Polishes -Essie - Island Hopping
rated 4 of 5

(Used with Essie base and Herome topcoat) This is my first essie nail polish and overall I am happy with it. The application was a pain though. The brush is small and the consistenty is thin, so I had a hard time getting the right amonth on the brush, I either applied to much or too little and had to remove everything and start from scratch 3 times before I was satisfied with the result. I hope that I will get used to essie's formulars overtime and it will not such a hassel next time(Why I gave it 4 stars). But when I had finally succeeded, I was very pleased. The color was exactly what I was looking for, a sort of muted purple. Making it interesting, but still nice for everyday. It lasted almost a entire week without a chip, the longest I have ever experienced. Whether or not I will rebuy depends on whether or not I get used to the formular. If the application keeps being so difficult, I don't think so. But I am counting on it too get better, so I said yes. Will edit when I wear it again.

Eye Makeup Remover -L'Oreal - Dermo Expertise Gentle Eye Make Up Remover for Eyes and Lips - WATERPROOF
rated 5 of 5
Kirs13 1/8/2012 1:44:00 PM

I love this, it doesn't hurt my eyes, it get the makeup off without too much trouble and it doesn't leave that greezy feeling almost all other makeup removers I have tried does. My best friend uses Clinique Take The Day Off and if I remember correctly(used it once at a sleepover, before buying this) it was slightly better. So I don't doubt that there are better makeup removers out there, but not at this price and I am not willing to pay 3 times as much for something thats maybe slightly better. So I think I'll be stiking with this, if something works don't fix it :P (I use waterproof mascara daily) Edit: Just wanted to share a little side note. Before I switched to this makeup remover I was using a really poor one and my lashes turned really thin and extremely troublesome to work with, I started applying abit of extra virgin olive oil to my lashes every night and they are now in a much, much better condition. :) Just a little tip (you can also use vaseline.)

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Honey
rated 5 of 5
Kirs13 1/8/2012 12:55:00 PM

This is my favorite product of all times and it makes me really annoyed too see the reviews with low rating from people who expect instant results. I know some people had a bad reaction to it and I completely get why they rated it low, I would have done the same thing. But people who only tried it once or twice and then say it didn't work for them, give it a chance. This product, together with salt water has made my skin clearer then it has been for YEARS. But this product didn't seem to do anything for my skin the first week or so. The first week I still got a few small whiteheads, but the second week I started to notice I didn't get any new blemishes and my old onces was disapearing. I have now used it for a month, give or take and I am so happy with it! I used it every morning and every evening for maybe a hour in total, afterwards my skin feels soft, moisturisted with a faint glow. My skin also seems more balanced, it isn't shiny when I wake up or before washing my face in the evening, like it normally is and my acne scars seem less noticeable. Unless you are allergic to honey, I really wish you would try it out for a month or so before saying it did nothing.

Eye Makeup Remover -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
rated 2 of 5
Kirs13 1/8/2012 12:06:00 PM

I know many people are very excited about this, but I do not agree. Olive oil CAN be used to remove makeup and I would use it in a pinch. But in my experience its very similar to cheap makeup removers you can buy in the drugstore. It's extremely greezy, every single time I have used it I have gotten it in my eyes and though it didn't sting, it blurred my vision and was very uncomftable. It was hard to get my makeup off with it, it seemed to spread the makeup, rather then really removing it and I had to use a very long time getting i off. Unlike most makeup removers it didn't disapear from the skin, you had no choice but too wash your face afterwards. Which makes it impossible to use for fixing little mistakes with a Q-tip

Clothes -H & M - H&M clothing in general
rated 4 of 5
Kirs13 1/8/2012 11:18:00 AM

I don't know if the quality differ in different countries, but I'm from Denmark and I found most of their clothes to be nice quality, in fact almost all my clothes are from H&M. Here's a little pro's and con's list. Pros: It's cheap - Gotta say that is the biggest pro for me. Medicore quality - Good for the price, last 2-3 years in my experience. Lots to choose from - What more is there too say? Perfect if you are in need of basics - They always have cheap tops, undies and t-shirts in very nice quality, which I find is often expensive in other stores. Cons: Bra's - Though I heard from a friend that their "Perfect bra's" are very, very nice. They don't carry my size, so if your boobs are on the bigger side you might have trouble finding anything that fits. Sweater's: In my experience the sweaters (you know thoose made from wool or a cheap imitation of wool) are often itcy, it gets a little better after the first wash, but the sweaters I have from H&M I never wear.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Sea Salt Mask
rated 5 of 5
Kirs13 12/3/2011 4:24:00 PM

