If you have problematic skin like mine you'd love this because it gives full coverage without caking your face if you apply it properly. I use kryolan tv paint stick in NB (light asian skin with yellow undertones) after my normal liquid foundation. I use foundation brush, because wet sponge didn't work for me. It doesn't smell nor feel heavy on face. This does clog pores, but i think its okay to wear it daily as long as you wash your face very neatly. Too bad it can't hold up to my oily skin, after several hours i will get really oily and have to blot. I don't like blotting because it ruins the makeup sometimes. Setting it with powder around the t zone will make it less oily. But overall i will repurchase since it's the only thing that actually cover all my flaws.
It's a very gentle cleanser very suitable for sensitive and acne prone skin. It can be used as makeup removal as well, just apply it with cotton pad and rub it over the areas you want your makeup to be removed. After that just wash your face with it in usual way. It doesn't dry out my skin, many cleansers tend to make my skin really dry and left my skin flaky but not with this one. It's non-irritant and feels soft, left my skin hydrated. I suffer from acne and thank God this cleanser doesn't make my skin worse.
I got this in small bottle when i looked around and thought i should get this because i have oily skin with acne scars all over and still battling acne. At first it was an okay product, didn't break me out nor help with my acne i keep using until i ran out but didn't want to repurchase because it's really drying after i was my face. Feels so tight. I moved to body shop seaweed face cleanser and it works great. But when i came back to body shop they ran out of the product so i get the tea tree cleanser anyway because it's on sale. But lately i felt my skin has gotten worse, acne appears here and there like never before i thought it was the makeup i'm using (its weird though because they didn't react bad to my skin before) so i thought there must be something wrong with my face routine, i never thought this cleanser is the culprit. Really, it breaks me out like CRAZY!!!! I was so down and refuse to go out of the house :( I always wake up with new zits and tons of white heads. It dries out my skin terribly like no products before. I stop using it and using seaweed again, and i woke up with no new acne that's how i found this thing is the culprit. If you suffer from acne and blemishes and rather oily i recommend you to choose the seaweed range instead of this, they works way better. This just too harsh for my skin
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin

No matter how many high end foundation i've tried i always go back to revlon colorstay. I think i've found my soulmate! I have oily skin, mainly on my T zone which easily get very oily during the day and make up tend to slide off of my face which make me look like a total mess! I try many foundations, none of them really satisfy me like colorstay. I am mac nc25 and the closest color i can get is sand beige, it's not the perfect color for me, it's darker than my actual skin tone. Buff might fit me better but it such a prick that there are only 5 shades available here in Indonesia :( It's thick but very easy to blend on skin. It smells yuck but doesn't bother me too much. The coverage is medium to full, i don't even need concealer to hide my acne scars though i usually add some to hide major scarring. The staying power is great comparing to some high end foundations i've tried. I apply without the primer and it only gets oily on my nose after 5 hours. After 8 hours my acne scars will start to show up because the oiliness on my face so i need to touch up. With primer it will have more staying power. Also, my creme blush really stay till the end of the day :) It doesn't cause break out to my skin, though it seems heavy but it doesnt clog pores. My skin is prone to acne, it got horrible breakout like wow using mufe hd. Ew. I really recommend this for everyone! It's really affordable and worth the money. If it's not because of the color selection i'll give it straight 5 lippies.
I got this about a week ago and i like it quite a LOT. i have oily acne-prone skin, and this is probably the only powder i can wear alone without foundation! Powder foundation usually got me looking cakey, stay on dry patches, and look greasy on my skin but this one is an exception. I got my color matched in nc25 and it suit my skin pretty well :D The coverage is medium if you wear it alone, it can't hide minor blemishes you have to apply concealer though. But it can look so flawless if you apply foundation underneath, i try with my make up forever HD and Estee lauder double wear, and use it as setting powder result in amazing coverage and it didn't cake my face at all. The oil control is not that great if wear alone, my nose got all oily after 4 hours but if set with primer and foundation it really helps to keep the oil at bay. My skin is really prone to acne that's why i was scared for trying this out at first but so far this hasn't broke me out yet. I'll update if it is. Overall it's my fav powder foundation so far
Cleansers -The Body Shop - Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash
Klovi 3/1/2013 5:17:00 AM
I got this when this was on sale few days ago ($5), since i was out of cleanser so i thought i'd give it a try. My previous cleanser was from the etude house (korea brands) ac clinic facial wash, i loved it but it was pricey, i moved on to foaming facial wash by tbs tea tree line but it was too drying on my face didn't feel so nice. First time i try this out i smell familiar scent, turns out this product smells like a body lotion i've used to use when i was little. I love it tbh, bring back memories ;) The texture is runny so if you open the tap the product will be oozing out amd just like the facial cleanser from tbs tea tree one's, this one doesn't bubbles at all. I always being so paranoid about a cleanser that doesn't bubbles, always think i don't put enough product so i always use more of the product than usual. Totally waste, you only need a tad bit of product though. I have oily acne-prone skin, my skin is not sensitive. I think this product really control my oil, i always feel squicky clean after using it really fresh :D it doesn't really dry my skin and my skin feels so soft. I always get oily right after 1-2 hours after washing my face but with this i get oily after like 4 hours or so. Doesn't cause me to break out.
