I found this product looked really natural on and since it's a gel it makes the skin look healthy and dewy. I like to use this on days where I do not want to look overly done up. I gave this product a low overall rating because I found it really difficult to apply, the pigment is super sheer so I find I need to layer it but this in turn makes it difficult to blend. I will continue using the product until I am finished but will not be buying again.

I read that this product was watery but was none-the-less surprised at how watery it was. Initially I found it hard to control the amount that dispensed because of the consistency but quickly got the hang of it. I tried using this on an exfoliating mit, facecloth and with bare hands and found that I didn't need to use as much product with bare hands. The product also foamed up quite nicely (which can be an issue with some natural products). The smell was really nice, like toasted coconut. All in all a really nice product, will definitely buy again.

Loose Powders -Jurlique - Silk Dust

After reading the reviews on this product and being on an "as natural as possible/non-toxic/organic" kick I thought I would give this product a try. I have moderate cystic acne so I bought the citrus powder. In the past I depended on oil absorbing pressed powders and I typically blot my face with oil absorbing sheets at least once every one to two hours. This powder goes on smooth, evens out my skin tone and texture and does not make my face look thick and cackey (like most other powders do). Probably one of my favorite features is that you can reaply this product during the day (anyone with oily problematic skin has probably experienced the cackey mess that ensuse when you reapply most powders) and look just as fresh as you looked in the morning when you first applied your makeup. Also my makeup doesn't budge or crease. Lastly, this powders controls oil amazingly well. I can go at least 4 hours without needing to blot my face. This is an amazing product, definitely my new HG face powder, I will never use another powder again! I WISH I WOULD HAVE DISCOVERED THIS SOONER, definitely would have saved me a lot of embarassment.

Eyeliner -BeneFit Cosmetics - Eye Bright

This is a fantastic product. It goes on easily and blends nicely. The pink hue is perfect for tired eyes, I use it under my eyes along my brow bone and at the top of my cheeks. It's a truly versatile product.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

When I first started using this product I really liked it, primarily because it made applying my foundation super easy. I also really liked the texture of the product. But after awhile I just found this to be an unnecessary extra step in an already complicated makeup routine. To add in a whole other product for such little results seemed silly, especially since this product is so expensive. I also removed some points for the packaging since it was difficult to get the last bit out of the glass bottle.

I worked as a product sales person/receptionist in 3 hair salons over a 5 year period and have used a ton of different professional products and this is by far the best hair treatment I've ever come across. I used to use this 2 times weekly to deep condition my hair when it was bleach blond and curly, it always helped bring back some much needed moisture when my hair would feel dry and brittle. Just don't use this if you have overly thin hair, it would likely be much too heavy for you.

Toners -100 Percent Pure - Facial Toner Peppermint and Green Tea Refresher

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! It feels amazing on my face (it's tingly!) and I feel like my skin is super clean and balanced. I use this all over my face (even under my eyes and eyelids) with no problems. I like the smell (peperminty with a touch of teatree), it smells the way it feels, refreshing. I have moderate acne (cystic, mainly around my mouth) and typically breakout with any new product I use. Not only have I not broken out with this I think it is actually helping to clear up my acne. I've been using it with the oatmeal honey face wash (same line) and use the tinted moisturizer (same line) during the day and the tomato licopene moisturizer (same line) at night. I plan on trying a couple different night moisturizers and face washes from the same line but will definitely be sticking with this product as my toner. It lost points on packaging because I find the bottle takes some getting used to.

Skincare - Face -100 Percent Pure - Lavender Honey Facial Cleansing Lotion

This product was just ok for me. My biggest motivation for buying this was the natural ingredients used to make this wash. I liked the scent, the package and the way the product is dispensed (it comes out in a foam) but I found it sort of weird to use, it starts out as a foam and at first feel like a regular wash but once the bubble action wears off you don't really feel the product on your face, it's a little weird to get used to. I have moderate acne (primarily cystic) and have always used deep cleansing face washes or cleansing milks so I might not have the best basis for comparison. I wash my face twice with this at night when I'm taking off my makeup (I noticed it doesn't remove eye makeup the first wash). I said that I would repurchase this again because there's no maybe option! I do like the ingredients and it has really agreed with my face, my acne has been clearing up consistently and I typically break out when I first switch to a new product. But I'll probably try a couple different cleansers from this line before I settle on one. **UPDATE: I brought my bottle to the gym yesterday and it did NOT travel well. A bunch of the product spilled into the cap and the foam has started coming out all runny. Beware if you decide to lug your bottle anywhere!

Mascara -100 Percent Pure - Fruit Pigmented ultra lengthening mascara

I bought this mascara because I've recently committed to only using all natural/organic/non-toxic makeup. That said, I love the ingredients in this mascara and found it neat how it smelled like blueberries. It applied nicely and has stayed put all day without any flaking or smudging (and I've just spent the last two hours out at the park with my 1 year old daughter). But, while it works well and stays put I don't find that it outperforms other mascaras I have used in the past (my faves have always been MAC fiberlash and Clinic Long Pretty Lashes). I said that I would buy again because I am only using makeup with natural ingredients. If you are on the market for a more natural alternative I would definitely recomend, however if you are not overly concerned with ingredients and just looking for a really great mascara I think there are others out there that are superior.

Concealers -100 Percent Pure - Peach Pigmented Natural Concealer with SPF 20

My new HG concealer! I have moderate acne (cystic primarily around the mouth) with acne scarring around the mouth the hollows of my cheeks and foreheard. I don't have dark circles but apply concealer around the eyes to brighten me up a bit. I bought this primarily for covering up breakouts and scars and find it works really great for this. I use to use the MAC concealer in the pot (sorry not sure what this is called) which was quite heavy. I found the MAC concealer would get into the dry skin patches (around acne flare ups) and look flaky as the day wore on and would cause me to get oily, but this concealer although creamy in consistency is easy to apply and has really good staying power. I did find the color a tad lighter than my skin but haven't tried the next color up. I don't use the wand directly on my skin, instead I spread the product on the back of my hand and use a concealer brush to apply it under my eyes and on any pimples and scars I want to cover. To top it all off it's all natural and good for your skin!

Tinted Moisturizer -100 Percent Pure - Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer

This has reached HG status for me. I have moderate acne (cystic, concentrated around my mouth) and used to gravitate towards heavy duty foundations (Vichy normaderm was my go-to). Since I blot concealer over problem areas I thought it would be a good idea to try something lighter in coverage. I am sooo happy I did! This tinted moisturizer goes on really easy and does not get caught in my pores or in the dry areas where I am broken out. And it makes my skin glow! I put this on and blot concealer on any problem areas and finish off with a loose powder and it looks amazing! I use to use a moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation in the mornings and can now get away using this one product, it's really great! Plus I wouldn't feel ackward wearing this around the house or at camp (since it's my moisturizer and sunscreen) which is nice because I wans't comfortable wearing makeup at camp but at the same time would feel self conscious because of my bad skin. With every other foundation I've used my skin would get oily pretty quickly and would feel hot, irratated and itchy however with this product it actually feels soothed. I've noticed a decrease in oil as well (I've always thought that my skin was oily but think it might have been the heavy foundations I was applying). This is the first tinted moisturizer I've ever used so I don't have much of a basis for comparison, but if you are looking for something natural, non-irrating and no-fuss this might be a good product for you. I took off lippies for packaging since I find I need to pump a lot to get the moisturizer out of the bottle.
