I LOVEEEEEEE this liner, and am so sad Sephora won't carry them anymore. I just bought 8 of them in one of the stores that still had them. Hopefully that will last me a while. I have it in all the neutrals.
I purchased this in "warm" and it gives me THE best glow :) Love it~
Blush -MAC - Matte Blush - Bite Of An Apple (Venomous Villains)
LAgurl1997 11/22/2010 6:20:00 PM
My MAC actually still had some of this series left -- I was shocked, since I thought they just cleared it out when new ones come in, but they were in the drawer. This is THE perfect blush for me. I have a all year tan (NC35~45 at the darkest) not crazy, but with my yellow undertone and slightly darker color, I have to find a more pigmented blush. It's matte and pigmented so I apply this with a fan brush and it's awesome because it spreads the color so I don't look like I'm a five year old that just got back from the cold playground, lol. The packaging, although adorable, I have to give it a three as I had to replace my first purchase because the plastic was broken and the pictured part was already loose when I opened the box. So three for that, but other wise, LOVE! I might get another one while they have some in stock as I may go through this one FAST.
I bought two of these from Target with the black handle and I love it! It's small so it's easy to travel with and very versatile!
I have been looking for a deep pigmented purple shadow and looked at other brands -- couldn't find it! Kat Von D had nice purple but it was a different shade than this one... Most purples I saw were more like Shadowy Lady with a touch of red/brown in it, or a lighter shade like a lilac or just not deep enough. I got this with a 20% discount at Sephora, so with tax and all I paid about $15 and change. Still expensive for an eyeshadow but I figured I can't get it else where, and plus it's a pretty good size, I'll splurge! It's gorgeous!! Love it!
Hair Styling Tools -Farouk CHI - Chi Ceramic Flat Iron by Farouk
LAgurl1997 11/5/2009 10:59:00 PM
I am on my third CHI iron :) Not because it's bad -- because I have been using it for over 5 years. This last one I had (the pink one!! LOVE!!) shorted on me because I wrapped the cords around the iron and you are NOT suposed to do that!! Stupid stupid me :( So I got a new original black one from Folica -- because I can't live without my CHI!! The first one broke because I dropped it. had I NOT done those things, I would still be on my first one. Yes, it is THAT good. LOVE IT! One thing I will always indulge in, even if it's a bit pricey for a hair iron!
LOVE it! It's a perfect nude color gloss for me! Because my lips are pretty pigmented, most gloss just show up clear or just gets overpowered by my own lip color. This one is great! It's perfect for the smokey eye + nude lips combo :)
Got this at my CCO for $12, and I love it! I use it with my Hello Kitty Pink Fish balm. I put the Baby Sparks on first - just dab it in two spots on the top and the bottom lip then put the balm on with the finger and sort of 'mix' the two on the lips, and voila! It's like this innocent pink subtle sparks+glowy lip :) I may go back and get a couple more if they still have it next time!!
I use this brush every time I put make up on. It is one of the best all over the lid brush. It picks up color well, doesn't shed after multiple washing. Love it.
What's with the negative reviews? I like this stuff - but in all honesty I haven't tried the UDPP (because I've heard waaay too many complaints about the packaging and the price) or Too Faced one. But I figured, I don't have a lot to complain about, and this works just right for me :) My shadows definitely stays on longer then if I had nothing on, and I think for $6 it does it's job! Many blogs have reviewed this products and have given it a thumbs up :)
Cleansers -Cosmedicine - Healthy Cleanse Foaming Cleanser and Toner In One
LAgurl1997 8/5/2009 9:38:00 PM
I got the full size at sephora for $8 -- dirt cheap compared to the regular price of $30. I wouldn't have even looked at it if it were the regular price! Well brought it home, and tried it....well, it's good. That's all. No fanfares, no feeling of 'UGH!!" It was just ok. Then I brought it to work (I'm a flight attendant) and every time I would get to a hotel and try to use it, it would be all over the plastic bag I had it in -- it was leaking! From where???? It's a foam dispenser -- nothing to twist open! I returned it - it worked fairly well for taking off make up -- but I felt that it wasn't enough, and the leaking part was annoying!

Styling Products -Living Proof - No Frizz Medium-Coarse hair
LAgurl1997 7/8/2009 7:40:00 PM
Well, it works!! I have very coarse, long thick hair that I have to have thinned out A LOT. On top of that, it's got this weird wave thing that isn't quite straight, not curly....it's just a big mess!! So, whenever I would straighten it then I go somewhere that has humidity, or it's raining, or it's hot and humid outside -- it'll become just this big poof and just had this texture that wasn't soft nor looked good. I took maybe two quarter size for my hair, which is thinned out quite a bit -- and blow dried it and then used my beloved Chi. It's raining outside -- and I've been out today, my hair got a bit wet while walking to and from my car -- and it feels silky smooth, still!! A bit expensive for the size and the amount that they ENCOURAGE you to use (the gal at Sephora told me 'the MORE the BETTER!") so I have to take that into consideration, but after I finish the bottle and I still see the same POSITIVE effect, and it doesn't dry my hair out or lose the effectiveness, I will most defnitely repurchase!!!! ****UPDATE**** Um, never mind. It left my hair as dry as a hay. Ugh. returned it, and now am using Garnier's leave in conditioner that has such a great review here, as well as coming through with it's promise - for $3!!!!!!!
I am on bottle number.....4, I think. I got the big one this time :) I use this to take off eye make up, and man, this is sooo easy - soak cotton ball, and one or two swipe. The rest of the face I use DHC's oil cleansing stuff. And on days that I don't work, or am not meeting people, I don't wear any make up, but when I do, I go all out - falsies and everything. So There's a lot of eye stuff to take off! Love it, and will always love it :) Perfect 10, if I could!!
