Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Bombshell Bath Loose Powder - Peppermint Stick

I can't believe the negative reviews on this. I will go along with the description isn't exactly on. It sort of is though. It IS actually *VERY* bright, one of the brightest pinks I've ever seen, but it is also pretty light. It's a rare thing to be captured, and since I'm so pale, I love light-brights. This is not really pale or pastel, or milky at all. It is more of a light-medium, to me. It is THE PERFECT BLUSH. It looks like ice princess ethereal, LORAC Desire up a notch (not darker, just.... ..more.... ah, just get this!), it would look awesome blended with clear gloss, and on eyes, packed on (unlike a light amount for cheeks) it gets to a more decidedly medium pink, and look brighter and darker. It looks great on eyes with a bright blue liner. This is my favorite shade of make-up, period. The ONLY gripe I have with this, is that they seem to have quality control issues with this. The very first sample of this I got eons ago, was perfect. The second one I got was slightly peacher (ever so slight, because this is a ridiculously blue toned pink, LOVE), and it was kind of more chalky and lighter. The next one I got was better than that, but was missing the touch of mauvey lilac that the first one had. But anyway, despite the slight differences, its still a HG, but I wish Fyrinnae would make it more like it was over a year ago, and stick to it. But seriously, every time I've gotten it was almost perfect.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Deluxe eyeshadow - Graffiti
rated 5 of 5

This is one of the beautiful new limited edition deluxe eyeshadows from Urban Decay, in Graffiti. The packaging is wonderful, it has a wonderful frosty - metallic - shiny texture, very soft and blendable, and also very pigmented. And it's got about twice the amount of shadow in it than normal eyeshadows. This one is very shimmery (but as with all of the deluxe shadows I've tried, no glitter), and starts off sheer, but can quickly build to something very bright. This is a cross between a blue-based version (as opposed to a yellow-green) of a bright lime green and a kelly grass green. It's like a sheerer, more shimmery version of MAC Kelly Green Pro Pigment. This is my new favorite green eyeshadow, and I'm a green shadow FANATIC. If you're not extremely picky about the texture and undertones of bright colored eyeshadows, and think one of each color is enough, then investing in this might not seem unique enough to you.. but for those of us who really love bright colors, and are very sensitive to muddy brown or impure colors, or chalky dry matte textures in the true colors we can find, this one is quite unique, as it conquers all those problems you usually find in bold colored shadows.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Deluxe Eyeshadow - Peace
rated 5 of 5

This is one of the beautiful new limited edition deluxe eyeshadows from Urban Decay, in Peace. The packaging is wonderful, it has a wonderful frosty - metallic - shiny texture, very soft and blendable, and also very pigmented. And it's got about twice the amount of shadow in it than normal eyeshadows. This is an extremely vibrant, bright, true turquoise blue. I have never seen such a bright gorgeous blue. This can go on anywhere from a light wash to super bright and noticable. This is mostly a blue shade, but it has an ever ever so slight HINT of green, which makes it mermaidish. I have never ever seen such a vibrant blue/ turquoise, even in other high end lines, such as MAC. This looks fabulous with UD's new 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in electric.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Deluxe Eyeshadow - Fishnet

This is one of the beautiful new limited edition deluxe eyeshadows from Urban Decay, in Fishnet. The packaging is wonderful, it has a wonderful frosty - metallic - shiny texture, very soft and blendable, and also very pigmented. And it's got about twice the amount of shadow in it than normal eyeshadows. And I love purples. The problem, however, is that this does not go on close to the beautiful purple shade it appears in the pot. It goes on a blatant pink fuchsia with a hint of purple. On the majority of people, pink or red eyeshadow looks dreadful, and makes people look like tired albino mice people with bloodshot red eyes... a lovely look! :P This would be a nice shade for lips.. but not for eyes. Though if you're looking for an extremely vibrant fuchsia for eyes, go for it, the quality is excellent.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Blue
rated 5 of 5

