Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm
LexAndTheCity 5/31/2012 7:00:00 AM
I've bought 2 (different ones) now. They're inexpensive, they go on a little thicker than I think a lip balm should, but I probably apply excessively. Would buy again and they smell yummy and taste alright too (because lets face it, you end up eating a little or accidently licking your lips for one reason or another).

Polishes -OPI - Pinking of you
LexAndTheCity 5/31/2012 6:54:00 AM
This is perfect for girls with pale skin... and when I say that, I am ghost white. It's much less pink than the picture above suggests. With base coat and top coat, 3 thin, even layers, it's quite opaque. I think a lot of people blame the polish when it's actually them who need to learn how to paint their nails to make it not streaky.

The perfect white for a french mani (I use it with pinking of you). It's not too harsh, but it's definetely a very clean white. I've had it on for two days and it hasn't chipped at all.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner
LexAndTheCity 8/12/2011 2:01:00 AM
I'm pretty well in love. I used to use the more expensive brand names, then went to MAC (still not inexpensive, but less pricey than others) but this eyeliner, for it's cost $16AU, I'm really happy. I found other gel eye liners just smudge off and don't last a whole day, this one I can even lightly rub it with my finger and it doesn't move. It's easy to apply and I love that it came with a brush. I just wish the pot was bigger!

Lipstick -MAC - Russian Red
LexAndTheCity 7/31/2011 8:04:00 PM
This is the perfect red. It works on cool and warm skin tones, looks good when I'm super pale or a little bit tan. The matte finish makes it not too over the top, just classic and beautiful. I would probably lean away from it as a day time colour, but I guess that all depends on what you're into. It can bleed and be a bit drying but a little bit of lip balm and well prepped lips help a lot with that.

Lipstick -MAC - Amplified Creme - Girl About Town
LexAndTheCity 7/31/2011 7:38:00 PM
Long lasting, lasted almost my whole formal/prom (which included plenty of eating and drinking). Super high pigment colour, looks brilliant against pale skin. This is my go to lippy when I want something that's bright but not red.

Polishes -OPI - Austin-tatious Turquoise
LexAndTheCity 7/27/2011 4:18:00 AM
Love it! It's the perfect turquoise. green in some lights and more blue in others. It took me about 4 very thin coats to be happy with it, but it's a rather thin polish itself. The shimmer obviously means it has staying power, but I really put my nails through the works and it's still on barely chipped after 3-4 days. Looks good on my super pale skin but I think it'll look good come summer with a bit of a tan.

Polishes -OPI - Planks a Lot
LexAndTheCity 7/11/2011 7:00:00 PM
Not quite as bright lavender as a lot of the pictures on the internet indicate, definetely has a gray tone to it. Goes on thin so it dries fast, two coats and it's opaque. I actually really like it against my pale skin.

Polishes -OPI - Stranger Tides
LexAndTheCity 7/11/2011 6:56:00 PM
Sea foam green, my pale skin makes it look super grey, I don't really love it, but as a neutral colour that you could wear for everyday that's a little bit different it's not so bad.

Polishes -OPI - Sparrow Me The Drama

Two coats and it's completely opaque. Not quite a Barbie pink but I wouldn't say it looks dusty at all with my super pale skin and it's not over the top because it doesn't have shimmer. A pretty every day type of shade.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Sakura Bath Ballistic

I like this bath bomb. The smell is subtle and it actually smells like cherry blossom, it also turned the bath a pretty pink colour. Got a couple bath's out of the bomb.

Shampoo -Palmers - Coconut Oil Shampoo
LexAndTheCity 7/8/2011 2:01:00 AM
I like that this product is light and doesn't weigh my hair down (which I find important for my curls) and the bottle seems to be never ending. Perfect summer shampoo for washing hair more frequently. Smells delicious.

Moisturizers -Palmers - Night Renewal Cream
LexAndTheCity 7/8/2011 1:59:00 AM
I recommend this product. I don't personally find the smell offending, I find that the thick nature of the cream means I use less but it still has that creamy texture that Palmers products tend to have. Soaks in well and my skin feels nice after.

Cleansers -Palmers - Gentle Daily Cleanser
LexAndTheCity 7/8/2011 1:55:00 AM
I like this product. It is very thick, but I use less because of that and still get the effect of using double the amount of a thinner product. It doesn't feel thick once it combines with water and it works up quite a lather. It's not drying, it smells nice and it's relatively inexpensive. Definetely recomend.

Self Tanners -Palmers - Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Moisturizer
LexAndTheCity 7/8/2011 1:52:00 AM
I like this product and I will often combine it with another tanning lotion (makes for the perfect colour) so it's a bit gentler/moisturising and not as harsh/fake looking than just using fake tanner. It smells pretty good. Brilliant in summer but I find that used on it's own in winter however, if I get cold (being so white) it takes on a bit of a jaundice yellow colour on my skin.
