Skincare - Face -Liz Earle - Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
rated 5 of 5

I love how it leaves my skin fealing clean and comfortable and not the slightest bit stripped. I ended up using the muslin cloth too vigorously the first time I used it, but once I figured out the right level of pressure, I've not had any problems with this. I've been using this most evenings for the past few weeks, and my partner and I have both noticed an improvement in my skin. I don't know if it's the Cleanse and Polish or the Alpha-H Liquid Gold, but I'll definitely keep on using the combination for as long as it works!

Moisturizers -Lumene - Vitamin C+ Nourishing Day Cream
rated 4 of 5

I received the 15ml sample size (with SPF 15) from a friend in June 2011. I used it up, and was impressed enough to buy the full-size tub of the SPF version. My skin can sometimes be sensitive to silicones, but the cream hasn't caused any adverse reactions, even though it does include some silicones. It absorbs well, doesn't feel tacky or sticky on my face and leaves my skin happy and moisturised. I live in Finland (where the company is from) so the price was also very reasonable for a good moisturiser.

Treatments -Kiehls - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
rated 3 of 5
Laululintu 6/25/2012 4:48:00 AM

I bought this serum to see if it might help reduce the acne scars on my cheeks. My scarring has faded while I used the product, but the product is a bit too pricy to be used twice a day, even though it is very concentrated. I might repurchase it at a later date, but it hasn't achieved Holy Grail status. I knocked a point off the packaging, as getting the product out of the bottle started to get tricky when the product was almost gone.

Moisturizers -Lavera - Faces Organic Wild Rose Moisturizing Cream
rated 5 of 5
Laululintu 8/26/2011 3:26:00 PM

This amazingly hydrating cream did wonders to keep my skin protected from the ravages of last winter's cold, windy weather. It provided enough moisture to keep my skin happy, but didn't leave it greasy or oily. Will definitely buy again once the weather cools down a bit.

Moisturizers -Korres - Wild Rose 24-Hour Cream
rated 4 of 5
Laululintu 8/26/2011 3:18:00 PM

This cream works really well for my combo skin that's prone to surface dryness, particularly in winter. The low SPF doesn't really bother me much, as I mainly wear it in winter (when we barely see the sun at these latitudes), or on days when I don't plan on being outside. It can be a bit pricy, but the price-effect ratio is good enough for me to justify the price tag. Also, I've used more expensive creams that don't work nearly as well.

Treatments -Korres - Wild Rose Brightening Serum
rated 4 of 5

This was the first serum-type product I've used. It makes my skin glow, and really helps tone down the scarring on my cheeks left over from a bout of cystic acne.

Lipstick -MAC - Grenadine (Slimshine)
rated 5 of 5
Laululintu 5/26/2008 8:26:00 PM

I love the way that Grenadine can be worn in several ways, depending on the occasion. My lips have a lot of pigment in them, so I can pull off Grenadine in a fairly natural way, but apply a little more, and it can look fairly dramatic. It looks amazing against my pale, mostly neutral toned, skin.

Conditioner -Korres - Achillea Conditioner for all hair types
rated 5 of 5
Laululintu 5/26/2008 8:18:00 PM

The Achillea conditioner is excellent at detangling my long, fine yet thick hair, without building up. it's a bit pricier than some products I've tried, but I wouldn't say it's expensive, given the consistently brilliant results I get with it.

Masks -Korres - Wild Rose Mask
rated 4 of 5
Laululintu 5/26/2008 8:15:00 PM

I bought the mask when my skin was looking a bit blaah from a lack of sleep, and a fair bit of stress. It manages to make my skin look bright and glowy, and makes me look like I've had 12 hours of restful sleep even if I'm feeling dead on my feet. It also does a good job at reducing redness and helps shrink imperfections.

Foundations -Youngblood - Natural Mineral Foundation
rated 2 of 5
Laululintu 1/8/2008 6:16:00 PM

I liked the coverage given by the product and the way it felt nice and light on my skin. However, it's the only product so far that has caused my face to come up in an itchy rash, so I won't be buying it.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Pied de Pepper Foot Cream
rated 4 of 5
Laululintu 3/7/2006 7:13:00 PM

Pied de Pepper does an excellent job at keeping my feet nice and smooth. If I don't moisturise my feet regularly, they turn to rhinohide, but Pied de Pepper can sort that out too (trust me, I've tried)!

Shampoo -LUSH - Rehab Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
Laululintu 12/21/2003 9:57:00 AM

I love this shampoo. It's cleasing enough to get rid of the styling products I occasionally use and yet gentle enough to keep my hair supershiny. I love it and the fresh scent is a definate bonus. I bought a 100 gram bottle of it in September and it's still going strong eventhough I use it a few times a week.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Middle Earth Turns To Rock Soap
rated 4 of 5
Laululintu 6/29/2003 7:26:00 PM

At first, I wasn't so sure how I was going to get along with the scent of Middle Earth. But then the smell grew on me and started to remind me of the smell of old books (which I think is lovely) ;) It's nice and earthy and makes my feel like a little kid again. The pumice is a nice touch as you can use it as a scrub. I'll have to make sure I have a piece of this at all times, even if only for the name. ;)
