EDIT: This has now caused my skin to break out like crazy because it clogged my skin up so bad!! -------------------------------- I have been reading reviews on this product and everybody seems to love this, however I don't. I bought it in Porcelain and it is a tad too dark but I can manage (although I am using this color in other foundations from Bobbi). I hated the Long-Wear foundation but this is much better. When I put it on my face does indeed look flawless BUT after a few minutes this starts to sink into the skin and my skin feels suffocated! Arg.... It's like my pores can't breathe and like I just put on a thick mask. Yet, this doesn't cover all my blemishes. I also feel like if I smile, this will sit in my wrinkles (the few ones I have) and then it just sits there like a mask. I feel very uncomfortable with this on because I am always afraid this will transfer on to my clothes, phone etc. Also, the amount you get in a pan finishes quickly. A friend of mine also bought this and she agrees that this foundation really feels heavy and she just doesn't reach for it. For me, I turned back to my much loved Dior Nude foundation and Smashbox BB Cream. I must say though, this foundation did last on my face through few hours without getting oily and the best brush to use in it is, IMO, Shiseido Foundation brush.

Powder -Chanel - Les Beiges - Healthy Glow Sheer Powder

I was excited when this came out. When I met the product in person I was a bit taken back at how extremely sheer it was. I do understand the concept of a sheer product but I don't like it. I want my products with full on pigmentation so I will not need as much of it. Almost all of the Les Beiges colours are really orange looking, except for nr. 50. I am pale so it looked fake on me, reeeeally orange (she put nr. 20, 30 and nr. 40 on me). The powder is not only sheer, it is really powdery and loose in a way so I lost a lot of product when I put my brush into this. This is a nice product but you are pretty much just paying the high price tag for it and wanting it badly because the white top of the casing is fooling you and who doesn't want to look like Giselle? There er SO MANY BETTER POWDERS LIKE THIS OUT THERE for half of the price. And putting it all over the face for an outdoorsy look? Please, it is just as you do with a regular bronzer... This is marketing 101! Try something like Shiseido Bronzer (the medium one is cool toned) or even try the Body Shop bronzers... They give similar outcome since this is so sheer. EDIT: I went with my friend to a Chanel make-up artist for her wedding make-up. The lady used all Chanel on her face and including this powder. To pick up some powder she but a medium sized brush in it and swirled and swirled and swirled! I almost gasped because I thought a) now there will be way much product in the brush and b) she will go through a pan of this product in no time if she need this much of it every time. My friend, who was getting her make-up done, is very fair. Although the make-up artist swirled the brush HEAVILY in the pan, there was NOT too much product in the brush. Now this is what we call a sheer and powdery product!

Liquid -Smashbox - Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Fdt.

After a long wait, Smashbox arrived in my country! I ran out to test their products but I saw that their foundation, Studio Skin, got a good review here on MUA and I wanted to try it out. This foundation is crazy thick and hard to blend. I can imagine it is supposed to be for a photoshoot or something like that but not to wear on daily basis. I felt as if it killed my skin, like my skin was choking under all that silicone and other ingredients! However, it did hide most of my imperfections (but not as well as EL Dbl.Wear) and I looked good! After about 4 hours my skin was getting shiny (but I did powder over in the first place) and my pores looked enlarged. I was so glad to come home and wash my face clean! I did not want to make my skin suffer anymore!! After I washed it clean (twice) my skin was still feeling like it was closed? I felt uncomfortable. This of course turned into a breakout-mess and the foundation was returned. Other foundations I have tried are Dior Forever, YSL Teint Resist, YSL Touche Eclat foundation, all MAC foundations, E.L. Double Wear and this. But on my search for the perfect foundation I finally found a foundation I am in love with! Diorskin Nude!

Cleansers -Clinique - Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk

EDIT: Hmm... I see now that this doesn't take off all my make-up. I have to use this and then a soap to get everything off. Usually I could use this around my eyes but now it started to sting my eyes. I have to write a review since this product was getting so many negatives... My skin is so troubled! Its oily, acne prone, sometimes dry etc etc.... Everything breaks me out! I was on a run through a Duty Free and decided to try this (hadnt read anything about it) an I must say this is one of the best products I have bought! On daily bases I use many make-up products that are long wearing (BB gel liner... Dior foundation, LM powder, lipstick name it) and at the end of the day I use 2 or 3 pumps of this and it takes everything off leaving my skin really nice and clean. I do use Clinique Mild Liquid Facial Soap sometimes after this but not always. My skin has never been better. I have tried make-up remover oils but they dried my skin and there was always residue on my eyes etc.... Take it from a person who has almost tried everything, this is a fantastic product!

