Eyeliner -Sephora - Jumbo Eye Pencil
rated 5 of 5

This is a really pretty, soft, extremely long lasting eye pencil. It can be used as eyeliner, or smudged out as an eyeshadow base (although if you do this, you should use a primer underneath). I have it in 08 Gold, and it's just beautiful, pigmented, and shimmery. The packaging is very sleek and simple (glossy black with the color on the end). I just love it! The only cons are the price ($14 is expensive for me) and, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, how hard it is to wash it off! It clings on for dear life! However, this is still a beautiful eye pencil in a big variety of colors! :)

Blush -Unlisted Brand - NYC - Cheek Glow
rated 2 of 5
LadyClaudia 3/27/2013 4:28:00 PM

The pigmentation in this blush is terrible! I usually give a product a few chances, but this one wasn't working at all. It looks promising in the pan with a cute NYC imprint and rather sturdy packaging, but don't let that fool you. When swatched on my hand, it's flaky, and I barely see anything. On my cheeks, it's even worse. I used to use it on the sides of my face as a contour, but I had to build and build, and it just wasn't worth it. Not to mention the cheap, scratchy brush that comes with it. It's cheap, but still, don't waste your money on this.

Eye Shadow -Milani - Runway Eyes Single Shadows
rated 4 of 5

This eyeshadow is beautiful and glittery. I have the shadow Blackout, which is a black with different colored sparkles. It is matte with a lot of sparkle added to it, texture-wise. It isn't the most pigmented using a dry brush, but its true pigmentation comes out using either a wet brush or a sponge applicator to pack on more shadow. I haven't experienced the glitter overspray as others have. I've used it a few times, and it's still very glittery. It's a Ke$ha level of glitter. However, it can also be used more naturally, as a liner or a light wash over the lids. The packaging isn't that great and the applicator leaves much to be desired. I can see this lasting quite a long time since you get a generous amount of eyeshadow. I love the texture, and would probably buy a different color if it was on sale. :)

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Defining/Angled Eye Brush
rated 4 of 5
LadyClaudia 3/27/2013 3:38:00 PM

This brush has many uses, but it isn't amazing at them. It can be used at different angles for different purposes. However, it is not for eyeliner, because it is too thick and not dense enough. I tried it to highlight (okay), put eyeshadow on the lid (not very good), use it in the crease (not bad), on the lower lashline (pretty good), and use it for brows (very good). It is rather soft, but not very dense. As with most elf essential brushes, the metal part fell off the handle, but this is easy to fix. I don't use this brush that often and wouldn't buy it again, but if you're looking for a cheap ($1), multipurpose eye brush, then try it out! :)

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Waterproof Eyeliner Pen
rated 5 of 5

When I first opened this, I was disappointed to find out that it was dried out. I tried everything to bring it back to life, but nothing worked. Then, I found out how to make it work, in a slightly messy process. I opened the bottom with my teeth, then shook out the felt rod inside. (Be careful, the ink might get on your hands at this point). Then, I pushed the tip from the outside in until it popped out through the bottom. You'll notice that there are two points. I flipped it to the other point, then pushed it in until it was back to normal, and then put a few drops of water in through the bottom, saturating the tip with water from the bottom. I then put the felt rod back in (also wetting it a little) and put the bottom back on, and voila! It works! On to the review. Once I did this, it had great pigmentation. It was a dark, dark brown, but not black. If you let it dry, it takes a bit of effort to wash it off, but it's not waterproof as it claims to be. It does last all day, though, without running. Overall, except for the fact that it was dried out, this is a great product. I think it was worth the effort, because it's actually very good! :)

Scrubs -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Natural Facial Scrub
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 1/25/2013 4:52:00 PM

This stuff is great! It really exfoliates your skin and helps with acne in conjunction with the Mint Julep Mask. I use this everyday, and for a week, I used it with the mask, and it really helped my skin. It dries it out a bit, so make sure you have a good moisturizer. It gets rid of scaly spots very well. I have no complaints about it, except that it would be better with a pump, since I use it in the shower. But at least it's not in a tub, and the squeeze tube isn't terrible. It doesn't smell like mint, surprisingly, but more like lemon/citrus. Nevertheless, it smells great, and works very well, especially since it's only a few bucks for something that should last you quite a while. :)

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Glitter Gloss - ALL
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 1/14/2013 6:44:00 PM

This gloss has such a beautiful, lustrous, sparkly finish. It's jam-packed with glitter, but it's fine, so it isn't gritty at all. I have it in Dazzling Diamond, basically a clear glitter gloss. I got this at Dollar Tree, but it's normally $3. On the box, it says Glitter Gloss, but on the gloss itself, it says Glossy Gloss. :) I didn't notice until I got home. The packaging otherwise looks nice, with the usual Studio look/feel. It's pretty small, so it's good for travel. It has a brush applicator, so it's a little tough evening it out. It's a bit sticky, but not uncomfortably so. It smells delicious, like sweet vanilla. It's great as a top coat for a bright lipstick. It's also good by itself, giving you a dazzling smile. :)

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Complexion Brush
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 1/13/2013 12:52:00 PM

