Masks -Elizabeth Arden - Clear the Way

I purchased this product on clearance at TJ Maxx - $4.99. This is the first ever Elizabeth Arden product I have ever purchased - even though it was on a whim - with the price, who could blame me. Best product compared to my usual routine mask. I was alternating between the Queen Helene Mint Julip mask and the Booths Volanco Mud mask. This Elizabeth Arden mask has taken the top seat against both of them. I only use this product once a week and leave it on for about 5-10 mins. I love that it first exfoliates the skin to help penetrate deep into the pores. As the mask dries, if hardens, but not too hard like other masks. Once I hop in the shower and wash it off, my face feels super soft and super clean. During the winter, my skin seems to take a turn for the worst with acne with all the dry skin. With adding this mask to my routine, I noticed the frequency and redness of breakouts decrease with every use. Now, I love reading other reviews to see what others are saying... many have said that this mask does not help clear their break out, but they have only used it for 1-2 weeks. with ANY product, to see maximum results you have to use the product continously for at least 4 weeks. Especially with acne prone skin. Masks actually have two jobs...to help heal what is already present and what is residing under the skin. Many times, with masks,scrubs (you name it) they are penetrating deep down into the skin and pores leaving your skin to PURGE any impurities that is lying under the skin layer to the top (outside). unfortunetly, you are left with a purge breakout, but the product WAS working. all those pimple were hiding under your skin and would and could have errupted evenutally. With most products once your skin finished it purge breakout, your skin should normalize to a better level of control. Give it a go, just for a little longer.

Concealers -L'Oreal - Infallible Concealer

During the winter I get super (x10) pale so finding a conceler to match become a long pricey adventure. I have use the infalliable (pump liquid) foundation and liked the results. I am trying a new "healthy" skin routine and try to ween myself off of full face makeup. Now, my plan is to only use concealer where needed rather than plastering my face with layers and layers of makeup. For my pale skin I choose the fair color and it matches PERFECT. I tried applying this concealer with my fingertips and all i got was a fingertip mark. I opted to apply with a snall (longer handle) eye shawdow brush and it works great. It completely sweeps on clean with no hassle of having to continuously blend. Once the sun becomes more prevalent, I plan on moving up a bracket in color choice. Great results - covered redness like no other. To me, this product beats the quality of some higher end cosmetics I have purchased at Ulta. For under eye - I use a very soft baby brush to dab into the corners and smooth underneath - for a fresh eyed look..must be delicate though - that is the most delicate and sensitive area on the face. :)

Foundations -L'Oreal - Visible Lift, Extra Coverage, Line Minimizing Makeup

I love that this is "Extra" coverage while it doesnt feel like it. Makeup just melts into my skin and makes me feel beautiful. A small amount covers alot... if I feel i need more.. i just add it. Never cakes or looks like I'm wearing a mask. I have tried Extra coverage or FULL coverage makeup's before - and this one cuts the cake. I dont really need full coverage - but hate makeup that comes out looking sheer - especially since I dont have PERFECT skin...but i also dont have TERRIBLE skin. Great for those evening out with the girls or your man. I know I can go out confident knowing that my makeup won't wipe off on my clothes or wear off during the night. I use a light powder to set with and I am out the door! Will def keep purchasing. :)

Powders -L'Oreal - Feel Naturale Powder Compact

This powder compact is perfect. I have a mixture of light/medium skin town - so i purchased this is medium to give me a nice even color. I do not use the sponge that came with the packaging - i use a nice medium sized brush - applies flawlessly!! Nice, light and doesn't break me out. Will keep repurchasing

Masks -St. Ives - Apricot Shower Cleanser Mask

Purchased this product at Harmon Discount. Price was approx (rounding up $3.50) My face has recently broke out from massive stress from work. I wanted something that would completly take off my makeup and cleanser and tone. What better way then a cleanser and mask. I applied it in the shower (since it's steam activated). Followed the directions. applied over my face and let sit for 1-2 mins, then rubbed it in to my skin more. Washes off cleanly with warm water. Left my face clean, brighter and softer! I have not had any problems when using this product. Will branch out and try more. Create cleanser/mask to leave in the shower

Review of Revlon Illuminice Cream Eye Shadow in #04 Sand Dunes Unfortunelty this item was a limited edition product and I am not sure it can be purchased anymore, but the colors provided in this set range from shimmery neutrals to dark neutrals - perfect for all seasons. Wears great, doesnt smudge and looks fabulous. I rarely ever have to re-apply. Can be used as a great eyeliner for that smokey eye look using neutral/brown colors. Includes 2 great highlighter colors for a light eyelid look or a highlighted eye brow area. Would love to purchase again if this product became available. I prefer creme eyeshadows due to being a contact lenses wearer and powder shadow normal falls or gets in between my eyelashes irritating my eyes. Will be trying this product in multiple shades... packaging is a bit bulky since so many colors are provided, but i just use a slightly large cosmetic bag. Have traveled with this product... no mess or fuss. No melting either. Give it a try!!!

This review is for Amazing Cosmetics Velvet Mineral Pressed Powder. I heard great reviews of the concealer and pressed powder. Since Ulta was out of the starter kit, I decided to start with just the powder. The packaging was quiet sleek looking and even came with a inserted plastic cover that goes over the powder and has a holder for the sponge. This was VERY chalky and powdery when applied... Looked like I played with colored baby powder and applied it on my face. Made my face look super shiny and appeared I was super tan and this was one of the lighest shades: Golden Light. I returned this item and will not repurchase... Rubbed off on all my clothing and irritated my face. I now have 3 little red bumps on one side of my chin. Once I washed my face the itch went away but I am afraid the bumps will be staying with me for awhile.... save your money... I suggest using on the concealer if you try this cosmetic line..

I really wanted to love this product. I like the concept of TrueBlend and how it is supposed to match 97% of all skin tones. I purchased this is Translucent Fair - being winter I am pale and continue to get paler as it gets colder. Nice packaging, terrible product. This was just way to sheer for someone who wants to cover up an imperfection. This was like baby powder. Would be a nice Finish over any foundation but not to be used alone. I will be returning and not exchanging for another CG product. I will stick with my Pur Minerals which works and covers much better!

Eyeliner -BeneFit Cosmetics - Eye Kohl in Onyx [DISCONTINUED]

I loved this eyeliner. I wore this pencil down to the end. Went on great, was easy to apply and was smudgeable by choice. I actually stopped wearing eyeliner, but if i did, this would be the eyeliner from my makeup bag!

Concealers -Dermablend - Smooth Indulgence Concealer

I would purchase this again if my HG conceal ever gets discontinued. This went on great and looks even. Made me look super PALE. Is majorly pigmented to cover major skin imperfections. Worked well on covering the occasional pimple but not for everyday use..

Very cheap - bought at walmart for $1.72. Works great except the MAJOR raccoon eyes. I would use makeup eye remover and then wash my entire face... STILL left with all the junk underneath my bottom eyelashes. Only thing that would remove was a DRY piece of toliet paper... which by the way that is the most delicate area of skin on the human body so rubbing with anything rough and dry...not good!! this mascara found a great home... in my garbage can. Not going to continue use if my night routine is increased x 10. Overall: Just to difficult to remove!!

NO TWEEZE WAX works great. apply a little where you want to remove hair, press down and pull in opposite direction. Works great and a little goes a long way. easy for getting "precision" eyebrows. Have used this product for years. Sculpting your brows has never been made so easy!
