Lip Gloss -Clinique - Color Surge Impossibly Glossy in Camisole
rated 4 of 5

Oh, how I wish my cat didn't think that this was her toy to be played around with. Needless to say, she punctured it beyond repair, so I had to throw it out. How's that for proof that the packaging isn't great? But then again, I'm not a fan of these tuby packaged lip glosses anyway - I much prefer ones with built-in lip liner brushes. They just work so much better than the lil spongy ones and the ones that the lil tuby ones do. Too bad I had to throw my old one away, cuz I really liked it, it was practically full still and afterwards, I wanted to buy it again, but I can't find it anymore. Maybe I should try eBay...

Moisturizers -Clinique - City block Sheer SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 12:17:00 PM

I like how they use titanium dioxide as the SPF factor thingy. I really do not like how it leaves my face a little shinier than I'd like it to be, but other than that, it's great and I like it a lot and would repurchase. :)

Oh! I love this! I lost my old one and I really need to get another one soon. I used other stuff for a while and before this, but this is definitely my FAVE lip moisturizing thing. Too bad there's no SPF >< I've love it even more with SPF.

Skincare - Face -Clinique - 3 Step System
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 12:03:00 PM

It's probably the best system that I've used. I was on the step 3, so I used the bar soap for oily skin, clarifying number 3 lotion/toner and the ddmg. I'm really really hoping that they'll be able to make the bar soap into a foaming one, or at least a liquid one that's not so friggin' expensive for oily skin. If they do that, I'll likely go back to the line, as it kept my face pimple free for a long time (other than when I used the exfoliator, then some will come up). The toner is still my favourite one EVER, as it kept my skin all nice and clean and pimple free. The moisturizer was perfect for me over the summer months, but not moisturizing enough during the winter months, so I'd have to reapply a few times during the day (not fun to carry a glass bottle with a pump around, so packaging kinda sucks for travelling). The bar of soap lasted FOREVER, but the moisturizer's kinda expensive, so it balances out the price.

Eye Primer -Clinique - Touch Base For Eyes
rated 3 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:56:00 AM

I love Clinique, but it dried out too quickly. For a product that dries out this quickly, maybe the packaging should be changed? Just a thought. Also, it did not help with the creasing of eye shadows. my eye makeup still pretty much melted by midday, so it doesn't seem to be something that I need to put on my eyelids on top of shadow.

Scrubs -Clinique - Exfoliating Scrub
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:53:00 AM

I really like the exfoliator. I've always been afraid of exfoliators because of what it can do to skin if you already have pimples on your face and that's generally how it was for me for a long time. However, after a year of not having pimples, I got over my fear and purchased this. It is so so very nice. It makes my skin really soft right afterwards that I just cannot stop touching it (I know, very bad ><). I DO break out a bit afterwards though, so that's why I'm not giving it a full 5 lippie. I'm just thinking that it's getting rid of all the crap in my pores so that's why I break out a bit afterwards. It's not a big break out or anything, so it's alright - especially since it's becoming less common.

Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #3
rated 5 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:47:00 AM

I like this. It's one of the best toners I've used, especially since it helped keep all my pimples away. I've actually never seen the ones with the pump, but I like the small bottle ones fine without the pump. I didn't get any stinging sensation, just a little tingle when I first started using it and everytime I stopped using it and then later went back to it. It always got rid of all the dead skin on my face, so that's a definite plus.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover
rated 3 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:37:00 AM

It leaves an oily film after you've used it and it does take a lot of the product for it to get rid of all the makeup. My face is oily enough as is, so I really don't need the extra oil. I'll probably stick to Avon or use Clinique's other one which doesn't leave an oily film behind.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:35:00 AM

It left that funny sheen on my face too. And because my skin gets fairly oily during summer, especially my t-zone, it was really nice in the summer. But like another reviewer said, I can do without the sheen =I love how they made a giant bottle but it would've been nice if they had it in a tube so I can carry the moisturizer around or at least it'd be easier to travel with. It's a little pricy though and I'd much rather spend $12 on the Avon True Pore-Fection Oil-Free Lotion than to spend $31 on this one.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:31:00 AM

It was nice and darken my lashes, and pretty natural looking. The brush is quite nice and doesn't make the lashes clump much. The formula wasn't too thick, so that was really nice. Plus it actually dried fairly quickly, so I'd use it again.

