes between coats and to wait for each coat to dry. And maybe I wouldn't be so hard on the polish if it was just a couple dollars at the drugstore, but I don't exactly consider OPI extremely cheap. For $8.00, I think the polish should have a good opacity, not just a pretty color.

Self Tanners -Jergens - Natural Glow - Medium
rated 4 of 5
LizLaughandLove 2/21/2012 9:56:00 PM

I love this product. I use the firming product for medium to tan skin. It doesn't look orange or fake, and it isn't streaky or blotchy as long as you rub it into your skin thoroughly and evenly. I notice a difference after only a couple days. Only use it at night though; it has a smell that isn't absolutely disgusting or anything, but isn't appealing. It also has a lot of shimmer. It'll disappear by morning if you sleep on it, but don't use it in the morning unless you feel like going through your day looking like a sparkly tan Edward Cullen. A normal sized bottle of this (7.5 fl. oz.) lasts for so long! Also, I don't believe it says anywhere that it's safe on the face, but it is. I took the chance one night and applied it to my face, half anticipating a nightmare of breakouts the next morning. It didn't break me out, and it didn't make me look like Snookie either. This is a great product, and I will continue to use it because it works well, and it's drug store so not only is is inexpensive, but it's also easy to access.

Concealers -Garnier - Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller
rated 4 of 5
LizLaughandLove 2/14/2012 7:44:00 PM

This is one of those products that never skip in my daily routine. I don't think that it's strong, and full coverage enough concealer that it stand on it's own though. I put a separate concealer on over it. But not only does this control my dark eye circles and minimize the appearance of them, but it also instantly brightens up my entire face. I like to roll it on and leave it there for a minute before blending it in. My only complain is the cost! I think it's a bit expensive for a drugstore product. I do love it though. If you have and hate your dark eye circles as much as I do, it's worth your money!

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 88 color matte palette
rated 4 of 5
LizLaughandLove 2/14/2012 7:38:00 PM

With this palette, you definitely get your money's worth! There's a wide variety of colors, and for every color you want, there's another shadow nearby that will compliment it well. This is probably best for those who want to start building a makeup collection, because it's a lot of product, for not a huge amount of money. It's great for experimenting! This is my best friend when Halloween, Christmas, St. Patrick's day, and all those other holidays roll around. Of course, considering it's under $20, you can't expect it to be as pigmented as MAC or Urban Decay. There are shades here and there that have horrible pay off, and most of them are a little chalky. As beautiful as they are, the shadows aren't as saturated as you may want them to be. Also, if you don't have a primer/cream base, etc...don't even bother. Without a color/ cream base, or primer, the shadows will go on very sheer, and they won't last very long either. Overall, I really do love this palette! It's inexpensive, and very diverse! I'd recommend this product to everyone and their cat.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer
rated 4 of 5
LizLaughandLove 1/30/2012 7:00:00 PM

I love, love, love, love, LOVE this product. It hides literally anything and everything. Not only is the tube stuffed with product, but a little bit goes an incredibly long way, so it takes almost no product to do your whole face. My only complaint is that it's quite thick, so it's a little bit drying. But somehow, they've made a thick concealer without making it look super cakey. I love this product so much, and when ever I break out, this concealer is what I go to, to fix any problem on my face, small or big. The best part? It's SO inexpensive. It's only $6.00 and I've had my tube for almost a year, and I'm not even half done with it. It's amazing!

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush in Luminoso
rated 5 of 5
LizLaughandLove 1/30/2012 6:54:00 PM

This product is absolutely beautiful. Great pigmentation and a good amount of product. Even the packaging seems pretty sturdy. Just one thing, if you do not like shimmer, you will not like this blush. Like almost all baked blushes, it's full of shimmer. I have nothing else to say, I'd recommend this to pretty much anyone not allergic to shimmer.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
rated 5 of 5
LizLaughandLove 1/30/2012 6:48:00 PM

There isn't much to say about the NAKED palette. The pigmentation is outstanding, the packaging is cute, and the shadows are all soft and saturated. You can do anything from a neutral to a smokey. This is one of those few products that really does live up to its expectations and hype. Wonderful product, It's a staple, and I never want to go without it.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5
LizLaughandLove 1/30/2012 6:44:00 PM

I have nothing more to say than this product is amazing. I used to complain a little about the bottle packaging, but ever since they switched to a tube, I have no complaints! With the tube it's much more sanitary, and you get every last scrap of product, which is important since this isn't exactly the cheapest product on the planet. It lasts all day, and doesn't ever crease on me. I can rely on this product for anything on my lids, for as long as I need it there.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst in Pink Sugar
rated 2 of 5
LizLaughandLove 1/30/2012 6:39:00 PM

This product would be so incredibly pretty...if it actually showed up. It shows up alright if you rub it on your lips like crazy, but it definitely takes more work than it should, and on a swatch it is invisible. But if you love the idea of this color, but were disappointed with the pigmentation, try the new Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters in Creamsicle. It is about 99.5% IDENTICAL. The main difference is that it's incredibly smooth; it has no shimmer or sparkle in it, like Pink Sugar does. Creamsicle is like the prettier twin of Pink Sugar. Pink Sugar is definitely a waste of money though! I find that the Colorburst lipsticks are very hit and miss.

Pressed Powders -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder (ALL)
rated 5 of 5
LizLaughandLove 1/27/2012 12:43:00 AM

I rarely ever write reviews but for this product, i can't not. This is the cheapest, yet best setting powder I have ever owned. I've had the same one since last March and I've been using it every single day since then. I use it in Translucent. After a few months the words on the lid rub off, if you use it a lot like I do. I only hit pan about a month to two months ago, and after that the product started to fall apart. So I crushed it into loose powder, which will last me another month before I have to get a new one. My Stay Matte Powder has been through so much! -The packaging isn't the greatest, but it's a drugstore product so i'm not expecting it to be. -The translucent one does not make you look chalky or pale. It really is like invisible powder. -It's very affordable; $3.00. -It literally lasts a year - even if you use it daily. -It has a scent that not everyone may like. I love the smell, but not everyone likes it when their products have a scent. This is one of my staple items, and one of my favorite makeup items of all time, including drugstore and high end.
