I am an esthetician and don't normally advocate drug store acne products but I grabbed these pads as a last resort to a bad breakout that I just couldn't seem to clear with the spa line I use... I did notice a difference within a few days, it has drastically cleared the breakout (it is gone now) and I no longer feel little bumps under my skin or any new pimples waiting to surface. I use this daily - I was using morning and night but now i just use at night as preventative measures since my skin has cleared. *It was rather drying at first but that is because it was sloughing off all the dead skin that was clogging my pores. This also works great for back-acne as well, I also use it nightly as preventative measures. I will absolutely repurchase and save myself mega $ since discovering it works better than the higher end products out there. I only give 4 lippies because it doesn't like the ingredients other than salicylic acid - I wish i knew what I was putting on my face.

Concealers -Cover Girl - Covergirl & Olay Concealer Balm

Not impressed, was too creamy & has no staying power - blends away into nothing and has no coverage. Despite the silky creaminess it somehow did not make my eyes look younger or moisturized at all, if anything it highlighted any dry areas around my eyes. I would have returned this product if i could find the receipt, instead i just threw it in the garbage knowing that i would never ever use it again.

Mascara -Rimmel - Scandal Eyes

I bought this because it was on sale and it was a bit of an impulse buy - I am not sure why but I became a mascara snob and was only buying expensive high end brands because i thought they were better (and they were better, looked more natural) but i digress... I was really impressed, I like that fat brush and i only need to put one coat to have my lashes fuller covered and looking much fuller/thicker and longer - I don't have issues with it clumping or not going on smooth, i just make sure that there are no gloopy parts in the brush before applying. I didn't get the waterproof one but it lasts all day for the most part, there is a little flaking sometimes but no smudging or running. It comes off with easily with eye makeup remover.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Dermaglow Radiance Glycolic 10% Gentle Peel Solution

I am a fan of glycolic products, they are great for resurfacing the skin & I really like that this one came as a toner since i have other creams that i prefer to use for day/night. This has helped stop and prevent breakouts (due to the exfoliating nature of the product) and i use it everyday without having irritation. It has helped fade old pimple scars and is evening out my skintone and making me look quite radiant. It is expensive but not considering that it is medical spa quality and has great results.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I bought this because I friend recommended it and said it had excellent coverage (she told me she had it on oneday when I complimented her skin). This is a full coverage foundation so it is great if you are needing to cover a break out, far too heavy for everyday use. I actually used it on a night that i had to wear a strapless dress but had a few spots on my back, it made my back looks flawless and i just set it with mineral powder. I think it is too expensive and i don't like the pump bottle - when i opened the package so much was spilled from pressure causing the foundation to leak out the top, not good. I also wasn't able to get my exact shade since it was sold out and i am impatient so i got the next shade up - it actually blended well enough that I didn't have lines - which is good! I like having it, knowing that if i need some major coverage it is there.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Pink Label

I bought this product after all the rave reviews on MA & I sure am glad I did, this is my HG bb cream, far superior to all the north american drug store bb creams that have been coming out that are pale in comparison (which being a product junkie I have tried). This blends in with my fair skin perfectly without taking away or adding any color, I can easily put additional makeup on top and it acts like a primer. It makes my makeup last all day, evens out my skin tone and does not make me greasy at all, if anything - it controls the shine without over drying. Anytime i wear it I get compliments on my skin (my skin isn't the greatest and i do get occasional break outs but everyone thinks it is perfect when I wear this). I get it from ebay for $15 directly from asia - just make sure it is from a reputable seller because apparently there are fakes out there. UPDATE: I discovered that this product does in face break me out, my skin has cleared skin i stopped using it. This makes me sad because the coverage is perfect. I will only use it sparingly now, but not daily... so I will not repurchase and removed 2 lippies from my original 5

Bronzers -St.Tropez - Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

This is my HG of self tanners! I am very pale naturally and have a hard time finding a self tanner that gives me a believable looking tan. I like how this one creates a full tan within a few hours without making me orange or streaky (looks like you have just come back from a tropical vacation but can be controlled by washing it off sooner before the full tan develops if you want more of a sun kissed look). It looks so real that friends have asked me if I have been going to a tanning bed (it isn't exactly sunny where I am this time of year so that tan at this time is a little out of place, lol) but when I said it was a self tanner no one believed me because it looks SO real and have all been asking me what brand I used so they can go buy it. The only annoying part is that you cannot apply with your hands, it absorbs too quickly and cannot be spread so to apply to your body you need to buy the application glove and to apply to your face you need to use a makeup sponge.