This brush is amazing at applying powder lightly, blush, bronzer, etc. It's super soft, not dense, and the perfect size and shape. There hasn't been any hair fallout at all, and the head is firmly attached to the handle, unlike a few other elf brushes. It doesn't over apply powder and make it look cakey, so it's perfect for under eyes. It's also great for touch-ups during the day. All in all, an incredible value ($3!) for such an awesome brush. :)

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Liquid Eyeliner - Black
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 1/2/2013 1:43:00 AM

This liquid eyeliner is great, and not only for the price, $1! It's very pigmented, the color is pitch black. It's pretty long-lasting. I wore it on New Year's Eve, and it didn't smudge or run. The brush is thin and it's easy to make a thin or thick line with it. It does take a little while to dry, but when it does dry, it barely budges, though it's easy to wash off. The packaging is simple but nice, although the lettering on it has almost completely worn off. I would advise putting a thin line of pencil eyeliner underneath it to make it look more natural and last longer. :)

Mascara -E.L.F. - Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 12/28/2012 2:31:00 PM

This lash/brow gel gives you brows that stay put, and natural definition to lashes. For brows, it's awesome at keeping them in place for the day. I put a little bit on my brows, then spread it with my fingers so it isn't all clumpy and thick. I haven't experienced any of the flaking that other people have. For lashes, it's good at making them look shiny, a bit longer, and more noticeable. I think this works best for naturally dark, rather thick lashes because I don't think it would make much of a difference on light, sparse lashes. When I first got it, I could open up the lash side fine, but the brow side was stuck. I tried twisting it and twisting it, then used an eyelash curler to separate the two parts, and it finally opened. Also, the brow side started to look dirty, despite the fact that I don't use any brow powder or pencil. Other than those cons, I can't think of any other bad things to say about this product. Besides, for a dollar, what do you have to lose? :)

Blush -L.A. Colors - Toast
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 12/28/2012 2:44:00 AM

This isn't the most pigmented blush when you swatch it, but it's a stronger color when you actually put it on your cheeks. The packaging is a bit cheap looking, but I can live with that. It has a totally useless brush that's tiny and sheds like crazy, but that's alright because the product quality makes up for it. It's a sort of dusty peachy rose color that looks natural when used lightly with a fluffy brush, like elf's Complexion Brush. Although, one thing that bothers me a bit is the size of it. It's really tiny and hard to get the blush onto a brush. Otherwise, I really can't complain about it for the price of $1! :)

Lip Treatments -E.L.F. - Studio Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 12/15/2012 6:30:00 PM

I got this product in Peaceful Pink, a cool toned light pink. It's pretty moisturizing, but you have to exfoliate first to get the full effect. I haven't experienced any of the burning some of the other reviewers have talked about. The pigmentation is pretty good for a lip balm. It's not sheer, but not extremely pigmented. The packaging is a bit bulky, but otherwise very sleek and expensive-looking. The best part about it? The smell. It smells divine, like vanilla-coconut candy. It normally costs $3, but I found it at the Dollar Tree, so I had to try it out! The color is a bit light for my lips, but then again, the pigmentation isn't too strong, so I can put a light layer on. I would repurchase in a slightly darker color, like Mellow Melon. :)

Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 12/15/2012 4:38:00 PM

This is a great alternative to other more expensive primers from brands like Smashbox, Make Up For Ever, etc. It has basically the same ingredients as them, costs less, and has more product! It works well at keeping my foundation on for a few more hours without completely sliding off. When I first tried it out, I was amazed at how incredibly smooth and soft it was! I use it all over my face except for my chin, because it's flaky, full of acne, and I don't want to make it look worse. It's mattifying, foundation goes on more smoothly, and as far as I know, it hasn't made me break out. At $6 for 1.5 ounces, it's truly a gem. :)

Lip Gloss -L.A. Colors - Moisturizing Glossy Lips Sheer Lipgloss in Clear
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 12/7/2012 10:27:00 PM

This is a clear, moisturizing, slightly sticky lip gloss that gives you REALLY shiny lips. It's almost unbelievably shiny. It's a squeeze type lip gloss with a long doe foot applicator where the product comes out. I like it, it's cute and you can put on how much you want without putting on too much. It's great to wear alone, or even better, over lipstick. The best part? It's just $1. :)

Highlighters -E.L.F. - Shimmering Facial Whip in Lilac Petal
rated 5 of 5
LadyClaudia 11/11/2012 3:12:00 PM

I really like this highlighter. It claims you can use it on eyes, lips, and face, but you can only really use it on your face and eyes (but it creases). I once experimented using it on my lips, but it looked SUPER frosty and terrible. But hear me out... it works amazingly as a highlighter! I use a bit to highlight my cheekbone, browbone, and inner corner of my eye. If you blend it out, it looks beautiful and dewy. From swatches of Benefit High Beam I've seen online, this is very similar to it. It doesn't have any gritty glitter, which is good. It's very small, but you only need a tiny bit of product each time, and it looks cute. The only con I have is that mine has 2 holes in the opening, so it comes out of 2 places, but I can live with it. :)
