I came across this in a review in a beauty blog then saw it the next day at Healthy Options dirt-cheap. I was on the look-out for sulfur products since Badescu is way over-priced here, so I bought this. I discovered that it's best applied right after washing your face while the pores are still open, and there's a tingling tightening sensation for a couple of minutes. This mask is a godsend since this horible summer made my dry skin really oily especially my T-zone and with oiliness comes those nasty cystic pimples which just become irritated with antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide and tretinoin. I looked like i was fighting a very red flaky war with my pimples! I read that this made a wonderful overnight leave-on treatment for pimples so I tried it and voila the bumps were retreating the next day and the next until they disappeared and stopped coming... It dried up the oiliness on my T-zone too. I will definitely rebuy even if it makes me look like a green monster!

Conditioner -Suave - Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner

I have twice-dyed asian hair and it was drying out because of beach trips and the summer heat. So i went looking for a new conditioner since VO5's conditioners weren't moisturizing enough. Got this for two dollars for a big bottle which is a steal for foreign brands, used it for a few weeks but my hair became limp and oily even with Clear so I stopped. Then I read at MSN that the trick to conditioners is to apply conditioner first, rinse then shampoo second. Guess what? it worked! My hair was bouncy and soft and really manageable. I so like hair that just needs finger combing after air-drying!

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I had great expectations from this product, but I was sorely disappointed. First, it was hard getting a color match for my asian skin. Second, my skin looked terrible no matter how much I moisturized or blended. Third, the foundation melts off as soon as my face sweats. Never buying this again.

Sunscreen -L'Oreal - UV Perfect Ultimate Protection Fluid with Mexoryl XL SPF 50/PA+++

I really really adore this product. It beats all the facial sunscreens I've tried. Cost: It's really cheap considering I bought a tube last february on sale and i'm still using it everyday. You just need a few drops to cover your face and neck area. Comfort: On the first application, it itches a bit. On subsequent applications, your skin gets used to the fluid and there is no discomfort you'll forget you're wearing anything. Appearance: There is no white gunk on your face, though it is a bit shiny especially in tropical weather, but nothing a dab of loose powder and blotting paper won't fix. I'm using the anti-dullness version but I wish L'oreal will offer the tinted version in several shades so I can do away with my liquid foundation. Effectiveness: Very effective even in forty degree celsius heat. On a recent three day trip to the beach, I applied it once on my face and neck in the morning and forgot all about it. On the rest of my body, I applied SPF 70 nivea sunblock which I reapplied religiously every four hours. Guess where my skin went lobster-red and burned for days? This was also true for my mum who used the fluid for her face and coppertone SPF 50 on her body. Sensitivity: My skin is the most-acne prone of all. I bought the fluid for the first time since I was self-medicating with a 10% glycolic acid toner and peel for facial discoloration. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and I don't get pimples so I can use my glycolic therapy continously without my face burning when exposed to sunlight and indoor light. Overall, I'm going to continue using the anti-dullness version until l'oreal puts out more shades of the tinted version. I'm also looking forward to using the new L'oreal XL perfect for the body in gel/liquid form.
