I LOVE this color! I have been searching for the perfect shade of cream blue and this is it! Essie Butler Please is similar, but it's more electric/neon and it has absolutely no staying power. I haven't tried Sally Hansen's Pacific Blue, but it's close to this as well. At first, this color looks very vibrant, but by the second day, it dies down to the color listed in the description as a "cornflower blue". It's really pretty and I love it. I seems like it will last at least 4 or 5 days without chipping. If you are looking for this shade, I would go with Nails Inc. It seems to be the best one out there.
This lipstick is pretty, but it's not the best lipstick I have. I thought this was going to be a pretty blue-based cranberry red but it looks more pink/red than anything. It's still a lovely color though. I'm not in love with the formula either. It seems very light and doesn't stay put after you apply it. I normally wear a lip liner with it but it still goes all over my lips and I am constantly "fixing" it. The lasting power is not that great either. The lady at Sephora told me that they crushed a million wine grapes to make the color or something like that. Wonderful. I don't think I'll repurchase this brand.

I love these! I once had a glycolic mask at the spa and my skin came out flawless. I was looking for a product that would produce the same results. This is the closest thing that I have found that would do that. Although the results are not immediate for completely flawless skin, it does start working with its first use. My skin is much clearer and smoother. It also seems to shrink my pores. I love this stuff. I can't tell if my blemishes have disappeared yet since it's only been two weeks, but I upgraded my entire skin care product line and this one will be a staple unless I discover something better. I think it works better than the Origins brightening pads by far- and they're cheaper. I would recommend this, especially if you are trying to even out your skin tone and want smooth skin.
I read the reviews, but I had to have this color because it was so beautiful. This polish lasted less than a day on me and began chipping the same day I applied it. Too bad, it really is stunning. I just bought Nails Inc. Baker Street and I love it- and it lasts! The color of Baker Street is a little different than Butler Please, but it looks just as nice. This is the worst Essie polish I own. :(
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick!!!!! I have been looking for the perfect shade of fire orange that would look good on my complexion. This is it! I don't even need to use lip liner. It looks so great and right on trend. This is a classic shade that I will wear for years and years. This is my first Hourglass purchase and I will definitely buy more products from them. I absolutely love the packaging too! I even love the way the lipstick is shaped. It's worth the price for the quality and the years it took me to find it. Everything about this is a win! Update: I still love using this lipstick. For reference, I am NW43 in MAC and Chestnut shade in Chanel foundation. Raven is really stunning. I want to get Icon as well.
Moisturizers -Boots - No 7 Protect & Perfect night cream

I actually like this! I was very skeptical about giving this a try, but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think anything of it until I started getting compliments on my skin. The consistency is rich enough for a night cream, but not too heavy that it can't be worn in the day. All you have to do is put an extra layer of sunscreen if you are outdoors. If you take care of your skin, i.e. exfoliate, do a detox mask weekly, etc., then this product will keep your skin looking fresh. My skin was smooth and glowing after I used it. It smells nice and light. I have been using this for over one month, night and day, and I am half-way through the jar. More expensive and heavier creams will last longer, but for $20, this isn't a bad deal and it works. My mom told me that Dr. Oz says this stuff works just as good as the expensive creams... *UPDATE 12/18/12: I bought another jar of this, even though my first jar is completely finished. I forgot to mention before that the packaging is different than what is pictured above. The jar is a blue color and the top is a metallic grey color. It's still working well for me and I can see the difference when I don't use it. **UPDATE 5/15/2013: After using three jars of this, I can definitively say that it really doesn't do much for anti-aging or skin care. I would only use this if you are just looking for a cream to moisturize and nothing more. My skin looked horrible two weeks ago and I didn't even notice until I started using my Estee Lauder products again. Now my skin is dramatically different and everyone has been complimenting me. Ironically, it was my mother who bought the more expensive products for me to start using again. She no longer uses this product either. If you are serious about your skin and taking care of it (clearing it up, anti-aging, etc.), I would not recommend this product. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.
Lotions/ Creams -Boots - No 7 Protect & Perfect Protection Hand Cream
Leslie2877 11/16/2012 3:12:00 PM
I got this because my hands were looking a little less smooth and vivacious as they once had. I have the Protect and Protect Protection Overnight Hand Treatment cream. It smells horrible. I had hoped to wear it all day and night to really see the effects, but my hands only look better with it on (which would happen with any heavy cream moisturizer). I can't walk around with the smell all day, so I usually only use it at night. I have been using it for over a month now and I really don't see any difference. I may have to try a different brand or try using shea butter, olive oil and vitamin e. The search continues! UPDATE 5/15/2013: This stuff does absolutely nothing that normal lotion doesn't do. Don't waste your money.
Lipstick -Make Up For Ever - Rouge Artist Intense #15

