I must first start by saying that this company has THE most amazing colors ever and the brush is THE best on the market as well giving an effortless application. The shine is incredible too. I had absolutely nothing negative to say abot this polish EXCEPT>>>>>>>>> that it chips very very quickly, like on day 3. I have good nails and wear my polish, unchipped, for a week or more. This polish must have a formula that is not chip resistant and that is the reason I gave it a 3 out of 5 on overall rating. Just really annoying that I have to change the polish so quickly. It stayed beautiful for two days. NOT NEARLY LONG ENOUGH!. Does not compare to the wear of ESSIE polishes. But I must say they do win on the colors and shine and ooh laa laa, that brush. Please American Apparel, tweak your formula. You almost got it right!
Very interesting fragrance. I too have purchased this on ebay (horrible, perhaps it ws old, very acidic) and then on HSN. THE PRODUCT I JUST GOT FROM THE MIGLIN WEBSITE IS NOT THE SAME PRODUCT THAT YOU GET WHEN BUYINGFROM HSN! I actually them at Miglin's in an email and they said they sell the juice directly to them and it is in a contract that it is not allowed to be hampered in any way. They swear it is the same juice that they sell in a fancier bottle. But that is not my experience. The bottle I received last week I have used 3 times. It is an herbal, heady, yet sophisticated (not old lady) interesting musk overtone scent. Its very sexy and I do love it. With the weather getting warmer, I am curious as to how it will evolve on my skin. I see why its still being sold since the 70's! A winner.
I HAVE 4 OF THE LANCOME ROUGE IN LOVE LIPSTICKS, ALL IN DIFFERENT SHADES OF REDS AND PINKS. I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY A LIGHTER COLOR FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS. BOUGHT CORAIL. THIS DOESN'T EVEN SEEM LIKE THE SAME LIPSTICK. IT STREAKS, GOES ON NOTHING LIKE THE COLOR IN THE TUBE AND SEEMS VERY BALM LIKE. I HAVE THE ORIGINALA THAT EMMA WATSON MODELS, AND A FUSCHIA WHICH ARE GENUIUS. IT STAYS AND STAYS YET DOESN'T LOOK DEAD AND DRY. DOESN'T COLLECT IN THE CORNERS OF YOUR MOUTH. BUT THIS CORAIL IS A HORROR. WISH I COULD RETURN IT!

I HAVE NOT WORN UNDER EYE CONCEALER FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS AS I HAVE AN ARSENAL OF BRANDS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED AND JUST WAS EITHER TOO PEARLY (YSL) TOO PASTY (LAURA GELLER) TOO DRY LOOKING (MOST BRANDS) OR JUST MADE MY EYES LOOKER OLDER THAN I ACTUALLY AM. SO I JUST GAVE IT UP. SAW A MINI SIZE OF THIS PRODUCT ON EBAY FOR $3.75 AND THOUGHT I WOULD BUY IT AND IF IT DIDN'T DELIVER WOULD JUST TOSS IT INTO MY PILE OF "NO SHOWS". WOW FINALLY! IT IS THE PERFECT CONSISTENCY, VERY GEL LIKE, SPREADS BEAUTIFULLY AND LEAVES BEHIND JUST ENOUGH OF A LIGHTENING TO FRESHEN THE EYE AREA WHICH IS WHAT CONCEALER SHOULD DO ANYWAY! I DON'T THINK THIS WOULD BE "ENOUGH" FOR DARK CIRCLES". THE NAME IS MISLEADING. TO CALL IT PASTE LEADS ONE TO BELIEVE IT WILL COVER EVEN A TATTOO, BUT IT IS JUST A SHEER WASH OF LIGHT. DOES NOT MAKE THE LINES UNDER THE EYES MORE NOTICEABLE AND I WILL BUY THIS UNTIL THE COWS COME COME!
After seeing this product on QVC (or is it HSN....I get them mixed up) and hearing the owner of the company say it is for all hair types, I purchased the huge 32 oz size of the shampoo and coordinating condition for $100! WOW what a mistake! I have short fine hair and the days that I DO use it, it is lifeless being weighed down and also lacks the shine that I have naturally. Too much Ojon oil in the shampoo, as the reason for a shampoo is to CLEAN the hair and it should leave it neutral letting each individual put additional products in as needed. This leaves the hair in a particular way that not all hair can handle. Not good.

CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THIS STUFF! Whenever I feel I am starting to clog up, or get a bit more breakouts than usual, or that my skin is getting oilier or dryer and reacting to the season, I use these magical ampules for the 30 day regimen. WOW! Slowly, day by day my skin returns to a beautiful, splotch free, blemish free, smooth as glass, minimized poor silky smooth, dewey condition! The first reviewer said that Dr. H must be laughing all the way to the bank! She did not give this very semingly benign gentle "water" a fair try. It actually transforms every problem you may be having with your skin to a normal condition. Worth every penny!
I just received this one as a gift. My goodness. The first whiff is so off putting I cannot believe I didn't jump into the shower to wash it off. It does dry down with vanilla coming thru until it completely disappears, but the overall impression is stange at best. It almost smells like a bathroom after someone else has been in there! I cannot imagine who allowed this one to go to market. I know that Turin/Sanchez praise this one to the hilt which tells us all that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Wow......not good at all.
Although Miranda seems to be loved by most of the reviewers on this site, I must say that my initial response to my first day of wear is that it is a Tocade by Rochas wannabe. It smells 98% like Tocade with the smoothness and stableness missing. It also doesn't last nearly as long or stay nearly as lovely. Nice fragrance, but nothing to get excited about.
Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - Paris Jardins Romantiques

