Blush -Flirt - Peek-a-Blush Sheer Powder Cheek Color in Heartthrob
Liliana_18 9/11/2005 5:53:00 PM
the color is BEAUTIFUL!! it looks like covergirl cheekers blush in pretty peach but this one has gold tones which is just gorgeous.the price is average, its not bad for a really good quality product(which is why i love flirt cosmetics) i would repurchase this again if it wasnt so sheer.but i do love it~
ive been using these for a few weeks and so far i really like them.i have very acne prone/combo skin.i found that using them everyday didnt do anything,it actually made things worse b/c it was losing its affectiveness.but when i use them every other day or a few times a week they work really good at preventing new pimples.they can be drying, but not to the point where they give me dry patches..and believe me i get bad dry patches sometimes.these were on sale for 2.50 for 90 pads at walgreens which was cool.when im lazy they work great at washing my face and removing my colorstay makeup...they sometimes sting my eyes though.they have worked on my annoying blackheads as well.overall good product and i will most likely repurchase.
WoW!!! i got this yesterday on sale for only ONE DOLLAR!! i bought in forever lavender..i think thats the name of the shade-its a shimmery/light to medium lilac.great lasting power and its easy to build the color up to get a different look.packaging is awesome-compact,twist up.i cant wait to try this in other colors!~ will repurchase
i reviewed this stuff about 3 times lol!! and my conclusion is that i dont like it very much.it feels very slick after only a few hours and i went crazy trying to find my match.i just bout revlon colorstay,so if that doesnt work i might give this a shot again just incase.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Cool Effects e/l in Iced Espresso
Liliana_18 9/7/2005 11:04:00 PM
*DEFINETELY A HIT OR MISS PRODUCT*im infatuated with this!! i bought it last winter for a buck, and i hated it then.it didnt go on evenly, barely at all for that matter.and i usually hate gel eyeliners.but during the summer months i pulled it back out and gave it another shot.i found out that sharpening it well and running it under a lighter for a few seconds helps a ton!! now im obsessed with it.i usually load on the black liner, but i find this color much more gorgeous on my brown eyes.after playing around with this stuff,it works after all! sometimes it runs, but its long lasting for me and i love it.i wish it came in a twist up or self sharpening package.
the colorstay natural line definetely is pink toned, not yellow-which is why i didnt like it.i found it to be dry on my acne prone combo skin.i HATED THE SHIMMER IN IT!! whats up with that!?!?! who wants shimmery foundation? there arent really any reviews that mention the shimmer in this stuff.its not alot, but its there.i loved the packaging howver which is why i give this lippies.for me,the coverage of this product was light almost medium.although since its from the colorstay family it does have staying power.when i bought this i also purchased the regular colorstay foundation to test them out,and for my skin and as far as what i want in a foundation-the regular one was better.this is best for people with just about any skin type thats looking for a long lasting yet light foundation with a slight 'dewy' look.
this is my first time trying a revlon foundation and SO FAR I LOVE IT! -1st of all,im 16 and have very acne prone, combination skin -im using this in nude which is just a teeny tiny bit dark for me,but when i blend it well it works out and plus the lighter shade would be too light for me. -alot of people say this stuff is thick and cakey, which is what i thought too! but its NOT at all!! as long you cleanse and moisturize well its fine. -i love that it dries fast yet blends very well.it takes just a few min. for me to apply, unlike my covergirl clean makeup which was runny and took forever. -it IS very long lasting, but the other day at school it was like 90 degrees w/ no air condition,so i was sweating.it started to rub off,but not to the point where it was a hot mess. -this stuff seems to make my blush last longer-another plus ;) -the regular price is almost 15 bucks, but when its on sale the price is even more worth it -the packaging is pretty good and theres more than 1 oz in the bottle which is cool -it didnt make me as oily as i would be with my CG makeup.one powder touch up is all i need -as long as this doesnt break me out its my HG!!!
