I picked this up from walgreens for $3.49. I was hoping the color would pull some pink tones in it but on me it's mostly orange. I am very fairy and cool toned so it's not quite the right shade for me. I still use it by dabbing it on with my finger over pinkish lip balm and it looks really cute. I also dab it on my cheeks sometimes. It does have a scent, I can't really put my finger on it, but it's not really offensive. The packaging is super cheap and I'm afraid the cap will come off in my purse. Overall, I'm making use of it but would not repurchase the shade
I have been using fit me for over six months now and I will repurchase when I run out. It is exactly what I look for in a foundation: light to medium build-able coverage with a natural finish. I have mostly dry skin, so on me, this is not oily at all. I am also very fair and #110 matches my skin tone really well and that is so hard for me to find in DS foundations. I use the powder to seal it in sometimes and give it more of a matte finish. I haven't tried the concealer yet but do plan on purchasing eventually. I can imagine this would not be suitable for people with oily skin or people who need a full coverage foundation. I use it mostly just to even out my redness, and it's yellow undertones work perfectly for that.
Lipstick -Revlon - Color Burst Lipstick in 020 Baby Pink
Lanayyy 4/2/2013 9:17:00 PM
I wanted to love this color but I only like it. It shows up a bit too frosty on my lips. I don't really have a problem with it being too sheer as I've read in some other reviews, even though my lips are pretty pigmented. The formula is nice, has medium staying power, and is pretty build-able. I love the shade of pink just wish it was less frosty! Would possibly repurchase if I could not find the same shade with less frost.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Illuminance Cream Shadows in Electric Pop
Lanayyy 4/2/2013 9:09:00 PM
These cream shadows show up chalky and yet somehow greasy at the same time, crease the second after I blend em out, and melt all around my lids. The shadows as a stand alone product are pretty much useless to me even with a primer, with the exception of the white with gold shimmer color. I can use that one alone for a pretty shimmery wash over my lids and the creasing isn't as noticeable because of how light it is. I also use it as a highlight for the inner corners and sometimes even on my cheekbones, applied very lightly. The dark blue has come in handy once or twice as a base for a smokey eye but even then I didn't love the result. The lighter blue and green colors look off with my skin tone, show up very sheer and are not very build-able.
Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Last Lipcolor 905D Smokin' Hot Pink
Lanayyy 4/2/2013 7:46:00 PM
I am a fan of the Wet n Wild mega last lipcolor line. I have it in 4 or 5 colors and am itching to get more. Smokin hot pink is a raspberry toned hot pink that looks pretty applied like a stain over balm and blended out, and also as a matte full pop lip color or with gloss layered on top. I find the color wearable and versatile. The color is long lasting, I think I can go about 4-5 hours without needing a touch up. It does leave behind a slight stain.
The key to handling the formula on these lipsticks is definitely application and the condition of your lips. I like to use a clear lip liner with most matte lipsticks. I also always prep my lips with vaseline or chapstick and let it soak in for 20 minutes before applying lipcolor. I don't wear this line if my lips are chapped/flaky.
The packaging is cheap and flimsy. I have scraped the sides of the lipstick with the cap because the lipstick itself doesn't actually retract all the way down. But these are very affordable and the product itself is good enough that the flimsy packaging doesn't bother me too much.
Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Last Matte Lipstick in 901B Think Pink
Lanayyy 4/2/2013 7:28:00 PM
I love the price and matte finish of this lipstick. The color is cute but on my fair skin it washes me out a bit and tends to make my teeth look yellow. I combat this by just dabbing the color on with my finger over a pink lip balm. The formula is nice but can look chalky if applied wrong. Overall for the price (I got mine for $1!) I really can't complain! I did go back and pick up other colors (smokin hot pink, dollhouse pink & red velvet) and I was much more satisfied with the colors on those.
