Primer/ Corrector -Mary Kay - Oil Mattifier
rated 5 of 5

My MK rep is not pushy at all but if I mention any skin issues - there is always a product that offers a solution. And she is always right!!! Greasy skin? Shiny face by the end of the day? This Oil Mattifier is the solution. I love it. It really works.

Cleansers -Mary Kay - TimeWise 3-in-1 cleanser N/D
rated 5 of 5

I purchased the $90 set (cleanser, moisturizer, night cream, day cream). I love the entire set. Great buy for the money because a little goes a long way and I've had this set for many months. I just got another tupe of the cleanser ($18) and it will last for at least 5 months. My skin is very sensitive and this cleanser does the job without breaking me out or leaving my skin too dry. Pleasant scent.

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Lotion
rated 3 of 5

I cannot use this everyday because it is clogging my pores. My skin is oily and prone to clogged pores so I cannot entirely blame this lotion. However, it is very thick and it is soothing, esp. after a day in the Florida sun. A little goes a long way so this will last me for quite some time.

Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Damage Care
rated 1 of 5
Lgrieco 7/22/2010 8:58:00 PM

I wanted this to work because it is dirt cheap and in the past Suave products did a good job. Not this shampoo. I have dry and damaged hair and this shampoo (and the conditioner) made my hair feel like straw. Other Suave shampoos do a good job, this one doesn't do it for me.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Fantastic Lash [DISCONTINUED]
rated 1 of 5
Lgrieco 10/15/2009 8:33:00 PM

This product is not fantastic. It got dry and caked up really fast. And it wasn't dirt cheap. I think I paid $6 for this. For a few dollars more go get a M.A.C. mascara. Weak color too.

Liquid -Clinique - Superfit Foundation [DISCONTINUED]
rated 2 of 5
Lgrieco 9/1/2009 8:44:00 PM

Did Clinique change the formula for this foundation? It used to work for me but not anymore. Once this dries on my skin it gives me a grayish look, and that is not the look I'm going after! Clinique...can you PLEASE add more options for people with dark/olive complexions????

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Plump Mascara
rated 1 of 5
Lgrieco 9/1/2009 8:40:00 PM

Wet 'n' Wild has some decent products (nail polish, eye shadows, lip glosses) but mascara is NOT one of them. I've tried a few because I can't resist buying mascara for less than $3, esp. if I'm shopping for other products in the WNW section. I'm done! Oh, spare yourself and get another brand. These mascaras are difficult to wash off and an hour into it you look like someone gave you a black eye. Ugh, not good.

Cleansers -St. Ives - Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser (all skin types)
rated 5 of 5
Lgrieco 9/1/2009 8:31:00 PM

I discovered this a few weeks ago. I saw this in my supermarket's clearance area and I purchaed it for $1.47. My skin is very sensitive, acne prone, etc.. This really works for me. In the morning I use an Olay scrub and at night I use this. This combo is working for me. This cleanser is thick and it feels like lotion. I'm surprised it hasn't caused a breakout (fingers crossed).

Concealers -Clinique - City Cover Compact concealer
rated 2 of 5
Lgrieco 6/14/2009 7:46:00 PM

This concealer only comes in two color options. I picked the darker of the two but it just isn't dark enough for my olive skin. If clinique makes foundations for darker skinned women, why can't they make concealers too? The results is an ashy gray that highlights the spots I'm trying to conceal.

Conditioner -Garnier - strength and repair conditioner
rated 5 of 5
Lgrieco 5/27/2009 2:06:00 PM

I just tried the shampoo and conditioner (strength and repair) and so far so good. These products left my hair feeling soft and smooth. I have chemically relaxed hair and I've been in the pool quite a bit so I was in need of a deep conditioning product. I also used the conditioning milk before drying my hair. My hair looks and feels great.

Deodorants -Tom's of Maine - Natural Deodorant
rated 1 of 5

I don't mind paying more money for a good product. This really doesn't work for me, especially not in Florida during the summer. I understand that it isn't supposed to keep you dry, but the product just sits on my skin and it is sticky and uncomfortable. I'm glad it works for others, but it just doesn't do it for me. Will not purchase again.

Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Sleek and Shine Weightless Anti-Frizz Serum
rated 4 of 5
Lgrieco 8/2/2008 7:02:00 AM

I can see where some reviewers thought this was way too greasy. My hair is very thick and dry, so it needs as much moisture as it can possibly get. I use a curling iron everyday so this product is perfect for me. I took 1 point off for the smell. It is very strong.

Cleansers -Garden of Wisdom - Lemongrass Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
Lgrieco 4/16/2008 10:36:00 AM

GREAT product. If you are into natural products and you don't want to spend tons of money, then go on this company's website. It took a long time for me to get my products, but it was worth the wait. This stuff has a funky texture. A little goes a long way. I created my own "3 step" by using this followed by one of their fruit sprays, and then a light oil moisturizer. Me, with my acne prone, oily face - using a light oil moisturizer! It is working.

Tinted Moisturizer -Mary Kay - Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 20
rated 5 of 5
Lgrieco 4/16/2008 10:33:00 AM

This is my first MK product and I love it. I have sensitive skin and sometimes I break out when I try a new product. So far - no breakouts. It gives me better coverage than Clinique's tinted moisturizer. I am using Beige 2 and it looks very natural, but does a great job of covering some of the uneven areas. It feels light. Someone commented about the smell, yes, it smells a little bit like sunscreen. It doens't bother me.
