Really disappointed about this foundation, in fact it is one of he worst I have ever tried. My skin was in good condition before use and I am now covered in spots. Besides, this foundation seems to glide off my skin very quickly and the saleswoman promised me it was long-lasting. All in all, a very disappointing experience. The search for my HG foundation continues...

Eyeliner -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Zero-Smudge Liquid Eye Liner

The product really does live up to its name, but hence, taking it off again does require some hard work... The remains of the eyeliner then go all over my face and even into my hair: it could be the way I take off the eyeliner, but still I do think it really does create a terrible mess. Also, I seem to have got blemishes on my face on all the parts where bits of the eyeliner got stuck. One thing I did not like about the liquid eyeliner either is the shimmer, especially when you try to correct the line going over it again (ie. reapplication). I always went over the liquid liner with a pencil in order to make it look less shiny/shimmery. All in all, I much prefer the Double Wear eyepencils which I have in Black and Midnight Blue. They are wonderful and last practically all day as well.

This eyepencil is fantastic, it really does stay put all day long. For years I have been using liquid liner, but recently I have got rather fed up with the time-consuming application procedure. I purchased both "Graphite" and "Black Plum", which I both love. At the moment I am using the latter, which is a wonderful deep purple colour. Love it, it is so flattering! I also have the Surreal Violet eyeshadow palette, which is the last word. Truly beautiful, I think I have at last found the perfect colours to match my blue eyes. In other words: do treat yourself to these fabulous EL products while they last...

Wow, I just bought this lipstick today and couldn't wait to try it: I am wearing it right now and it looks amazing! After years of searching I think I have found my HG lipstick at last, it is both glamorous and natural at the same time. Another tip: it looks great paired with Estee Lauder's Surreal Violet palette, another recent discovery. After all: girls just wanna have fun!

This lipstick has really impressed me: great creamy texture, lovely packaging, and the long-lasting colour is just beautiful. This pinkish, natural shade is fabulous: it makes your lips plump and voluptuous. In other words, I would really repurchase this product and advise you to try this lipstick yourself!

Eyeliner -Clinique - Quickliner for eyes- smoky brown

It looks like I have at last found the perfect eyeliner and I can tell you that I have tried many! The colour is just wonderful, a lovely greyish brown and I am pleased to see it stays put all day (well, it seems so anyway). I have tried Revlon Colorstay and Mac Powerpoint and especially the latter is not as long-lasting as it claims to be. Clinique's Quickliner, however, comes up trumps: beautiful colour and truly long-lasting.

Foundations -Guerlain - Fleur de Teint Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

This is a truly wonderful foundation, what a great invention! When I heard about this foundation, I immediately wanted to try it and I certainly was not disappointed. The finish is natural and light and really does give you a perfect, rosy complexion. I am hooked! I also like its ingenious pump mechanism: every time you use the bottle, the mechanism moves upwards so that you can see when to replace the bottle. Even though some prefer glass bottles, I think this lightweight bottle is perfect: a less heavy make-up bag and no chance of breaking the bottle either...

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Colorstay 12-Hour Eyeshadow -General

The colorstay eyeshadows are really superb: they certainly do what they claim... After a whole day the colour seems as fresh as in the morning and what a wonderful thing to see the shadow hasn't moved up to my eyebrows! I have the eyeshadows in white, silver and baby blue and am especially pleased with the latter: a truly beautiful and soft colour. Although I didn't expect this colour to work well with blue eyes, it does. The colour subtly enhances my eyes, more so than the silver colour. Thumbs up for the colorstay eyeshadows!

Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Electric Intense Lip Creme - Love Affair

This is a really beautiful lipstick: I love the smell (strawberries?) and the colour is a very flattering pink which would most probably suit everyone. Who can resist a lipstick called "Love Affair"?!

Eye Shadow -Bourjois - Violet de Parme - #53

Although I can imagine this colour would look lovely on some women, it did not suit me at all: it looked like I had an eye infection/ was beaten up. This colour is probably flattering for those with brown eyes or darker skin. In addition, I think this eyeshadow is not really suitable for women who wear contact lenses: I had problems with the shadow getting into my eyes.

Blush -MAC - blushcreme ladyblush

This blush is a lovely rose colour, which would probably suit fair skins best. The packaging is attractive, actually it looks like this blush would be good enough to eat! I have a preference for creme blushes, as they are easy to apply and look more natural than powder blushes. Although I really love this blush, I would probably buy another blushcreme next time (in a slighty darker colour).

Eyeliner -Yves Saint Laurent - Eyeliner Moire

At last I think I've found the perfect eyeliner: the eyeliner moire is a beautiful grey/antracite liner and looks must softer than black. I've tried black liner (too harsh) and brown liner (does not suit my cool skin tone), but this colour is just perfect! I recommend this liner to anyone who is looking for a liquid eyeliner that is easy to apply and gives you a defined, but soft look. I am a blonde with fair skin and blue eyes, but I am sure this liner would look good on everyone.
