I have waist length, curly hair, which I like to straighten. I have a hard time combing through my hair, esp. when wet. I could not belive the difference in using this comb!! It works awesome , esp. on wet hair, I could not believe how much quicker it was!! This comb is a tad pricey, $24.00, but well worth it.

Hair Styling Tools -Remington - Protect & Shine Pure Ceramic Flat Iron
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 4/28/2010 8:30:00 PM

Hi, I bought this iron due to the req's on the hair care board. Normally I am a high end girl, in products and esp. my tools! I currently have a CHI, GHD, Sedu, Linea Pro, and a few more . This iron works awesome! I could not believe it worked better than the $200.00 plus models. I have waist lenght, curly hair, straightens and does make it shine. It is infused with Avocado oil in the plates, which is supposed to last the life-time of the product. I could not believe how good it works, esp. for the price. ($50.00) .

Liquid -Yves Saint Laurent - TEINT RESIST Long Wear Transfer Resistant Foundation
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 3/24/2010 6:10:00 PM

I have this in shade #1, Ivory. I am a cool toned PPP. This is one of my favourite foundations! I always rotate and try new foundations, being a make-up junkie, but this is in my top five. Gives a beautiful, medium to full coverage soft matte look, but is not cakey or fake looking at all . It is very long lasting as well. Extremely pleased with it!!

Foundations -TEMPTU - Air Pod
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 3/24/2010 6:03:00 PM

I have this in 001 Porcelain. (the lightest, cool toned shade). I have used other air-brush systems, but the temptu I like the best. I find it extremely easly to use . With my other air-brush systems I found they took a lot of time, cleaning, ect. (as well as messy liquids). The temptu, once set up ,you just plug it in and press one button and it is so quick. I leave mine set up all of the time . I also Love SK-II air-touch, but I believe it is soon to be discontinued. I find the finish very natural and long-wearing as well.

Primer/ Corrector -La Prairie - Cellular Treatment Gold Illusion Line Filler
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 4/9/2009 6:44:00 PM

This is a gorgeous gold colored primer. In the jar it looks very glittery, but once applies gives a beautyful base for your makeup with a slight glow. This is pricey, here in Canada it is $200.00! But a little goes a long, long way. My makeup seems to last longer as well, very nice product. (I wish the packaging was in a pump though, not a jar , esp. for the amount of money you are paying!)

Foundations -By Terry - Lumiere Veloutee [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 3/15/2009 12:49:00 PM

I have this in the lightest shade, #1, Ultra Fair. I am a cool toned PPP. I have used a few foundations in the byterry line, and this is by far my favourite! It is moderate coverage, more matte to me, but not drying. Does not cake into fine lines and lasts all day. I totally recommend this foundation, it is pricey, but worth it!

Powders -Yves Saint Laurent - Collector Powder For The Compexion
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 9/18/2008 3:22:00 PM

I believe this is a limited edition compact for the fall 2008 season. This is a gorgeous pressed powder/blusher or bronzer, depending on how fair you are. It has 3 shades, a gorgeous pink, a light pink , and a light beige. I swirl them all together and use them as a blusher/bronzing powder, as I am very fair . This looked way better in person than online, online it looked much darker to me.

Liquid -Shu Uemura - Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 9/18/2008 3:16:00 PM

I have this is shade #784, and matches my skin tone perfectly. I am a very pale PPP, cool toned, and this is light enough for me. It gives moderate coverage, but still natural looking. This is my first Shu foundation, and I am quite impressed!

Foundations -Giorgio Armani - Face Fabric Second Skin Nude Makeup
rated 4 of 5
Lipglossdoll 6/18/2008 7:50:00 PM

I purchased this in shade #8, (iirc is supposed to be a highlighting shade), but matches my cool-toned PPP skin tone. This is a sheer, matte based foundation, (very sheer). This is great for the summer months when you don't want a whole face of make-up. I have tried this as a primer as well, under my regular foundation if I want more coverage.

Blush -Chantecaille - Protected Paradise Face Compact
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 5/3/2008 6:19:00 PM

This is a unbelievably beautiful highlighting/blusher compact. It has 3 shades in it, a glowy pink, a glowy champagne colored highlighter and a gorgeous golden peach colour. You can swirl them all together for a gorgeous, glowy look. It is pricey, but one of my favourite highlighters.

Eye Shadow -Chantecaille - Protect Paradise Eye Compact
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 5/3/2008 5:48:00 PM

First of all the packaging caught my eye, also the whopping price tag, (esp. to get it here to Canada, lol!). This is a beautiful, shimmery compact for the eyes. The first colour is a shimmery, peachy-gold shade, I like to use it as a highlighter. The second shade as a darker , shimmery ( glowy) green, not glittery. I like to use this in the crease. The third shade, and most of the compact is a lovely light medium grey-green. These are shades I would not normally use, but work great on my dark brown eyes.

Blush -Lancome - blush subtil miel glace
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 3/12/2008 6:06:00 PM

This is a nudish/pink, slightly rose blush. If it were not for the reviews here, I would have easily side stepped using this blush. In the pan it looks sort of blah, nothing special, but once applied gives a nice, gorgeous glow. I am very fair, PPP with cool undertones, and this works great for me. (I thought it might be a tad warm for my skintone).

Primer/ Corrector -Cle de Peau - Refining Corrector for Lines
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 2/22/2008 12:01:00 PM

I was ordering a replacement for the transclucent corrector for pores when the SA recommended this. It is a thick, whitish primer you use under makeup for any fine lines, ect. I use the transclucent corrector on my t-zone, then this around my eyes. As another reviewer mentioned, you need to let it sit for a minute or two , then apply your makeup. Makes you look more refreshed.

Crème -Cle de Peau - Teint Naturel Satine
rated 5 of 5
Lipglossdoll 2/22/2008 11:57:00 AM

I have the original cream foundation from cle de peau, and decided to give this one a try. I LOVE it! The texture of the original is very matte, this is more of a creamy consistency. (still great coverage, but not as "fake" looking, more luminous). A little of this goes a long way as well. I find it very long wearing as well, very pleased. The shade I use is II0, I am very fair. I did find this shade a tad darker than the lightest shade in the original though, whish this one was a tad lighter.

Crème -Yves Saint Laurent - Teint Majeur
rated 4 of 5
Lipglossdoll 12/5/2007 3:03:00 PM

I had this in shade #1. I am a cool toned PPP, and this matches my skin beautifully. This gives moderate to full coverage, but I love it as it does not look mask like at all, very long wearing. It is pricey,(iirc, $120.00 Canadian?) but a little covers a lot, lol! It comes in a glass jar packaging, it looks lovely, but I would prefer a pump.
