Cleansers -LUSH - Ultrabland

I am OBSESSED with this. Nothing (& I mean NOTHING) has made my skin glow like Ultrabland. My acne is totally gone, & my combo skin (normal oily t-zone, & super dry cheeks & chin with amazing acne) has evened out A LOT, & just in general feels much happier. I can't believe I didn't try this glorious goody sooner! A note to the reviewers who are hating on it because it doesn't wash off.... it is an oil cleanser... it CANNOT BE WASHED OFF. It has to be wiped with cotton or a facial cloth. Washing it with water is totally futile. I am using only this at night (I don't wash my face in the morning), & my skin has never been happier! LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Moisturizers -Kiss My Face - PEACHES & CREME 8% FACE & NECK ALPHA HYDROXY MOISTURIZER

I've been using this as my day cream for the last two or three weeks, & I'm really liking it so far. My skintone is more even, & my breakouts are reduced. I have also been trying some other things, so these could be resulting from those things, but this cream is certainly not making things any worse. I like the smell. I don't think it's too crazy. Plus, it goes away in a couple of mins. Overall this cream provides a good level of hydration for me in the summer, & I think I'd buy it again. It might not be heavy enough from my east coast winter skin though. I'll have to see about that.

Masks -Boscia - Luminizing Black Mask

I'm glad that I got a sample of this, and didn't pay for it. It's not that it's a bad mask, I did think it pulled some gunk out of my pores, it's just not luminizing at all. Plus, it hurt kinda a lot when I peeled it off (I have sensitive skin). Also it made me kinda red. Not horrible, but not worth the price.

Sunscreen -Kiss My Face - Face Factor-SPF30

I LOVE THIS SUNSCREEN. It's really great stuff. It's not greasy, or white. It doesn't clog my pores (I have very acne prone skin), and it protects me from the sun. I wish the spf was higher, but when this tube runs out I'm going to try the 50. (I couldn't find it, and really needed something so I bought the 30). This is my HG facial sunscreen. Love the green tea in it, for that added antioxidant boost.

Masks -Ahava - Dead Sea Essentials Chamomile Mud Mask

I said that I would buy this product again, but I'm not certain I would. It's a nice mask, has a good texture, & my skin did feel nice (soft, and more toned) afterwards, but it didn't rock my world. I'm going to keep using up the bottle to see if results improve over time. There is something of a fragrance to it... it didn't bother me, but it's quite strong. It says to leave it on for two mins, but that didn't seem long enough for me. I did five and it started to get pretty tingly toward the end. The mask doesn't dry completely, but that's fine by me. Pretty good price for the volume. I bought mine at target.

Tinted Moisturizer -Urban Decay - Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 (Halo)

I've been out of this for a while, & dissatisfied with my other foundations/tinted moisturizers. Today I thought I'd try to get the last little bits out of the bottom of this guy & see how I liked it now that my skin has changed (used to be oily & now is combo/dry sensitive). I love it!! The coverage is perfect, evens out my tone and conceals my old acne marks. Halo matches my skin perfectly. The finish is amazing (my favourite part), it's not dewy per-se but gives you a "I have lovely skin all on my own" look. I look natural and even. I'm re-obsessed! I'm going out today to buy another tube. p.s. Urban Decay is such a great company ethically (I'm a vegan) that I don't mind paying what I think is a slightly steep price for this guy. Plus, it lasts a really long time!

Moisturizers -Weleda - Almond Facial Oil

THIS IS THE BES THING EVER. I am obsessed with this. It keeps my skin calm, moisturized, & protected. I have breakout prone skin that is combo to dry at the moment. This oil soothes out my dryness, isn't greasy or too much on my more normal spots, & actually helps get rid of breakouts!!! My skin has never felt so soft & happy. I am in love. I've already purchased this a second time after using up my first bottle. I love the packaging too, it dispenses just the right amount of product for my face & neck. I wear this every day under my moisturizer, & also use it as a serum under my face masks occasionally. It's amazing. Nothing would help my skin this winter & I was going crazy, but Weleda saved the day again!! It's a little expensive, but worth every single pretty penny. I love Weleda's ethical & biodynamic practices as well, so I'm more than willing to pay a little more for them. Especially with results like this. I have never met a Weleda product I didn't like, & the Almond Soothing Facial Oil is no exception. A must for sensitive skin havers.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Lockdown Cream Shadow - Bedroom Eyes

I love the lockdown shadows!!! I use them over my urban decay primer potion (I know they have primer in them, but I like to double up) & they look fab & last all day. This is a lovely sparkly brown colour, which was my first Lockdown purchase (I've since picked up several more at the Too Faced Vintage Sale). There's not too much glitter (I love glitter though, so I wouldn't mind more), & it's easy to layer for a more smoky look. Awesome product. These little guys are a bit expensive though, but I'll just wait for the next sale!

Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Healthy Wear SPF 50 Tinted Moisturizer

I'm really beginning to LOVE this stuff! I first tried it last summer, & I felt like it was greasy & not so great. I recently decided to try it again, as my skin has changed in the last several months & is now freakishly dry. I LOVE IT. I gives me amazing full coverage, I barely need concealer at all! I mix it with a little illuminating cream from Napoleon Perdis, & I end up with a beautiful dewy look. Plus, my skin doesn't get dry & uncomfortable throughout the day when I wear this. I took off one lippie because it does get a bit shiny (especially in the T-Zone) as the day goes on, but I don't mind that at all, & dabbing a bit of Benefit's Dr. Feelgood over my nose makes that go away quick. I can see how oily skin people may not like this though it does have a thick consistency like sunscreen. I've been wearing it every day for the last several weeks, & I haven't broken out or had any other problems. It's kinda amazing! N

Masks -Boots - Botanics Quenching Face Mask

I've been having freakish dryness the past several months and have been searching for a mask that would help with the tightness but not cost more than my apartment. I picked this up at target with more than a little concern, I have acne prone skin and the last thing I wanted was another breakout. This mask is great! Sure there may be better (more expensive) moisturizing masks out there, but this one does the trick for me for only $8!! My skin is soft, hydrated, and clear. I've yet to get a breakout from this, even when I use it as an overnight treatment. Somehow too this mask actually helps mattify my skin, which is super rad! It smells good, works well, and is cheap. I will be purchasing this again. A new staple!

Moisturizers -LUSH - Skin Nanny

I am deeply in LOVE with this moisturizer. It seems to be the only thing which is actually WORKING on my skin right now. Normally I have oily skin, and I used this only at night, but somehow my skin is drying out like crazy and now I use this day and night and I love it! It actually makes me look like I'm wearing makeup- my skin is plump and even. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this has been DISCONTINUED by LUSH. I am really upset. But I'm in the process of finding some kind of replacement (and I'll keep y'all posted). p.s. in the interest of full disclosure: I actually work for LUSH.
