Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait
Littlemissninja 1/6/2013 3:40:00 PM
Im sort of on the fence about this product. The colour is a nice pink on my lips, with just a hint of shimmer. However, I didn't find it very moisturizing, and the shimmer, while not very noticable on the lips, felt gritty when I applied it. Also, it's very soft, I guess because of it's "moisturizing". It's started to get all messy on the top because it's so soft, it just just gets mashed when I use it :/ Bas like how it looks on my lips, but I don't think it lives up to it's claims of being moisturizing, and it doesn't apply that well. I'd rate it about a 2.5 out of 5. I don't think I will repurchase.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Sweet Mint
Littlemissninja 1/6/2013 3:02:00 PM
I loove these! The sweet mint is my fave! I love the adorable sphere packaging. It's amazingly smooth on the lips, and moisturizes, but it's not greasy like some lip balms. It goes on quite light on the lips, so you may need another coat, but I like a nice light balm, so this works well for me. I also love the scent. It smells, well, sweet and minty, just like it says. It reminds me of candy canes. Also, it makes my lips feel tingly (in a good way). I love this product and will absolutely repurchase.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit
Littlemissninja 1/6/2013 2:56:00 PM
I love this, it's so cute! The packaging is adorable, and fits perfectly in a purse to carry around. It moisturizes my lips without being greasy, and it's made from natural ingredients. It also smells amazing, like nectarines. I really love these lip balms, they are one of my faves, will repurchase.
I love this! It's my faveourite summer scent. It's a very innocent scent. It's light and sweet, and I love it. It really does smell of marshmallows. I've had it for about 2 years and I'm more than halfway through the bottle, which is 236 mL. I love this, it smells great and I will deff repurchase
I love these lipglosses. They are 3.50 (CAN) The packaging is good, love the applicator as well. I'm not sure what colour I have, I tore off the label :/ But it's a cute light pink shade with subtle gold shimmer. The colour is not super pigmented, but still looks great on the lips. The shimmer is not super noticable. It's pretty long lasting, as drug store glosses go. Overall, a cute gloss that I use frequently, and will repurchase. 4.5/5
So, I got this in 304 at shoppers for 15 bucks, which is a bit steep for a drugstore gloss. First off, I love the packaging. It's simple and chic, and it has a handy mirror and light. I had this gloss for ages without even knowing about it! Anyway. Pigmentation: Amazing. Formula: Feels great on my lips, not drying at all, non-sticky. Smell: SMELLS AMAZING. I looove lipglosses with a pleasant scent. This one smells sweet....like..marshmallows maybe? Not quite sure, but I love it!! ONLY PROBLEM:It stains my lips. So, if it smudges AT ALL, it stains your skin, and can make you look like a clown. Also really difficult to remove once it's stained your skin, btw. Also, it's pricey, and I'm a gurl on a budget :/ But, other than that, I love it, will not repurchase that exact shade, but will def. check out some new ones :)
I have this in Party pink. I like the shade and the glossy shine it gives, it's really cute. It smells great, also. The problems I find are: firstly, it's a bit too sticky for me. Also, I must have hit an air bubble or something because it started to ooze out without me squeezing the tube, also, at the same time, the 'gloss' that comes out is nothing but oil! Ew. I have hit a rough patch in this lipgloss. Otherwise I quite like it. Even though it is sticky, it was at one point, one of my most used lipglosses. I may repurchase, because I loove the smell and glossy finish.
I got this for around 10 canadian dollars at the drug store. I like how it separates my lashes and gives good length and volume. It doesn't layer very well, so I think thats part of the reason so many people are complaining about clumps and spider lashes. I just use a quick, light coat and see great results, so I'm happy! I like the unique curved brush, aswell. Have repurchased once already.
I got this in 'light boost' and I quite like it for my undereye circles. It gives okay coverage, and doesn't dry my skin, like some products do. I'm not crazy about the twist pen sort of packaging, though. It seems like it's getting dry so I twist it, and none comes out, so I keep going, and it's nothing...nothing.....nothing........great big glob of makeup :/ Overall I rate it a 3.5/5 It's a good product, but i'm still looking for a HG concealer, so I may not repurchase
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Butter - Mango
Littlemissninja 10/22/2012 12:21:00 AM
I got this lip balm in a pack of three lip butters (mango, coconut, and shea). I think they were 10 dollars. I loove the scent, I just wish it was a teeny bit more moisturizing, though. Sometimes I feel the lip butters are a bit heavy (you know what I mean? A bit greasy, but not soo moisturizing). I like the compact packaging as well. Overall, I think it deserves a 3.5/5. I love the amazing scent, but probably won't repurchase
I actually really like this product! I bought it at Shoppers drug mart for only 3.50 canadian. I had been on the hunt for a decent drugstore base, but they are very hard to find. So, I saw this and could not resist. I wasn't sure what to expect, because drug store brands are kind of a hit-or-miss sort of deal. But, when I tried it, I noticed that it made colours more vivid, and made my shadows last without creasing!! Yayy! And, given the price, I will probably repurchase.
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad (all shades)
Littlemissninja 10/21/2012 11:57:00 PM
I have one of these in Urban basics. I have no idea what the price is, since it was a gift. I like all the colours, but not so crazy about the shimmer. I prefer matte eyeshadows. The pigmentation on these is poor, so in order to get enough colour I need to put on an eyeshadow base and really pack it on. The lasting power is okay, but could be better. The packaging looks...well, cheap. Overall, I just wish they had better pimentation and lasting power.
Treatments -Sally Hansen - Nailgrowth Miracle Serum
Littlemissninja 10/21/2012 11:31:00 PM
I was dissapointed with this to say the least. Sally hansen usually has great products, so I hought this would give some results. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for it (I think around 10 canadian). I used it in the morning and in the evening, sometimes even around noon, when I had the chance. I used it for a few weeks and noticed no difference. The dropper isn't bad, but a brush would have been much easier.Another thing is that the bottle is opaque, so you have no idea how much you have left. Overall, this product was a waste. The only thing it's good for is a cuticle oil
I love these! They are so cute! They were 7 dollars candaian at Shoppers drug mart. I got 2, Quenched, and Peach Kiss. Quenched is a clear gloss, with a pleasant, lemon-ish secnt. Peack kiss is a peach/brown shade with shimmer. The colour payoff is just right for me. Peach Kiss has a mild, fruity scent. Both are moisturizing, but I find Quenched to be a bit more moisturizing than Peach Kiss. Both are really cute lipbalms, I will definately repurchase!
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Gem Crush 01 Showgirl Chic
Littlemissninja 10/21/2012 1:14:00 PM
I really love this polish!!!!!!!! I usually apply 2 coats of this, but you can even get away with one, and you can't see (much) bare nail! I wasn't expecting such great coverage. I got it in the colour "Cha-ching" which is red and silver. It dried super fast, and the price was reasonable. The only downside was that it does flake off without a base and topcoat. But, overall, this is great!