I've been using this twin cake to set up my liquid foundation and it always end up making my face look cakey. Though i only dab a little bit of the product with powder brush, using sponge will only make it more cakey-er. I've tried to use it alone but it completely make my skin look so dry and it leaves visible dry patch here and there, also cakey. I have very oily skin and it doesn't keep the oil at bay. I'm looking for a matte powder foundation but this one really turns me down. The only good thing about it is that it didn't cause any break out to my skin (i'm prone to acne)
I was once out of lipgloss when i went out so i borrowed TBS lip & cheek tint from my friend and actually loved it when i first applied on my lips! I bought it the next day right away. It feels so good on my lips. My lips were chapped because of the weather but thanks to this heaven sent i finally say goodbye to chapped lips :) i love the color i just wish there are more colors available. It doesn't taste or smell weird. I've always got my lips so dry after i wash my face but with this my lips are still pink and look moisturized after i washed my face totally a plus for me!
This is my HG!!!! at first buy i thought this was just okay because i got the wrong shade, Tawny turns orangey on my nc25 skin so by the end of the day my face look darker and cakey, not nice for daily wear. I went back to revlon colorstay because i thought they were almost the same but omg revlon actually changed the formula :( it used to look good on me but the new formula look so greasy, my pores look huge and couldn't keep my oil at bay. I was so disappointed so i decided to get double wear again, this time i got Sand because it's more yellow and lighter than Tawny. I recommend Sand rather than Tawny for people with light yellow-tonned skin. And by the way, i was so SHOCKED because the price has increased! It used to be $38 but now it's $42. The sales assistant said the price has changed since few days ago, it also happened to MAC produts. I don't know if that also happens to another country, i live in indonesia btw. With that money i spent i wished it would be worth it and i'm so glad it did. The color Sand fits me right, at first it would look lighter than my actual skin but after some time it oxidizes and matched my skin perfectly. It's really important to get the right shade because i find that the result is not cakey than when i got the wrong color. Don't rely on the sales assistant. The coverage is amazing. Medium to full. I have many acne scars and it hides them well even though i have to use concealer for minor scars. It also fill in my pores make them invisible. I have dry patches (from acne treatment) and the foundation doesn't look really nice on top of dry patches, but it happens with every foundation so really it's just my skin. Moisturizer really helps with this. I apply it with mac stippling brush, and with my finger for nose area. I have a hard time blending every foundation on my nose i dunno why. If you have oily skin like me you might consider using primer first. I used it without primer once (i actually forgot to apply the primer :p) and my nose became really oily after like 4 or 5 hours. With primer it's not that bad. But i really wish it can hold up to my oily skin longer though. It doesn't transfer, water-resistant, and doesn't slide off, good for oily people. The smell is not strong. The formula is non acnegenic which is good with people like me, with skin that is prone to breakouts. It's full coverage but doesn't clog pores so you don't have to worry but still have to washed throughly because it's water resistant so it's hard to come off with just liquid cleanser. Really recommend this :) worth the try
Pressed Powders -Bourjois - Healthy Balance Unifying Powder
Klovi 1/30/2013 12:31:00 PM
I have oily acne prone skin. I got this product few days ago but i stop using it because i got the wrong color :( i was supposed to be vanilla but i chose the darker shade because my foundation is already too light but turns out my face look dull. Meeeeh. And i thought this product won't cause any problem to my face but oddly after several hours wearing it my face felt itch and result in one little zit. I'm afraid i will get much more if i keep using it. The oil control is not good. Maybe it will do best for people with normal skin who doesn't need much coverage.
