Styling Products -TRESemme - Tres Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray

Best hairspray product I've tried. My bf's sister gave me Snookie hair for Halloween, she did it super high with lot's of volume, needless to say, it was a good night, but my hair was even better, it stay inflated and perfect all night! Only down side if that it has that chemically hairspray smell, definitely don't spray too much in an enclosed area without walking away to breath every once to often. The can is also big, round and bulky, it can be a bit of a bother to hold and spray a style to be set at the same time. Those are the only complaints the. Great product for an amazing price!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
Liv90 8/29/2012 4:05:00 AM
It didn't get a full 5 stars because it does clump a bit, however other than that, I love this mascara! One of the best drugstore mascara's I've tried in a long time. Purchased in Canada, found for $5.97 on sale. It really flares my lashes like crazy, it does take a few layers to get true falsie effect, but after about 3-4 coats, my lashes are super dark and dramatic. It stays on quite well despite the fact that I have oily skin and I get bottom eye transfers a lot. It washes off well, can't say the same about the waterproof version though. Tried everything to get it off (Neutrogena make up removing cleanser and Lancome bificils), I had to literally pull it off my lashes. Overall, worth a try. You may not LOVE it, but you won't hate it either.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Lots of Lashes
Liv90 6/15/2012 3:55:00 AM
I'm not sure what all the raves are about, I should have listened to all the negative feedback because this mascara was such a waste of money (although only $4cad). It made my eye lashes droop downward because the formula was so wet and took so look to dry. It didn't lengthen and it didn't give it much volume. It was there, but barely made a difference. Don't succumb to peer pressure to try this once, spend the extra $3 to get the Covergirl lash blast instead.

Polishes -China Glaze - For Audrey

LOVE IT! If you like tiffany's, you need this polish! At first i wasnt big on the colour, i only wanted it because i love tiffany and i thought it would compliment my tiffany ring :P i thought i was a bit to tanned for it, but i was wrong, it worked amazingly well. And not to mention all the compliments i received on it. You know youve got a nice colour when every lady, girl, woman, and dog notices your nails. Get it. Buy two, or three.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Sweet Mint
Liv90 3/22/2011 3:14:00 AM
I have sweet mint and summer fruit and honeysuckle. I love them all so much! It might just be because of the cute packaging and the fact that it is highly ought after and I happen to have the three flavors available in canada.. I am also going through a lip product phase too, but that's beyond the point. Eos eggs are pretty good, i put lip balm on at night and this is my best judge for whether or not a lip product has good long, lasting, moisturizing abilities. And it does, I wake up the next morning and my lips feels super soft, and it doesnt leave that gritty feeling on my teeth like some lip balms do when warn over night. The only down side to this is the price, it is cheaper in the states so try and get tit there, I've heard they go for a $1 sometimes, well heck no in canada, theyre $6 here. but worth picking one up for a try; ed westwick uses it too ;p mint is great because you can really smell it so it replaces the use of gum if you dont have gum on you. summer fruit smells the best but i cant quite smell it once its one. i have three which is the only reason i wont rebuy, its going to take me a while to get through them all..

Concealers -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Concealer
Liv90 2/9/2011 2:50:00 AM
Ive been using this for a long time and have repurchased this countless times now, but i only gave it 3 lippies. pros: cheap, good coverage, glides and blends well. cons: doesnt last all day, melts off (but i DO have oily skin..), packaging is lipstick like so the last bit of product is hard to access. its not like i dont like it, but i feel like theres better out there, im just too afraid to try something new. lets just say, its worth its price, about $6.50 cad

Lip Gloss -Yves Saint Laurent - Golden Gloss
Liv90 1/26/2011 2:01:00 AM
Golden gloss #30 I bought this as a cheer-me-up and fell in love, which is terrible because this little stick of glamor is $34 cad at holts, ouch. But worth it, its called golden gloss for a reason so i dont understand why people complain about the reminisce of glitter left after it dries dries off. the fact that the glitter remains after the gloss is gone also helps keep my lips looking shiny till i can touch up again. This was a cheer up purchase so I bought the more glamorous one, but i was split between this and number #38 which is just a sheer nude with a slight peach undertone. the difference between the two is that golden gloss, has golden flakes (of course), and it smells much sweeter (i think it has mango scent). #30 and #38 were the same price which really convinced me to get #30 instead. I took off one lippie because of the price, Mac's lipglass is nearly half the price at $17.50 (it's my next buy). Other than that, i love it. descent brush, lovely gold top cover (though it could be packaged like its lipsticks with the mirror on the product too so it could be used like a mirror), makes me feel so hot and so happy :) if youre feeling down, definitely a pick-me-up purchase