SO GLAD I ENDULGED!! Some years ago my husband bought me a bottle of Paris when it first came out, on a vacation we took in Bermuda. So when I smell Paris, Bermuda, sun, balmy breezes and fresh spring air is what I think of. I read the reviews on Paris Jardin Romantiques and when I read that it was BETTER than Paris and in keeping with the same general scent, I had to have it. Well I purchased it on line for a song ($4.2 fl oz for $33.99!) and she is a beauty! Firstly it starts off just like Paris with tons of roses. But the dry down definitely has greens coming thru. Just fresh, lovely, ladylike, and very now. You must try this if you are a YSL Paris lover. Treat yourself!
I remember buying this back in the 70's when it first came out and I liked it, but never finished the bottle and eventually threw it away. I have been so enamored with all of Miss Lauder's fragrances lately and have a new respect and appreciation of her genuis, that I decided to try this again. (the newer fragrances by this house just doesn't move me at all...Pleasures?.....boring) Some reviewers say it is not the same formulation as the old, but truthfully, I cannot remember. This new bottle of Aliage is lovely. It is touted as an outdoor, sport fragrance which is interesting, because I find it very strong (not in a bad way!) and NOT condusive to sport, picnics, or what have you. It is very green and woody as are most of the perfumes that Miss Lauder devised. But the only reason I say I wouldn't buy it again is that Auree' is just so superior and yet very very similar. I would go for another bottle of the Azuree' and just as well pass on the next purchase of Aliage. But please don't misunderstand me, its still a well done, quality essence.
LOVELY ROCHAS! THEY HAVE DONE IT RIGHT SO MANY TIMES! Tocade is one of my all time favorites and after reading some reviews of Absolu in books, on this site and other internet blog sites I decided for the price (so cheap!) to give it a whirl since I am a fan of many Rochas fragrances. NICE! It starts out as almost the exact same top notes as Tocade. Vanilla, warm, amber; very comforting yet sexy and is an anywhere anytime fragrance. Absolu starts the same way, but within 10 minutes morphs into a orange creamsicle chord that is very yummy, yet not really a gourmand kind of fragrance. Long lasting, beautiful contemporary bottle. If you even "like" Tocade, this is another must have.
Fragrances -Lolita Lempicka - L de Lolita Lempicka

Just got back from an outing at Sephora and did a little more damage that I wanted to. Took a sample on my wrist of L de Lolita Lempicka. The opening is wonderful. Very "Lolita". Smelled similar to all the others. But as it dried down the ONLY thing I could detect was pure vanilla and nothing else. I was disappointed. A nice vanilla at that, but vanilla only. As it continued to dry about 2 hrs later the vanilla morphed into a stale human gas emission, if you know what I mean. Did not care of this one. But the bottle is lovely.
Just stopped into a Fendi store to check out the purses and received a trial of the Palazzo edp. I was shocked, as Fendi fragrances are not usually my thing. Lovely. Warm ambery, long lasting, elegant but can be worn during the day. Someone reviewed here and said it was like Angel. NO SIMILARITY AT ALL TO ME. Angel is wonderful but must be worn with caution as you can offend depending where you are. This is nothing short of a perfect anytime sophisticated last thing you throw on before you leave for the day. A well done very balanced scent. Ordered the large size (3.0) edp from Neimans today and cannot wait to get it. I just read the other reviews of this fragrance and am blown away at the negative response to it. Isn't it interesting what different noses smell? I am wearing it now as I was reading and kept smelling my wrist. To me nothing short of lovely.
Very reminiscent of chanel No. 5 indeed! But there is something very unique about this one as so many more women wear Chanel No 5, and few in this day and age ever heard of this one, unless you are perfumista like me! A very satisfying fragrance. I get a short lived but very lively note of violet in the first 10 minutes which is lovely. Wish it lasted longer. I have to take this one with me for the day, as I have to respritz a few times. Doesn't last on me, but worth the efforts. Not an old lady scent at all, just very edgy and very Audrey Hepburnish.
As someone who never thought Estee Lauder was chic enough for me to purchase any of her fragrances, I kept a distance and only used her cosmetics. After reading much about what a genuis Miss Lauder was and how ahead of her time she was, my curiosity was peaked and I purchased Azuree. I amazed myself (and that takes a lot!) as this is one of my top three favorite fragrances (I have over 50!). It is unique to say the least and that is the draw for me. I lasts all day and never losing the green, sprice and leather notes. I read further about Miss Lauder and found too that she never ever skimped on her choice and quality of pure essences that went into her perfumes. It shows! This is an amazingly sophisticated fragrance and I now own Private Collection (also must be appreciated by over 40 women who know fine fragrances) and White Linen. All winners of the highest quality. But Azuree is in a class of her own. Love her!