this is my 2nd post on this and is also the THIRD time ive gone back to walgreens to exchange the color of this-i cant seem to find my match! first i tried creamy natural(too pink!) then natural buff(too dark and yellow!) then classic ivory(too white!) next im going to try nude beige.i realized the colors run VERY LIGHT so dont be afraid to try a shade u normally wouldnt! when i tried it again in clasic ivory,i wore it from about 2pm till 10pm-it was still there and i didnt even powder! however at the end of the day the color was slowly starting to fade, but it lasted waaaaay longer than what i was using before.i dont know if its gonna break me out(which im really scared of) but ill update again in a few weeks.i liked how i didnt need alot of product to cover my zits and bumps.also,it was blendable but not too runny like my Covergirl clean makeup which takes FOREVER to apply.my sister uses this in nude beige and she had a hard time finding her shade as well, however she really likes this stuff.the only reason i would stop using this is if it breaks me out, other than that so far so good! (until i finally find my match lol)
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad - Sheerly Nudes
Liliana_18 8/20/2005 2:48:00 PM
i bought this last winter when i saw it on clearance for a $1.i would give this a lower rating b/c the colors BARELY show up on my lids, but i really like the seashell color even though it could use some more pigment.the dollar i paid for this is worth it for the seashell color.i would not repurchase
im not too sure about this product yet bcuz i havent worn it like i would my regular foundation.i have acne prone combination skin and i ve been using covergirl clean makeup in classic ivory for a year.it would be my HG if lasted more than 4 hours.ive been a little scared to try anything else thinking that it would break me out.im having a hard time finding the right shade of thsi stuff b/c classic ivory seemed too light, creamy natural too pink, and natural buff a little too dark.i ended up buying the creamy natural and when i tried it on my jawline after 1/2 hour it was SOO PINK! eew! i thought i was developing a rash or something from how pink it looked.however it DID last flawlessly for 16 hours.the texture was pretty thick and maybe just a little hard to blend.the coverage is medium.later that night my sister asked me why i look darker..could it have been the foundation transforming colors??? im gonna exchange this for natural buff and give it a full test drive.ill update~
this is one of things i have mixed feelings about. i absolutely love the color of this gloss, but i HATE the shimmer in it! theres way too much and it somehow manages to end up all over my face.to me the packaging sucks b/c the gloss keeps overflowing right out of the tube causing a sticky mess.this gloss works better for me when i wear it over lipstick or a darker colored gloss, but i wouldnt repurchase it.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expertwear Eyeshadow duo "Irish Mist"
Liliana_18 8/1/2005 11:36:00 PM
for some reason maybelline eyeshadows are hit or miss for me and this e/s was a major miss! i bought this duo hoping to get the rich green color i was looking for but this was way off! it was poorly pigmented and everytime i wore it people said it looked grey not green-very disappointing for me.i even tried it wet for more color but that just made it cakey, like it wasnt cakey enough.i couldnt blend this eyeshadow at all no matter what.ive only used it a few times since i bought it and now its under my bed.
greay eyeliner! after trying it from a friend,im really starting to like this stuff. good price, good color, good staying power, easy to remove(*cough*unlike revlon*cough*) just overall a good eyeliner.and its really smooth-no tugging at all.i look forward to buying this
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Shadow - #194 Iced Out
Liliana_18 3/24/2005 10:08:00 PM
love it!! i have the mega eyes creme shadow in 2 other shades and this one is my fave! just like the other ones-great staying power and 1 tube lasts at least a year.this shade makes a GREAT highlighter and i luv dabbing some on the inner corners of my eyes for a nice pop.
i have this in clear and overall its a good gloss.even though its thick n goopy,it didnt feel nasty on my lips compared to the feeling i get from other thick glosses.i wanna try this in other colors, but havent brought myself to it.i took off a lippy cuz the gloss kept overflowing right outta the tube and kept making a sticky mess.