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub
Liv90 1/24/2011 3:02:00 AM
Great! I started using this a long long time ago, and began using it religiously when i was dragon boating. On days I had practice, my face was caked with makeup, oil, and dirty creek water, I relied on this scrub to help remove all the gunk. Im on my 1000000 bottle now. Price is great, I can get it for about $3 cad and it always goes on sale somewhere. there are 3 different strengths, regular, mild, and black head which is not as harsh as regular and not as light as gentle. The blackhead one didnt do much for my blackheads and gentle was too mild for my excessively oily dirty skin so i just stick to the regular old scrub. Since you only need to exfoliate at most 3 times a week, 1-2 if you have sensitive skin, this tube will last you a long long time. great, i will keep buying this product.

Styling Products -Got 2 Be - 2 Sexy Voluptuous Volume Hairspray
Liv90 1/13/2011 5:55:00 PM
Favorite! I've used so many different hair sprays but I always find myself coming back to this one. It gives a great tousled hair look, great hold, even in humidity. I have really thick wavy hair, and it gives me that perfect tousled, perfect-messy look. And has a great day after look, for those nights you go to bed without washing out the hair spray; i wake up with even more curls and wave, and it's tighter. I think i'm on my 4 or 5 bottle now.

Polishes -OPI - Red My Fortune Cookie
Liv90 11/26/2010 12:13:00 AM
Love. It. I had my eye on it for some time, then I got it for my birthday which was in the summer. naturally I used it right away, such a good summer colour and of course a great holiday colour too. I even used it under my nail for a Louboutin manicure. I didnt have to apply too many coats to get opaque like many other opi nailpolishes, that take at least 2 coats, this took one, at most 2. i would suggest suggest suggest if you like your reds.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner
Liv90 11/26/2010 12:08:00 AM
This is my everyday eyeliner (i wear eyeliner everyday). The application brush is great, precision lining and non irritating, which is super important to me. I used the elf waterproof liner and the brush was so sharp, application actually hurt. the l'oreal brush is soft, I love it! only down fall is that the pigmentation is weak, but i dont wear eyeliner on its own anymore anyways, i always top it with black eyeshdow, so its not a problem. When i use to use it without eyeshadow though, it would smudge and not last long (given i had oily lids), it did wash off easily though which is nice, no raccoon eyes. I would still buy this product over and over again because of its application, havent found anything with the same brush and contoured wand.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara
Liv90 11/26/2010 12:01:00 AM
This products does what it says, it Volumizes. I bough carbon black but the regular looks just the same. with just one coat it lengthens and plumps up your lashes. with multiple coats, it has the effect of wearing falsies which is great because i love falsies but i dont have the patience to them sometimes, especially when im in a hurry. The down side to this stuff is that it smudges. I apply mascara to my bottom lid, so when my mascara smudges i can really tell (perhaps the waterproof version is better, but i wouldnt know). if ive been at work all day under lights the whole time, sometimes the mascara will transfer onto my top lids too. Washing this stuff off is a pain, it leaves tear streaks all down your face and it take rigorous scrubbing to fully remove evverything which is terrible for your lashes. All in all, i enjoy voluminous because it does what i want it to, but if youre using it for long day wear, go with falsies instead.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Oil Free Moisture [DISCONTINUED]
Liv90 11/25/2010 11:43:00 PM
I first found out about his product from my bf, who has combination-oily skin. I tried it one morning after having stayed over and forgotten my own moisturizer, and loved it. It really is light, and doesnt leave my skin feeling heavy with product like some other moisturizers do. I was previously using Ponds, which i though was ok, but it wasnt oil free. It made make-up application much easier because foundation would just glide on, but it was much too heavy. The neutrogena moisturizer is much lighter and you can barely feel it. It advertises that it "instantly smoothes and primes skin for make-up;" which is what it does for me. my face doesnt get as oily throughout the day. Since i live in vancouver where weather has been sitting around 0 degrees lately; my skin is still fresh and moist, and not dried out from the frigid cold.