I just tried the Sea Salt mask and I gotta tell ya, I loved it. :P I put abit of salt and water on a small plate(underplate) and put it in the microwave for a little under a minut. When I took it out almost all of the salt had dissolved and the water was warm. I had it on until it dried. When I washed it off my face was extremely soft, and after using my toner and moisturiser it was even softer. I will try using this a couple of times a week from now on. I don't know it effect on my acne yet, which is what I am really interested in, but when I do I will update. :) UPDATE: So, I started using it as a toner a while back as my first all natural skin product, just mixing abit of salt and water together, because I found it easier to use like that. At first when using it like that it díd nothing for my skins softness and it maked my skin dry, but overall it seemed to have some effect on my unclear skin. Then less then a month ago I started using honey as a natual skin product as well and I have to say IT AMAZING! So if you are looking for a all natural skin product go check it out, I am going to write a review on it later. Anyway, when I used the honey before the salt water it prevented my skin from becoming dry and the last couple of weeks I haven't had a single blemish, while at the same times the onces I had before are healing and disapearing really quickly! I don't know if it is a combination of the two, but my skin looks better then it have for years!

Shampoo -TRESemme - Color Revitalize
rated 1 of 5
Kirs13 11/24/2011 5:24:00 PM

It made my hair REALLY greasy! Now I already have a pretty oily scalp, but with a normal shampoo(not one for greasy hair, just any other normal shampoo) I can go two days without washing my hair, the second day my hair is abit greasy, but it's not too bad and then the third day it is really greasy. With this shampoo my hair felt greasy(like on the second day) the first day after I washed it and the second day it looked like I hadn't washed it for a week. It smelled good and might be nice for people with dry hair, but this was NOT for me.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara
rated 5 of 5
Kirs13 11/23/2011 10:20:00 AM

So I bought this mascara the other day and... I LOVED IT!!! I can honestly say that this is the best mascara I have ever used. First let's talk about my problem, my eyelashes have a pretty good length, but they go downwards and I have never been able to keep a curl for more then a hour. This mascara holds the curl perfectly. At first I had some trouble with the application, but after a couple of tries I got it right. You see, this mascara has some flaws, but once you master it, it will give you brilliant results. First of all, the tube does nothing to hold back excess mascara and if you don't take some of it off it's going to clump alot.. And I think the tube is kinda ugly, but that got nothing to do with the product :p Here's what I do, curl my lashes with my Shiseido eyelash curler(it's great) comb my lashes with a clean mascara wand, just to make sure they are seperated and ready. Get the falsies and remove the excess mascara, apply it the way it says on the package(just one good coat) and I'm usually done! (Though sometimes I have to use the clean mascara wand to seperate them perfectly, still best mascara I have ever used. :p )

Mascara -GOSH - Eye Deal
rated 3 of 5
Kirs13 11/6/2011 6:25:00 PM

This mascara is really good at giving a natural look and is really cheap, at least in my country. I LOVE the brush, it separates the lashes really well, though it is abit long and I ended up poking my eye with it. This mascara is unfortunally not for me, though I really wish it was. It has one fatale flaw, which is a deal breaker for me, it CAN'T HOLD A CURL. So if you are looking for a mascara that gives a natural look and you already have naturally curled lashes, go for it. But if not, then this one is not for you.

Concealers -Max Factor - Mastertouch Under-eye Concealer
rated 2 of 5
Kirs13 11/1/2011 3:32:00 PM

I give it a overall 2. I love the consistency, it's easy to work with and looks natural. But, it didn't cover up my dark circles at all, maybe it made them abit lighter, but if that the case the change was too small to notice. Another thing I didn't like was how little there is in one wand, it would end up costing alot of money very quickly if you used it everyday. (Sorry for any spelling mistake, I'm from Denmark)