Ohh... I always try so hard to be that fresh faced Bobbi Brown girl but it doesn't seem to be happening! I do think she has the best lipglosses on the market and eyeliners etc but everything that has to do with the actual SKIN is just not working for my sensitive skin. I am always matched as porcelain in Bobbi Brown foundations and powders. I have tried all of her foundations as well as powders and the SAME thing always happens! My skin gets extra oily and my pores seem crazy large. On daily bases I have sensitive, fair skin that is acne prone and clogges up easily. I got a sample of this foundation and I must say I love the packaging. The pump is nice. I put this on and from the start it looked shiny and a little bit streaky. I put on some loose powder, trying to minimize the enlarged pores the foundation created, and it was a little bit better outcome. After an hour or so my face was a shiny mess! The foundation started to feel heavy but I wanted to see how it would turn out so I did nothing and went out to dinner. When I came home 2 hours later (and note, at that time I had been wearing this so called long lasting foundation for the total of 3 hours) my entire face was and OIL SLICK! I have never looked so bad... I looked like one of the girls from Bridesmades when they got food poisoning!! My face was dripping like I had smeared oil on it or as if it was melting off. Even my eyelids were dripping like I had but some oil on them. Im guessing its the shea butter in the foundation, not sure. I cant blame the heat for this since the tempature outside was around 10 degrees celcius. I will just stay with my lovely Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation... Only thing that works! (But I reeeeally want to be as fresh faced as the girls in BB's commercials... I wonder how long their makeup lasts? Im guessing after an hour all they are left with is the eyeliner, eh?)

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette

I have had some disappointments in my life but I guess UD Naked tops them all! For ref. I am NW 15 and BB Porcelain. It took me such a long time to get this palette and it is not sold in my country. I finally got it the other day and it was like christmas! But my god, this is the most hyped up palette I have ever bought! I would really want to meet the marketing genious who is working for Urban Decay! So, first of all.... This palette is way too warm for my fair skin! It just doesn't work. But I thought I could work through that and started to play with the colours. I put an eyeshadow on my lid WITHOUT a primer and it seemed a bit sheer... All of them. Then I made some coffee and looked in the mirror and the eyeshadow was creasing like crazy after only 5min. !!!!!!!!! .... And I don't have specially oily lids. I read some amazing reviews here but no-one talks about creasing? So it is fair to say that this is the biggest disappointment I have had for a very long time, some of the worst eyeshadows I have tried and they crease. *tears*

Conditioner -The Body Shop - Rainforest Radiance Detangling Spray

So..... This pretty much does NOTHING for your hair, so save your money. The smell is so strong and overpowering that I get crazy headaces and I feel sick and washed my hair again. I had to throw this away with the shampoo and conditioner from the Radiance line. However, the Rainforest Shine products are better since the smell is not as strong. These shampoos dont have silicones so your hair gets a bit tangled. I would recommend the butter or something to de-tangle but this product is awful.

Oh boy............ Sure, this smells good in the store.... Even when you get home but when you wash your hair with this and the conditioner the fragrance is so overpowering and artificial that I get crazy HEADACHE and I feel sick! So I had to throw this shampoo away, with the conditioner and the detangler!! So, if you are slightly frangrance-sensitive this is not your thing. However, as a shampoo it was good... I had to use it 2x to get a good lather and foam but it cleaned my hair really well. The conditioner does nothing and the detangler does nothing. Now Im off to use the Olive oil shine shampoo.... Not as strong scent in that one. However, I did notice with this shampoo that my hair does get really tangled up..... Probably because there are no silicones in it....

Lipstick -Shiseido - Perfect Rouge - RS701 Serenity

Finally! My search for the perfect lipstick is over! I was looking for that pink/brown natural lipstick and I has actually found a perfect shade in the lip liners from Shisheido. So my search started for a lipstick in the same color and I was looking in all the wrong places when I should have been looking at Shisheido. So I went through all the MAC lipsticks.... Out of that I bought Creme de Nude and Faux. They are really beautiful and come close to that pink/brown shade but not 100%. So I looked at the high end brands. Chanel had none. Dior had none. Bobbi Brown's lipsticks were either too brown or too pink. I came close in finding the perfect shade in YSL nr. 10 lipstick. That is an amazing color but if your lips are tiny bit dry the YSL lipsticks will hold on to that dry flake and highlight it! (And I live in Iceland, we have now -16 degrees so my lips can be dry). So I walked over to the Shisheido counter and was going to buy that perfect lipliner (i use that over all the lips and a clear gloss over that) and started to test out the lipsticks. And there it was in all its glory! The RS701 lipstick! This is THE perfect lipstick! Color is perfect and it is really moisturizing without rubbing off within 30 min.!

Powder -Christian Dior - Diorskin Forever Flawless Fusion Compact (2011 version)

Sooooo.............................. This looked amazing in the store, the packaging is so beautiful and the color is a perfect match. So I bought this on the spot! However, I am having so much trouble trying to figure out how to apply this!! I have tried everything but it just sits on top of my skin and gets stuck in my eyebrows. It does get better when the powder melts in 30min. or some but then my face just looks oily. The other day I put this on but it looked SO powdery and there was very little coverage so I tried putting my Chanel compact on top that made things worse. Then I sprayed ALOT of MAC's Fix+ and buffed this on with my MAC 187 brush and then my face did appear flawless. HOWEVER, I now know that this breaks my out bad and I feel as if my face if drowning in silicones when wearing this, like my skin can't breathe....