BB Cream -Skinfood - Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea BB Cream
Klovi 1/17/2013 2:24:00 AM
I tried this for a week and i gotta say this one is really good for a $15 bb cream :) I was having bad breakouts like, for weeks and i thought i needed to minimize my makeup routines so i switched my foundation to this bb cream. I chose the shade #2 it has pink undertones, though i have yellow udertones it still fits me. It smells good. The coverage is light to medium, i got acne scars that i need to cover so i use concealer to get flawless look. It's really blendable, easy to apply i use my finger, haven't tried to use brush. It has dewy finish, i guess it will not cake the face no matter how much you apply on your face. I set it with powder. It looks very natural. The oil control is quite good, in my case, it has better oil controlling than make up for ever hd foundation. Really. Of course after 6 hours i get oily and i blot with the oil paper, a bit of it sticks on the blotting paper but it doesn't look slide off of my face ;) The packaging is also good, very handy and simple.
I loveeeee this foundation!!!! Well i used to use the original colorstay liquid foundation and it did good on my face also but i love this one better! I have oily acne-prone skin and it's hard to find the right foundie for me since i need one that will cover all of my acne scars and redness, also can hold up to my oiliness. This one did well! :D I heard there are 12 shades to choose from but sadly there are only 4 color shades available in my country (Indonesia) :( and none of them really match my skin tone, i have yellow undertone and light skin. The SA suggested for ivory but the last time i bought the colorstay liquid foundation was in ivory and it was too light. But the shade that comes after that which is sand-beige (the sa said so) is too dark for my skin. So i picked ivory instead beause i don't want my face to look dull because of the darker shade foundation. But ivory makes my face kinda look pale. But maybe if i set it with darker powder it will get my color match. None of the revlon foundation really match my skin tone. Ever. It has bouncy whipped texture, very thick. I use my finger to apply it on my face but it didn't do really well, so i decided to use the stippling brush and i think it's the best way to blend it :D it blends easily and doesn't cake my face. I only need a bit amount of it to cover my face, all of my imperfection. It hides it all. Except if you have severe acne or breakouts you'll need concealer or simply just add more of the foundation on your face it will do. So i would say it's medium to full coverage. Use stippling brush to have that full coverage finish. The result is beautiful. Not too dewy yet not too matte. It looks natural. I got compliments today when i first wear it. I have oily skin and after 6 hours my nose is already oily but it doesn't slide off and doesn't really show the oiliness. But after some time longer it still look good on me though. Oh and it got salicylic acid in the ingredients which is good for acne. So it won't cause severe breakouts. For now this is my HG. Definitely a keeper. It really worth the price. I've been using high ends foundation but none of them really satisfy me (they're really pricey to begin with), this drugstore product really worth the $17 :) i really recommend this.
I used to use the colorstay one and when this came out i was expecting this to be a lot better than the colorstay. But too bad it doesn't even near as good as colorstay. I don't know why Revlon have poor color selection. My colorstay gets too light and my photoready is too dark on my skin. So aside from that, the foundation has sparkle. A lot of sparkle. But it doesn't really showing though. The texture is hard to blend. I got really cakey all the time. I only use this for like 2 times and stop, it end up in my make up case forever. I won't repurchase.
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
Klovi 1/3/2013 3:54:00 PM
Too bad I don't like like this product...at all. After seeing all the videos and great review about it i couldn't wait to have it. I saw that it can hide imperfection perfectly and give flawless result BUT when i finally bought it, it was total garbage. :( I put this on after my moisturizer and primer and set it with powder but the result is such a shame. The coverage is sheer to medium, some say its full coverage but i don't think so no matter how much you put it on your flaw it will still show through, you need to work it with concealer. I have oily acne-prone skin, but sometimes my skin get a bit dry. When i apply it on my face it looks nice but after 3 hours or so...oil mess! My T zone gets really really oily in short period of times really, my nose is the most oily part and the foundation goes off, it looks terrible. It doesn't even stay half the day! So i really don't recommend it for people with oily skin or people who tend to get oily in the T zone area. To make it worse it gave me break out. I think it's one of the ingredients in it. It sometimes look really greasy on me too. Ugggh. What a waste of money! It's quite pricey. Oh btw my color range is nc20 and somehow it looks a bit yellow-ish but its okay for me because i have yellow skintone. If you're searching for foundation that will stay all day through activities, this one won't work.