Liquid -Clinique - Superfit Foundation [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
Lexlii 6/12/2008 11:29:00 AM

I'm not sure why, but my face actually is more shiny when I wear this. I have to wear powder to make myself not so shiny and since it doesn't have SPF, I wouldn't purchase it again. The color did match really well for me (I forget which one I am) and it was really easy to put on. The packaging was a little annoying though because sometimes the foundation would spill into the cap, making the opening covered with foundation. I think I will try something else though, since I really don't like the idea of putting another layer of makeup on my face over the foundation and blush. FYI, it works even better when you mix it with a moisturizer.

Cleansers -Clinique - Facial Soap for Oily Skin
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/11/2008 5:51:00 PM

I love love this soap. If they can magically make it into a foaming cleanser, I'd go back to it. I was on the Step 3 system because I have combo-veering-onto-oily-in-the-warmer-months skin and just wanted a change, so I did. When on the program, I rarely ever had a pimple at ALL (which is HUGE for me, who lived with pepperoni face for practically all of my teen years). I'm contemplating going back to the system if I cannot find a good foaming cleanser. The bar will last you practically a whole year with daily 2x a day washing, so it's practically dirt cheap.

Eye Makeup Remover -Avon - Eye Makeup Remover
rated 5 of 5
Lexlii 6/11/2008 1:58:00 PM

I'm surprised with the bad reviews also. It's great. I love how I can just put a dab on my finger and then rub it all over my eyelids and over my eyes to get rid of my mascara, eyeliner and shadow pretty quickly. Of course, you gotta wipe the stuff off with a tissue or cotton pad, but it's so great that you don't have to tug at the sensitive skin around your eyes to get rid of your eye makeup (finally). Be careful not to poke it into your eye though cuz it stings (whoops, clumsy me). It's not as greasy as the waterproof eye makeup removers that I've tried in the past. My eye area just feels like it's been moisturized after wiping away my eye makeup, rather than greasy or anything of the like. Plus, I only got it for $1.99 online for the bottle. Where else are you going to get such a deal on something that actually works???? Definitely going to buy more of it when I start to run out.

Toners -Avon - True Pore-Fection Skin Refining Toner [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/11/2008 1:53:00 PM

I do like this toner. It makes my skin feels all nice and not too tight (did at first, but I guess my skin got used to it after a couple of uses). As someone else who mentioned it, the smell is a little off but it's not even noticeable after putting on a moisturizer. Again, I think it will be discontinued (according to this AVON customer rep I spoke to on the phone about a month ago) and if they do, I hope they'll come out with something just as good if not better to replace it. :)

Moisturizers -Avon - True Pore-Fection Oil-Free Skin-Clearing Lotion
rated 4 of 5
Lexlii 6/11/2008 1:49:00 PM

I love this moisturizer. Almost all moisturizers out there make me feel oily after putting it on, but this totally does not. It also keeps my skin a lil less oilier during the day, which I LOVE. I only use this at night though, since I need the SPF in the morning. If they had SPF in this, I'd love it even more and it'd be the only moisturizer going on that face of mine. I so hope they do not discontinue this product, as they did with the True Pore-Fection mask. >_< The only thing why I didn't give it a 5 was the packaging. It's so pretty and everything, EXCEPT that since I only use it once every 24 hours or so, the little bit at the end of the pump gets all dried up and that's just something that irks me to no end. Maybe if there was a little lid/cap the way Mary Kay's Microdermabrasion Serum does...
