Lipstick -Cargo - Plant Love Lipstick

It is a nice lipstick. I know that sounds totally meaningless but that's all it is. I got Faith by Angie Harmon. It just seems to highlight my lips a bit -- totally MLBB. Creamy. Average staying power. The box has seeds embedded in it so if you plant the box it'll grow flowers!

Fragrances -Fresh - Cannabis Rose

I bought it kind of impulsively. It is very strong and cloying and intense. I have never smelled anything like it. On my skin it smells kind of like earthy bug repellent. But somehow that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Eyeliner -Avon - Sparkle N' Shine Eyeliner
Kuruku 2/4/2008 11:12:00 PM
Yikes...This purchase is purely an example of poor judgement on my part. This stuff has it all: a messy brush, a weird, greasy texture, no staying power...In fact, once you put it on (I got it in silver) it kind of looks like bits of sand stuck to your face. Stay away!

Eyeliner -Avon - Transforming Liquid Eye Liner

Absolute garbage. Doesn't do a thing but make my eyeballs sting. Honestly, just wet your eyeliner brush -- it will work a gazillion times better. Why oh why did I waste money on this.

Blush -mark - Good Glowing Powder Blush - Kitten Glow
Kuruku 1/30/2008 12:47:00 AM
I like it not on its own, but layered over a darker blush (like mark's just pinched in berry) or a light dusting over my face like a bronzer. I am very pale so it doesn't really look that pink...Just very softly, subtley glittery. I've also applied it to my eyelids with a shadow brush and it works well that way, too. I don't much care for the mark palettes though and the mezzo case I keep this blush in (which it shares with a few mark shadows) is full of kitten glo glitter.

Blush -mark - Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint stick-Berry
Kuruku 1/30/2008 12:44:00 AM
Hands-down my favourite blush. It's so sweet and subtle and on my very pale skin looks so very natural. When I first apply it it looks very pink and bright but within seconds fades to the most beautiful shade that makes me look slightly flushed -- like "is she wearing blush or isn't she?" It looks particularly sweet when I layer mark Kitten Glo over top.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Glazewear Dazzlers in Ruby Slippers
Kuruku 1/30/2008 12:41:00 AM
I love this stuff. The photos in the campaign catalogue were deceiving and made it look like a very sparkly bright red...And it's actually very sheer with a little bit of glitter to it. It smells and tastes lovely and is so sweet and subtle on.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Glazewear in Rosebud
Kuruku 1/30/2008 12:39:00 AM
I just plain love Glazewear -- it's long-lasting, lustrous, non-sticky and smells/tastes great. Oh, and the colour of the Rosebud is this lovely vibrant coppery pink...Not brassy or orangey at all. Great for everyday wear. If you want just a bit more drama, Glazewear in Buttered Rum is like Rosebud but a wee bit darker.

Fragrances -LUSH - Honey I Washed the Kids Solid Perfume
Kuruku 1/28/2008 3:52:00 PM
The smell is so sweet, happy and uplifting -- think slight citrus, dulce de leche, honey... Very fresh and strong for a short while and then fades to a subtle, sweet scent that stays on your skin even after showering. The only fragrance I am comfortable wearing while breastfeeding because it's so sweet and natural and doesn't bug my son at all. Rated the packaging a 4 because having it in a tube would be ideal and it's in a little tin.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Lemony Flutter
Kuruku 1/28/2008 3:49:00 PM
I use this not only on my hands but on my feet and breasts (I am breastfeeding and they get really dry). It smells so intoxicatingly FRESH...The scent is very uplifting and vibrant. The texture is so rich -- almost like something you'd want to eat or spread on toast. And it moisturizes like crazy but doesn't leave your hands greasy at all. I'll be using it forever.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Lip Delight
Kuruku 1/28/2008 3:47:00 PM
I think I would have liked this product a lot more if I'd gotten it in another shade. I got Plum Tart, having no idea that the deep purple wouldn't be a nice glossy sheer but actually really deep, zombie-purple on my lips. The texture and taste of this gloss is nice. It's sticky, though. It comes in a darling little pot but it is SO sticky and viscous that putting it on is kind of a pain. Not sure about this one -- it looks really strange on me, but Red Apple Cinnamon might have looked nicer...

Eye Shadow -mark - I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow
Kuruku 11/22/2007 1:45:00 PM
I like these! The only reason I am giving this a four is because some of the shadows are far superior to others. Antique lace barely shows up on my eyelid. It's basically like I am wearing nothing, yet somehow an hour or so later I have a crease! However, shades like Apple and Heavenly are very flattering, vibrant and last a long time w/o a crease. Cake is also a very nice subtle base shade.

Liquid -Cover Girl - TruBlend
Kuruku 11/22/2007 1:42:00 PM
Hmmm...It "pills" and gets crumby when I blend it in. Really, realy sheer coverage that just seems to make my oily skin oilier. Looks good, not great, for a short while before I have to literally wipe it off my face b/c of the oiliness. The pump is handy but that doesn't really matter if the product isn't great...

Liquid -Mary Kay - Medium Coverage Foundation
Kuruku 11/22/2007 1:39:00 PM
I figured I should always buy the lightest of any powder or foundation, since my skin is so pale. However, I use this in beige and it looks fantastic! It is a TINY bit heavier than I am used to but if I apply just a wee bit and blend it in lightly with my fingertips it looks porcelain-smooth. It covers up acne scars, discolourations and all the other little imperfections that we all deal with. A little bit goes a long way. It is pricier than I am used to but I think it's worth it. I think this'll be my foundation from now on -- not cakey, not crumby, doesn't "pill" like other foundations I've used when I blend it into my skin. Leaves a beautiful finish and fights shine, too.

Fragrances -mark - Hollywood Pink Perfume [DISCONTINUED]
Kuruku 10/3/2007 1:29:00 PM
I love it! However, I can see why a lot of people don't. It is cheap-smelling and really, really sweet. However, what I smell in it most is BABY WIPES and I love that smell -- sweet, a bit alchohol-y and very powdery. The bottle is very cute but the opalescent finish cracks and rubs off.