EDIT: This broke me out BAD... i didnt realize it until 3 weeks later... But first after using this my skin was tight and glowing for about 24 hours... Then the acne came! I thought it was everything else but this product... But when I finally stopped using this my skin got waaaay better! Original review: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wow! My face has it all: Oily, acne-prone, dry.... Name it! These days I was breaking out like crazy but now its healing but there was some dirt stuck in the pores and under my skin. So I bought this and it was a pure joy using it. However, it can take some time getting the scrub off and yes, the lemon strip stings like hell but it is so worth it! My face was so even and glowing after this and the morning after I could extract all my pimples and many of my blackheads were gone! Amazing!

Edit: Hmm.... Now I find this to be too orange so I cant contour with this... But it does give a nice, overall healthy look.... Original review: This is by far the best bronzer I have used! I was trying to find something at Dior, Chanel, Bobbi Brown etc. and nothing worked for my super cool and light skin.... Everything was too yellow or too dark. Then I went to the good old Body Shop and found this beautiful bronzer! Actually, the nr.1 and nr. 2 are too light for me (a good thing for pale beauties) but you could use them straight on your skin with no foundation... Just to fresh you up before school or something..... I got shade nr. 3 and it is just amazing and natural for my fair and cool toned skin... Ah....Love it! The price is great and you get 11grams! This is my new HG!

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - HD Concealer

Edit: Still in love with this concealer! Now I have stopped using all other concealers and only use this one! Does not oxidize like Full Cover and I find this one to cover more than Full Cover and this stays on all day and never changes color! Original review: For reference, I am MAC NW15 and BB Porcelain. I have the following concealers that I compared this to: LM Secret Camouflage, all MAC concealers, Bobbi Brown blemish cover stick, Clinique airbrush concealer, YSL touche eclat and LM Undercover Pot. I LOVE THIS CONCEALER!.... What I love the most is the unique texture of this concealer. It is not too greasy (BB, MAC Studi Sculpt), not too dry (LM) and it is not runny (Clinique, YSL). I hardly use this word, love, for products but if I had to pick one concealer for the rest of my life, this would be it! This is such a multi-use product and the silicone applicator is so nice. It is soft, get the product out and you SEE WHEN THE PRODUCT IS ABOUT TO COME OUT AND COMING OUT!!! I always click too often on other click-concealers and waste product but not with this one. The colors to choose from are just amazing for my porcelain skin and this makes me pretty in seconds.... Use it under eyes, on spots, dark spots, scars, acne... name it! It conceals everything! This does not break me out. If I am in a hurry, I only use this concealer for everything and I am ready to go! This and Full Cover are by far the best concealers out there IMO!

I have oily, sensitive skin in NW-10/15. My skin is recovering after allergic reaction from Chanel's Perfection Lumiére. I swapped the Chanel one for this one from Dior. I use their new powder compact everyday and that is the best EVER! What a miracle that thing is! This foundation is also a dream come true! It even covers more than most foundations and it is not that thick. Even my mom has this foundation as well and she is 60 years old and loving it! The colors are really beautiful but I saw another reviewer saying they are not yellow enough. However, since my skin is pale and pinkish I find some of the colors TOO yellow! But in the end I found a perfect match! The scent of this foundation is a bit strong but nothing close to the crazy fragrance in the Chanel foundation. Like I said, the coverage of this foundation is really good. I have acne scars, large pores, uneven skintone (name it) and I only had to use this foundation 1 round and that was beautiful! It is so natural, the dry-down is semi-matte, it keeps oil at bay and this has to be one of the best foundations out there! Pros: 1. The finish is amazing! 2. Colors 3. Oil Control 4. The texture is lovely! It's not thick and you don't feel you have a mask on 5. Coverage 6. Doesn't break me out or give me allergic reactions. Cons: 1. The fragrance 2. Shades can be a bit yellow WINNER!

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Lip Inflation

Edit: Still madly in love with this gloss! I usually don't buy makeup at drugstores but this is the only item I buy there. I am now on my third tube and my mom even bought one and loves it! Original review: Mmmm..... This is probably the best make-up-find in years for me! It is cheap, crazy good and does what it says! 1. The color (light-pink-sparkle) is stunning and subtle! 2. The menthol in it makes my lips fuller! 3. Long-wearing but not sticky!! 4. The gloss itself makes my lips so smooth and moisturized that I feel like I belong in the VS catalog! ;) Winner all the way! Best gloss I've ever had.... Similar to the Bobbi Brown crystal gloss but just better!