I LOVE this lipstick. The color is amazing! It fits right in with the purple trend right now, but it's not your ordinary purple lipstick. It has a magenta feel to it, but it definitely like a blue purple- without being iridescent. My skin tone is Mac NW43 and it will look awesome on all girls with a little color.

These are pretty good. I can see a difference in the clarity and smoothness in my face when I use them. They aren't that strong though, so it will take awhile to see results. I'm on the fence about whether I want to try something with a stronger concentration or just stick to this. I only use them about once or twice a week, but I think you can use them more often and it should be fine.
Sorry, there were chips ahead. I had high hopes for this. I knew that it probably wouldn't last 10 days, but I was hoping for at least 7. Well, I made it to day 3. The formula is very thin, but I didn't find that it took long to dry at all. I applied a coat across the tips of my nails and then a thin coat. It took the average time to dry. It seemed like it would work, but alas, one of my nails started chipping today. Also, it doesn't provide a strong shine like Out the Door or Wet as Nails does. I wonder if I can take it back...
Treatments -Origins - Brighter by Nature Skin Tone Correcting Serum
Leslie2877 8/15/2012 1:03:00 AM
At first, I thought this wasn't working, but it really does. I noticed that some dark spots on my face are barely there anymore. I don't think it has prevented new pimples from showing up every now and then, but I have used it in conjunction with the pads and I am pleased with the results so far. It's not the strongest formula, so it does take awhile to see a difference. I had a pimple smack dab in the middle of my nose that left a little dark spot and I used the pads and the serum and it was completely gone two days later. That made me a believer. I think I'll add the cream to the mix with the SPF because I live in a hot climate and I think the sun probably makes the spots darker and creates new ones. If you want immediate results, you should probably go to the spa and get a facial then get a glycolic mask veil. I had that before and my face was crystal clear after the very same day. So, I guess this is good for in between treatments. Otherwise, you'll be waiting months for your spots to completely vanish.
I love this polish! The color is so pretty. It is like a periwinkle glitter. It's a companion shade of Lapiz of Luxury, only darker. I put it on top of Loreal's Stroke of Midnight and it looks beautiful.
This did absolutely nothing. I put in on thinking that my face would be matte, but it looks exactly the same. If you are looking for a really good matte product, try Medi-Matte. That's what I should have purchased instead of this. I'm taking it back.
I absolutely LOVE this color and the way it shines, BUT it chips like crazy! It lasted maybe 2 days, and I'm being generous. I did apply a top coat as well. It didn't even last on my toes one week. I have polishes that will last a month. This is the only drawback. I don't think I did anything wrong in the application. I didn't apply a base coat, which I never do and I did use a top coat. So sad.
This product is horrible. The orange looks very neon, which is fine but I thought it would be a more true bright orange. It looks very bad in the sunlight, like a neon yellow orange- not even a cute neon orange. It does look good in the shade or in dark rooms though. On top of all this, the polish is thin and streaks like crazy. I spent 2 hours trying to get it just right and it still didn't come out neatly. Today is day 2 and guess what? It's already chipping!!! I wish I had the receipt so I could return this. Hands down, the worse polish I have ever owned or used. :(
