Eye Shadow -MAC - Portraiture Paint

I have had this MAC paint in my bag for at least a year and never reached for it after the first time. Something turned me off. Recently tho I put it on and now I love it! Its a light rust color on my with almost no shimmer, nothing like stilife shimmer. I am wearing it as a base and its perfect. I am olive toned and this is darker than my lids and very pretty.

Another disappointment. This really managed to immediately take out the curl I just put in, and I didn't find anything so great about my lashes afterwards. I had high hopes for this one based on so many raves around here. Won't repurchase.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Shadow Box

I LOVE THIS PALETTE!!!!! I am just now discovering the beauty of Urban Decay shadows! The non-gliterry ones rival the Shu Uemura ME shades in texture and beauty! I am loving Acid Rain, Blunt, Copper, Midnight Cowboy - everything really except Grifter which is too "whatever" for me. Lounge in the crease with Acid Rain or Blunt on lid is my favorite look right now. LOVE THIS!

UGH! I hate this mascara!!! I used it 4 times and each time it wound up under my eyes after a few hours. Horrible stuff! Its thick and clumpy and doesn't even give me long lashes! Just a big mess. Blech and so expensive. I'm sticking with my Lancome Definicils.

Mascara -Avon - Astonishing Lengths Mascara

UGH. This mascara is horrible!! I thought I would like it like I love my Avon Extreme Volume Flexicoat but no!!! This is clumpy and lashes stick together and don't look much longer, just clumpy. Bad bad product.

Eye Shadow -Shu Uemura - ME Brown 885

This is a HG crease color for me. Besides having all the fabulous qualities of Shu shadows, especially the ME ones, this is the most gorgeous wine color for my creases. It really makes my dark brown eyes pop and it lasts all day. I take my brush and just press it into this beautiful soft shadow and it picks up all I need to blend it into the crease. Soooooo pretty.

This is the prettiest color! Its a great neutral but has the quality of MAC Vex in that the shimmer reflects another shade. Its just so wonderful on my lid. Lumene shadows in general are really nice and silky and pigment is good.

This stuff feels like plain greasy Vaseline on me. Looks like it too. Tiny little spf 4 factor is not a big sell. I like that it comes in a tube tho. Thats about it.

Im impressed with this. I tested it on one side all day and kept comparing my eyes and the side that I had used it on the fine lines and crows feet were much smoother and plumper! Also plumped up my small crease between my eyes. Worth it then!

Awesome product! I think I have FINALLY found my HG face sunscreen!!! This is seriously lightweight and non-oily and did not break me out! All with an SPF of 30. I love this stuff and thank you to crymeariver for getting the full ingredient listing. Im in heaven, I have tried almost every drugstore sunscreen and nothing is as lightweight and lotiony as this and keeps my oily skin, well just as oily as it was before but doesnt turn me into a grease pit like all the others! YAY!!!

Concealers -Lumene - Beauty Base Red Neutralizer

This stuff is awesome! I am actually going without foundation and just applying this to the red areas on my face. It stays on my oily skin for hours and is easy to reapply as needed. It blends beautifully for most skin tones I think. It comes in a small pot the same size as Lumene Star Singles shadows, which I love because I can throw it into my purse and it makes no mess to apply (like some wand styles can) Consistency is beautiful, smooth and awesome pigment and texture. I love the stufF! NO FOUNDATION or Tinted moisterizer for me! What a treat! UPDATE: Sadly, this does break me out, so I will use it only for special occasions. Taking a lippie away for that.

Yes it curls, but it also separates lashes into 4-5 clumps. Even with lash comb I can't get a nice even look. I would rather curl my lashes with my curler and use another mascara.

Blush -Avon - Split Second Blush Stick in Aruba

I was amazed at how much I liked this! The color Aruba is the prettiest shimmering plum -comparable to the color of NARS Sin. I have oily skin and this went on like a lovely creamy powder, and dried to an even nicer powder finish. It doesnt last all day and required touch-ups, but the wonderful packaging in a nice tube made that easy and pleasant. I am anxious now to try more colors, and I got this on sale for almost nothing through Avon.

These cream shadows are awesome! I have Blue Hawaii and Spice Island and they stay put on my oily lids all day long! Love them. Pretty color choices too.

This foundation surprised me completely with how great it is on me! First of all the color really is a true match! I used the set up at the drugstore to figure out what would work best and settled on Natural Creme and its a perfect match! The texture of it is so smooth. I was expecting something richer or thicker, and its very liquidy, but that makes it super blendable and almost effortless to blend in. Coverage is good, I would call it between sheer and medium coverage. Lasts most of the day. Im oily so I blot a lot - this stuff is great.
