This is the color I’ve been searching for! It’s the best neutral polish to give your nails a subtle, manicured look. Like similar colors that I've tried out from various brands (including OPI), it’s not too milky, peachy or pink against my fair complexion. It’s perfect! One coat = “your nails but better”, 2 coats gives a hint of color but 3 is streakless and gorgeous! I love the way it transforms my nails into something clean and sophisticated! :)
Polishes -Milani - One Coat Glitter - Silver Dazzle

Yesterday, I painted my nails with Chanel's Black Pearl and within an hour, I couldn't wait to redo them with Milani's Silver Dazzle. Hands down, Silver Dazzle is far more gorgeous and just a fraction of the cost. I absolutely love it! With Seche Vite on top, it looks out of this world... almost with the slightest hint of blue undertone to it. I have a few of the Milani One Coat Glitters and they are spectacular especially for the pirce! You can get away with one coat but I definitely recommend 2 or even 3 for high impact. But all in all, this is one of my favorite polishes in my extensive collection. I highly recommend it!
I think this is an absolutely beautiful top coat. I currently have it over Chanel's Black Pearl. It adds just a hint of sparkle. I like that it's subdued. It plays well with blues, blacks, greys, pinks, purples, reds... many different options. It's definitely a top coat. If you're looking for a full impact glitter, look elsewhere. I've been grabbing this quite frequently to add a touch of dimension and uniqueness to my regular polishes. I love it and will actually need to repurchase this at some point which says a lot :)
I was browsing the makeup aisle and this polish jumped out at me. I really love gold polishes but I don't have any in my collection with orange/copper particles like this one. It's very unique. One coat looks great but I did two for a little extra kick. It's not a smooth finish but I actually like the matte texture. It reminds me a lot of OPI's Suedes but with sparkle. This is the perfect fall color! It's reminiscent of autumnal foliage but with glistening, magical glitter. I only have one other Milani polish that I've had for eons and it still works like a dream. I'm definitely going to look into getting some more. If you're looking for a sophisticated glitter that is something special, I highly suggest checking this out! I can't stop looking at my nails :)
I'm a redhead with very fair skin. This is a great shadow to have in my collection. I usually stick to neutrals so this works perfectly in the crease or all over the lid. This can also work for the brows. It blends very well and is easy to work with. Love it!
This is a nice color to work with as an alternative to grey or black. I paired it with MAC's Wedge in the crease and it create a unique smokey effect. It is matte, so it takes a bit of patience to get the best results (I applied primer, painterly paint pot, dry Plumage eyeshadow then applied Plumage wet). This is also a nice color to wear on the lower lash line for a pop of color with a neutral look. I would describe it as teal with grey and blue unertones.
This is great color with an excellent formula but there are many similar versions on the market. I'm satisfied with my purchase but when I run out, I'll probably check out Revlon's Minted or something from Essie or China Glaze as they seem to have a broader range of minty teals and turquoises for a fraction of MAC's cost. This is a fun color and works well for spring/summer. If you have the cash to splurge, go for it but if you're experimenting, definitely find a dupe for less!
I love this shade! I have very fair, cool skin. With 3 coats, it's glossy and perfect for year 'round wear. It goes well with the spring '11 trends but is obviously nice for fall as well. I feel very natural when I have this on. My nails look manicured and polished but they sill feel like my own. This is surprisingly one of my favorite OPI polishes. I hope it becomes permanent because despite nudes being popular, there isn't too many quality dupes out there (if any at all). Snag this up while you can if you're looking for the perfect neutral/tan/nude shade that will work for all seasons. Love it! :)
Polishes -OPI - Texas Collection 2011 Guy Meets Gal-veston

This is a fun pop of color. I didn't realize it was a 'sorbet' or jelly-like formula until I brought it home. Even with 3 coats, it is semi-sheer but that's the way it's supposed to look... kind of like a "lightweight" polish. This is nice for spring/summer. If you're someone who demands an opaque finish, definitely pass on this but if you're looking for something bright and different, give it a try! It puts me in a happy mood.
I really like this color but it takes a bit of patience to get the right consistency. My bottle's lid doesn't screw on properly. It's tricky to use the brush because the handle isn't aligned. It takes awhile to dry and the smell isn't great... but for $1, I would buy again. This particular shade could easily make some complexions look "dead" but I have such fair skin that it doesn't entirely wash me out. It's difficult but unique. Because it's so affordable, it's worth the purchase!
I have no idea when I bought this- maybe a few years ago for a Halloween look? It's extremely affordable and is perfect for a bold red/fuscia look. I like to use this for retro or costume looks. I find that it wears relatively long. The product itself is substantial. I'm not someone who typically wears lip pencils, so this will probably last me forever. I think this is great to have in your collection. For the price, the quality can't be beat! I actually like the color. I don't necessarily think it's a true berry, so don't let the name fool you (when I think of berries, I think of reds with purple/mauve undertones). But I actually appreciate the fuscia aspect to this pencil. I definitely recommend this!
Polishes -L.A. Colors - Color Craze Nail Polish in Radiation

This is a beautiful sea foam/teal/mermaid green polish. I think this is a universally flattering shade. It has a bit of a gold/pearlescent undertone look to it as well. It's a nice color for spring/summer. It puts me in a happy mood. For only $1, the quality is amazing. I have about 10 LA Colors Craze polishes and they are fantastic- excellent quality, unique and trendy colors... doesn't get much better than this! I highly recommend this brand and color. This is just as good or better than Essie & OPI... coming from a girl with about 200 bottles of nail polish!
I've had this for ages and recently rediscovered it at the bottom of a box. I used to wear it all the time but the packaging broke and it's a bit messy. I have extremely fair skin so this works as a light, rosy bronzer on my skin. Like many products, this blush does have the tendency to look a bit orange on me but it is easy to work with. It looks lovely with NARS Albatross highlighter on top.
I ordered this lipglass bc I thought the color would be fun. Giuliana Rancic from E! news says it's her favorite. But I think this would wear better on olive or tan complexions. I'm very fair so I have to be careful with it. It can make you look like a clown. But if you mute your lips out with a nice primer and balm, this can be very pretty. I hated it at first but it has grown on me. It's a bit sticky but not too bad. Not the best but not the worst. I like it enough to repurchase but that probably won't be for a long time.
Lips -Cover Girl - Outlast Lipstain - 410 Bit of Blossom
KristaSelene 4/9/2011 10:21:00 PM
I scored this lip stain for $2 at Big Lots. I was really excited to try it out because I have never owned a lip stain and I really like the idea of the marker packaging. This is a beautiful fuscia shade that is cool with blue undertones- perfect for fair skin. I think this would look beautifull in the summer with a light eye to let the focus be on the pout, haha. This is a lot of fun. My only complaint is there doesn't seem to be a lot of product but for what I paid, I'd go back and get a few more. I'm curious to try the other shades! I am concerned how difficult it will be to apply when the product starts to get low and how quickly it might dry out. But for the time being, I really love having this in my collection and will definitely be using it :)