There are two blue pigments, very similar, one from rebel rock that was l/e, and the original one that was discontinued. I wish this was still available! This is a beautiful, bright, medium deep rock star blue. Very shimmery, very unique. This has no green or navy or purple tones like most other bright blues (like cornflower and its odd purple tone). I love this one.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Frost
rated 5 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 1:29:00 AM

I love this. This can be mixed with pigments to make them much more shimmery / metallic and to lighten them, or it can be used as a sheer white shimmery highlighter for the brow bone for fair toned people, on top of eyeshadow to improve the texture..the list goes on and on. This is pure white, but it is not stark bright white -meaning it is not "too much" at all. Very universal. Very nice and sheer and shimmery.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Kitschmas

I didn't like this shade at all. It looked lilac in the pot, but on it looked like a completely invisible shimmery shade. There really is no point to this. You wouldn't want a sheer shade like this for use as highlighting or anything similar since it has that purple cast to it.. but its not pigmented or purple enough to be used as an eyeshadow at all. This is definitely a non-essential.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Pink Pearl

I don't like this for eyes at all, or for cheeks, but for lips, its very very very cool. This is a very rockstar bright fuchsia pink with a purple sheen. Very cool toned. Mix it with clear lipgloss, and you're good to go.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Silver Metal
rated 4 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 1:25:00 AM

This is a very finely grained pigment. Very dense...very pigmented, very metallic/shiny. It really does look like actual silver jewelery on the eyes. I'm not sure if that is a look I could pull of.. but very cool for a rock star look.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Steel Blue
rated 3 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 1:24:00 AM

This looks like a shimmery muted denim blue. I generally wear brighter, ligheter colors, and this doesn't compliment my eyes very well, but its still a unique color, and the texture is very cool. Metallic and shiny.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Vanilla
rated 5 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 1:03:00 AM

This is beautiful as an eyeshadow base, a highligher for the corner of the eyes and under the brow bone, and lots of other uses. Its an off white with shimmer and shine. It can also be mixed with pigments to lighten them. MAC doesn't have many light pigment shades, so this is essential. The only downfall is it has an ever so slight gold undertone, and sometimes it can ever so slightly clash with my cool PPP skin tone, so sometimes I prefer to use Frost.

Eye Shadow -MAC - All Pigment Powders
rated 5 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 1:01:00 AM

I'm a MAC pigment fanatic. I use them mostly for eyeshadows and highlighters, but there are also a few great shades for blushes and lips too. These have the purest, brightest, most blendable, silky textures in the world. They come in every texture imaginable... like matte, frost, shimmer, etc, and every color you could ever want, from muted to ultra bright. These are amazing, and a jar will last you a lifetime.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pink Vivid pigment
rated 5 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 12:58:00 AM

I normally hate matte eyeshadows, or pink eyeshadows, but this is so bright, so pure barbie bubble gum pink, it rocks. But, I don't use this as an eyeshadow - pigments are all purpose, and for me, this makes a beautiful blush if applied with a very light hand, or a fabulous lip color if mixed with clear gloss. Too bad its been discontinued. :(

Eye Shadow -MAC - Aquadisiac
rated 4 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 12:47:00 AM

This is a lovely light blue-green with plenty of shimmer. It goes on light, but not pastel, and still is very pigmented. This is a very clean blue-green, bright, and lovely. I would not describe this as teal, or as a blue with a green tinge. On me it is equally blue and green. It reminds me of the Carribean sea. Very pretty.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Lovely Lily Pigment
rated 1 of 5
LaurieAnne 1/25/2006 12:44:00 AM

This product is a new l/e pigment shadow with the new lingerie collection. Its supposed to be a light lilac purple, which I would love, if it were true. However, this is pastel pink, mixed with lilac, and it goes on a very unflattering pink around the eyes. If this shade was a lipstick, it would be gorgeous, but pink around the eyes hardly ever look flattering on anyone, and especially not me. It makes my eyes look bloodshot.