Lipstick -Cover Girl - lip perfection Lipstick in Embrace

The color in the tube is a very deep, rich blue based plum. However depending on the way you apply it, this lipstick ranges from a sheer vampy fuchsia, to a deep berry and finally close to- but not quite as- dark as the color it appears to be in the tube. That being said, this color can carry you from spring to winter! I have very fair, cool toned skin and this color compliments it nicely at it's varying shades. I prefer to dab it on with my finger over vaseline prepped lips. The lasting power is fair but this lipstick does leave behind a pretty stain. I don't mind it..I actually love it, but I know some of you will not like that. I have even used it as a cream blush by dabbing just a bit on the apples of my cheeks and blending out! I love the versatility of the color- I'm able to use it for sweeter girl next door looks to extremely vampy and more high fashion looks.
This is a staple for my make up bag. I like the cherry because it leaves a pink tint that brightens up my face. I've used other lip balms for chapped lips but I keep coming back to this as it works and is dirt cheap and you can pick it up pretty much anywhere!
I am on my second bottle of this. The first bottle I purchased smelled slightly different than the second, though I can't put my finger on it. That being said, I love this scent. It smells better on some than others for sure, but I happen to be one of those people it smells great on. It's super girly and romantic, yet still crisp and clean. My boyfriend says it smells like roses to him. I don't get 'cheap' off this at all and I get compliments on it all the time. I definately suggest trying this out for a day before purchasing as it doesn't work on everyone. I love the design of the bottle aesthetically, but it's not very practical and the cap tends to leak. I keep my bottle stationary and have a roller ball for on the go.
Lipstick -Cover Girl - Lip Perfection in Enchantress

I was so excited when I saw this at my local Walgreens. It's a bright blue toned barbie pink. And on my nc10 skintone, the color would have been perfect! Unfourtanetly, this lipstick is loaded with shimmer, making the color more of a frost, making me totally bummed out. But! I played around with it a bit, and found that after applying and blotting a few times I get a pretty kind of..stain almost, that looks good underneath a bubblegum pink gloss I have. That being said, I would not repurchase.
I have a love/hate relationship with this lipstick. I definately did not expect it to be so sheer! However, I like that it's sheer now. It's my go to color. I never really have much success trying to layer it on to make it more opaque, however, I can mix it with other shades (like baby pink) and it makes the color pop out more.
I am so surprised that many reviewers found this lipstick to be drying as I usually have dry, chapped lips and it's not drying to me at all! Maybe I lucked out on a good batch or something? Haha. Anyway I have very fair cool toned skin and I love this shade. I was looking for a coral lipstick and stumbled upon this. I'd say it's a little orange to be considered peach, but I still love it. I sometimes layer it under Revlons super lustrous lip gloss in coral reef and it looks amazing!! I think it may just be one of those colors that work for some and not others.
I have very fair skin and would normally be intimidated by such a bright orange color. However this gloss has exceeded my expectations! It looks great on my skin tone, the gloss applies evenly, and I can wear it alone or with lipstick underneath. (revlon colorburst lipstick in peach looks amazing paired w/ this gloss!!) It sort of brightens up my whole complexion. I love it in spring/summer, and even into fall with a dark nude/spice lipliner buffed underneath. This was my first Revlon super lustrous lipgloss purchase and I can't wait to try more shades! Definately would purchase again.
I love this lipstick! It is bold yet so wearable and looks great on lots of skin tones! I'm super fair (nc10ish) and my best friend is about a nw25 and it looks great on us both. I dab it over chapstick for a pretty stained look and apply it with a lip brush/ straight from the tube for a fun bold lip!
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Dream Angels Heavenly
Lanayyy 1/23/2012 8:40:00 PM
I got this is in a smaller size with a few other scents. This was my least favorite at first but I'm starting to like it. I usually like a more floral or fruity scent. Heavenly is not either of these. It definately smells best on me straight out of the shower and I only tend to wear it in the winter, but overall I like it. Its a nice, vanilla, soft scent that I use to switch it up every now and then.
