Shampoo -Organix - Coconut Milk Shampoo

My hair leans on the finer side, and gets oily quickly and easily. Also, I have never dyed or colored my hair. I bought this shampoo with the conditioner, and when I read the reviews I was really worried! But, I used it anyways, it just smells so good(: After using the shampoo I did notice my hair felt a bit tangled, but my hair felt so clean! That's a major plus from me, because after using drug store shampoos my hair always seems to feel so heavy and coated and greasy. But after using this one it felt really light and clean and fresh. I recommend using the conditioner, because without it your hair will get pretty dry and tangled. After drying my hair, I was thrilled! By hair looks and feels so light and feathery and so soft and smooth. It looks really healthy, not dry at all! Also, it still smells faintly of yummy coconut(: I'm so happy this product worked for me!

I should start off by saying my hair is a bit on the fine side, and gets oily quickly and easily. Also, I have never colored my hair. Other drugstore shampoos always seem to leave my hair feeling coated and greasy and heavy, but I was out of my good stuff and needed something quick! So, I bought the shampoo and conditioner because of the glorious smell, and the fact that it didn't have sulfates! THEN I read the reviews, and was terrified of what it would do to hair. But, I carefully used it anyways, crossing my fingers. After using the shampoo, my hair felt really nice and clean but did feel a bit dry and tangled, so I thought that was a really bad sign. Then I used a dollop of the thick and creamy conditioner, and I fell in love in love. Right away I could feel it nourishing and conditioning my hair, taking out all the tangles and making it feel super smooth. I was still a bit scared that once my hair dried it wouldn't feel the same, but I was wrong! My hair feels so light and feathery, and so soft. It looks really healthy and smooth too. The delicious smell is still pleasantly lingering in my hair(: Its a few dollars more than the other drugstore shampoos, but it's much cheaper than the stuff I usually buy, and it makes my hair feel just as nice. I am so happy this conditioner and shampoo worked for me!(:

If you're committed and dedicated to getting clear skin, this product is for you. It took a few trials for me to truly use the whole system every day, twice a day, but I finally stuck to it and it's been a few months now and I am so thrilled to say my skin is clear and healthy! My dermatologist gave me this product a long while ago, along with the toner that goes with it, and a different spot treatment. They all felt really good on my skin and worked quickly and powerfully. But the only con is that it really is a pain in the butt to go through all the steps. Also, after a couple weeks my skin looked much better, but started to dry and peel. So I went out and bought a nice moisturizer, which quickly solved the problem. I love this face wash, it foams nicely and feels so nice on my skin. It gives a nice, tingly, cool, clean feeling. Thanks to this product, my skin is clear! It was well worth the money and time, and I'm so glad I found this.

ProActive.That's a nightmare I never want to think about. When I hit puberty years ago my skin paid for it, and I had tried washes and creams all over the map. I never listened to any infomercial products because its all a bunch of paid actors telling everyone how great it is. But, my cousin had used it and her skin now looks amazing. So I decided to give it a try, thinking "Wow. it might actually work!" Long story short, it didn't. My face hurt like hellfire and was as dry as lizard skin, without clearing a single zit. And I used it exactly how the lable said, reading each bottle and making sure i did it perfectly every time. I used it for a few months, too! I thought all that drying was just my skin getting used to it. I finally couldn't take it anymore, it felt like acid on my skin every time I cleaned it. So I stopped. THEN, my skin went crazy after I stopped proactive, and caused my skin to get so oily, and huge clusters of acne appeared all over my face. After that,I finally went to a dermatologist. She explained to me that proactive is made for a very specific type of acne, and for people with thicker skin. She perscribed me a face wash that works perfectly for me, and I am so thrilled to say my face is clearer than ever before. So here's my tip, if you're suffering from acne, don't trust the commercials. It's much better just to go to a doctor or dermatologist. They'll give you exactly what you need to have clear skin.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

It seems like people either love or hate this product. I started using it about a month ago, and since I never used loose powder before it took me a while to figure out exactly how to apply it for my liking. At first, like many others, I thought it was crap. It looked powdery or cakey and I was very disappointed. But I kept using it anyways because I had so much left of it, and it was pretty expensive. I then learned later that to get the full benefits of this makeup you have to apply it in a very specific way! Now, I clean my face well, put moisturizer or primer on, and then use a small amount of the concealer buffed onto my face with a good quality soft brush. For me, that works flawlessly, and looks perfect on my skin! Now it looks clear, healthy, natural, soft and smooth. And it feels very light! The coverage is buildible, and you can use however much you want. But when you use too much, then it does get cakey.I think the problem is a lot of people are looking for a whole new set of skin when they put on foundation. If you are one of those people, then this product is not for you. It covers all your little flaws and blemishes but still looks so natural, which is why I love it so much. The whole point of this makeup is to cover up your issues, while looking like you're NOT wearing makeup! Also, as for the "You can sleep in it!" quote, just because you could sleep in something, doesn't mean you should. Always wash makeup off your face before going to sleep. Another thing people seem to dislike is the lid that turns to open or close. But I love that! I like pouring the powder into the lid and seeing exactly how much makeup is going onto my face. I love this makeup! It took a little while to figure out, but now I would never turn back to any other foundation!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub

When I first started using this product, I thought it was awesome. After only a week my skin was looking clearer than ever, and felt pretty great! I kept using it, and noticed that after about two weeks it had stopped being so effective. I had little breakouts popping up and the face wash wasn't doing anything to them. My face started feeling a bit dry and the wash was stinging and burning a little. I kept using it for a bit longer, which apparently was a terrible mistake. I went to sleep, and then when I woke up I was greeted by a few very huge, very painful cystic zits on my chin and forehead, along with other new clusters of acne. It was awful, and I couldn't believe it all had happened overnight! I threw the bottle away angrily and finally decided it was time to see a dermatologist. So I think I had some weird reaction to something in the face wash. It was not a fun experience!

Moisturizers -Bare Escentuals - Purely Nourishing Moisturizer - Combination skin

I started using this after my skin started to get really dry after using a new face wash. I've never really needed to use a moisturizer before, so I wasn't sure what to look for when I went off to buy one! I found this product when a BE worker was trying out makeup products on me, and before she started she put this moisturizer on my face. Right away my skin felt so soothed and nourished. I bought it immediately and it's been amazing ever since (I don't have any other moisturizers to compare it to, but I still think its incredible). I use it in the mornings after I've cleaned my face, and my makeup goes on my skin smoother and looks so much healthier! it isn't the least bit oily on me, and my skin stays perfectly moisturized throughout the day. I've even gotten a few compliments from friends on how great my skin has been looking. Thrilled with this product!