This was no miracle product for me and I bought the 16+ It does nothing for my pimples, cuts, scrapes, scabs - did not speed healing or help clear an infection that I had. I give it 2 lippies because it is good for reducing inflammation (if i pick and make a pimple angry it helps take the red out and bring it back to how it looked before) BUT it does not make it heal faster, or become more "pop"able or anything else like that. If anything I think I break out worse when I use it as a face mask, worse as in deep cystic zits.

Concealers -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Spot Concealer

This is my HG of concealers! The covergae is so amazing, makes pimples dissapear before your eyes and holds all day. I do feel that it drastically does increase the rate of which my pimples heal as well. The only con is that (since it is drying) sometimes my pimple will get a big flakey patch on top (but that is only because it has miraculously healed within a day and if you flake it off the pimple is gone and it is just a light pink mark underneath)... so it is worth it to me if that happens sometimes. *Do not use this as under eye concealer, it is for pimples or acne prone areas only*

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium

I bought this since BB creams are all the rage (and a friend on Facebook posted about how much she loves this one) so I thought I would try it out. After one day of use, I would not call it a "BB" cream - it does not minimize my pores or soften any fine lines. The coverage is the same as a tinted mositurizer so all my freckles and most pimple marks do show through and need additional cover up. What I will say about this cream (as I analyze my face in a compact mirror in sunlight) is that it blends in flawlessly, works well as a primer and doesn't leave me feeling greasy or dry. I will continue to use until I can get my hands on Marcelle's BB cream and then it will get chucked into my product junkie drawer. UPDATE: I am growing more fond of this cream, the coverage is actually better than just a tinted moisturizer and really gives me a healthy glow, I have noticed I look much better with it than without it (this is also my first bb cream)... I bumped it from 3 to 4 lippies. 2nd UPDATE: Had to throw out, it started to oxidize and would not longer blend, turned me orange :( bumped back down to 3 lippies, I guess I just didn't use it up fast enough.

Clearly the people rating this didn't do a patch test - I did! I went from blond to brown, which was the plan and it turned out the exact colour on the box within 10 min... no problems at all. I am glad this is a demi in case I don't adjust to being brown it supposedly washes out after 28 washes. Smells fine, hair feels good - would purchase again.

Treatments (Eye) -StriVectin - SD Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles

I have mixed feelings about this product. At first it makes the under eye area look worse before it gets better. The "better" is not that impressive though. It does do a good job of lightening dark circles but I don't find it does anything for fine lines. It is moisturizing and absorbed well. I bought this because it was on sale for $30 and it normally retails for about $80. I would never repurchase at that price because there is nothing special about this eye cream and I will try something else when I run out. EDIT: Originally gave 3 lippies, have now rated 5! I had to come back to say that the more you use this eye cream the better the results get (it actually says that on the package too, lol- but I am more of an instant results type person so I rated too hastily) but it is TRUE.... After continued use (about 2 months now, morning and night) I pretty much don't even need to wear under eye concealer anymore, no dark circles and my fine lines have vanished. I will repurchase and will even pay full price if I have to.

Unimpressed with this product - I purchased after all the great reviews only to be dissapointed. It goes on smooth and looks great at the begining but as the day goes on it starts to look dry and cakey (worse than if I had applied no concealer at all). I tried with eye cream, without eye cream, light application, heavy application AND different brushes but the outcome at the end of the day was always the same - it started to look dry and cakey which made me look older, not well rested at all. :(

This is my HG of blemish treatments. If you apply to a forming cystic pimple it stops it in its tracks! Inflammation decreases drastically within a day... it either makes the pimple heal and dissapear OR makes it poppable within a day so that it can get on the healing process. I use this all over my whole chin/jawline area every day and it works great for preventing pimples (can also be used over concealer as a spot treatment) - I pretty much never get a "breakout" anymore since using this product, I may get one (instead of 5) pimple during my menstral cycle but that it is. I have repurchased this 4 times and am not going to stop because it is so friggen great! I also recommended to my boss who gets bad breakouts from stress - she bought it and within a week of using her breakouts stopped and are healing. Anyone who suffers from pimples should buy, it is so gentle yet powerful and only costs $18.00

I LOVE this product, I use it every morning and night (it keeps breakouts at bay without drying your skin) or if you do get a pimple it heals it super quick. It is so gentle that it does not need to only be applied as a spot treatment, you can use it preventativly too.
