Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Length Mascara

Oh my! I am probably the pickiest mascara person out there, and I bought this just to get me by at the office one afternoon. After using the first time, I LOVED it! No clumps and smooth definition, and for less than 3 bucks! I now have a tube at home AND at the office! The only downside is that it does dry out a little quicker, but for the price, it is still a great deal. I am so glad I accidentally came across this product!

Powder -BeneFit Cosmetics - Get Even #1

I've been really impressed with this powder. I was looking for a simple powder only for touch-ups/blotting during the day, as I don't put powder over my foundation in the morning. I was having a difficult time finding something that was not as heavy as a foundation and that would not be uber-expensive. The Sephora associate recommended this Benefit product for my pale skin that does have some red splotches. She dusted some over my T-zone with a brush (instead of the sponge), and it looked great. I've been very pleased with it. After I blot with an oil-absorbing sheet in the afternoon, I just do a quick touch-up with this, and my make-up looks good as new. I do use a brush instead of the sponge, and I feel that makes a difference. I'm not crazy about the packaging. The compact in general can be difficult to open, and I would prefer a separate section (underneath) to store my brush (or sponge).

Eye Shadow -Christian Dior - 409 Tropical Light

I think these shadows are beautiful. They are quite irridescent, but i like them! I have green eyes, and this quint is perfect my eye color and skin tone. The price is outrageous for eyeshadow, but worth the splurge. I would buy it again, but if it doesn't last long, I may not! Update: these shadows are really too irridescent. I like them at first, then realized my eyes were way too shiny!!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic: Clean Definition

I LOVE this mascara. I have tried so many different ones, from Dior to Maybelline Great Lash, and this is the best for me. It lengthens and defines without clumping or flaking during the day. You can layer it on thicker for a more dramatic look, or keep it simple with one coat for a fresh long lash look that's natural. The wand is amazing and allows you to coat every little lash without making a mess. I will definitely be buying this again!

Crème -Clinique - City Base Foundation

Well, I've given this make-up 2 tries. I have oily skin, and despite being oil-free, it broke me out. :( I also had a difficult time with getting a good color match. The coverage is great, and the price is reasonable, but the break-outs were awful. I also did not like the sponge. I bought separate sponges to use. I would not buy this again. I gave it 2 chances with same results both times.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay eyeliner in Blackberry

This is my favorite eyeliner! It actually lasts all day, and does not smudge, smear or melt away. The color is also gorgeous. I have green eyes, and I think it's a great match. I think this a great liner, especially for the price.

Crème -Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation
rated 1 of 5

Yuck, I do NOT like this foundation. I have oily skin, and despite being "oil-free," this stuff slid right off my face by midday, and settled into every crease in my face. It looked so unnatural by the end of the day. And, to top it off, it costs a fortune! Don't waste your money. There are much better compact foundations out there that cost less money (like Revlon's New Complexion Compact Foundation w/spf 15, and it's oil free). The only good things I have to say about it are that it did not break me out and the packaging is nice, but that's it.

Crème -Revlon - New Complexion One-Step Compact Makeup
rated 5 of 5

After using Bobbi Brown oil-free compact foundation for years, then trying Chanel TI, Clinique City Base foundation, and Loreal True Match oil-free compact foundation, I hesitantly decided to give Revlon's version of an oil-free compact a try. Wow! I have been so surprised! I absolutely love it! The coverage is great. It blends really well. And, the color is perfect. I am always oily, and I still have to blot mid-day, but the coverage is still great and the make-up looks amazing at the end of the day. I can't say that about any of the above products. Plus, the spf and low cost are added bonuses! It hasn't broken me out so far (after 1 week), and hopefully it won't! This will definitely be my new foundation, and what a relief to not have to pay $50 for make-up anymore! :)
