Powder -Cover Girl - Clean Fragrance-Free Pressed Powder

Meh. This is an okay product. I really needed something, so I tried this. It works really well, the shade is great, until about three or four hours later.... then all of the sudden it's just GONE. I need a little more from my product. I didn't feel like it set my foundation and especially my concealer very well at all. Plus, it gets used up really quickly!! I use it almost every day and it only lasted a few months while my last powder from GOSH lasted almost two years... I think there is better stuff out there for your money.
I got this product on sale for $7 at Shoppers in Orchid Hush. It's an extremely sheer purply pink, nice for a light dewy look. I was a bit disappointed in the pigmentation for this shade. It doesn't show up too well on my cheeks although I'm quite pale. I'm hoping as my tan fades it will be nicer... The texture is weird. It didn't come out very well in my finger, so out of frustration I pretty much wiped it on my face and blended (haha!) THAT worked. Tomorrow I'll try a brush. Next time I see it on sale I might try it in brighter color, but it's definitely not something I'll be using regularly.
Mascara -Essence - get big lashes volume boost mascara

*This is for the non waterproof version of this mascara* I have tried the waterproof and it's almost as good, except I didn't feel the thickening was as nice and it is not as water proof as I like. I LOVE this mascara. The effect it gives my lashes (seriously thickening and decent length) reminds me a lot of my favorite mascara Bad Gal by Benefit. I'm usually the kind of girl that likes to invest a good sum of money into her eyelashes, so this was a total steal!! I got it for about $3.50 at Shoppers Drugmart, so I think it's worth a try for everyone. It glides on my eyelashes really nicely, and as long as you wiggle it back and forth as you apply it, it won't get clumpy. (Or unless you add 3+ layers, which is totally unnecessary!) It looks like I have fake eyelashes on. It's amazing. The main con is that it can smudge fairly easily (easier to prevent when you powder under your eye thoroughly) and when I cry with it on, it runs EVER WHERE on my face, like what you see in movies. It was almost awesome. The packaging is great, but not that classy (who cares). I absolutely love this mascara - it's my every day stuff unless I require a waterproof.
Eye Shadow -GOSH - GOSH Waterproof e/s stick in Love That Dolphin!

I would totally buy this again. Love that Dolphin is a great blue, super flattering with great color pay off. The packaging is convenient, I really like that you twist it and it lasts FOREVER! I got it for about $12 at Shoppers Drugmart a few years ago. Sometimes on a really hot day, my lids get a bit oily and it will get a slight crease mark, but it's easy to blend it out again. I also like how you can use it as a colored base for other eyeshadows and it makes them waterproof :) I love GOSH cosmetics :)
I love this mascara! It makes my eyelashes super long, fluttery and light, but thick and bold at the same time. (I'll have to post a pic) I was given it for Christmas in the "Glam therefore I am" makeup kit by Benefit. Unfortunately, it's a mini tube. At first I wasn't sure what to think of it, when I pulled out the applicator It was MASSIVE. I feel like I'm rubbing a bumble bee against my eyelashes (minus the stinger) When I'm wearing it, people always gawk at my eyelashes and say "are you wearing mascara? Or are your eyelashes just that dark and long?" Seriously. That's how amazing this mascara is. I only wish I had a bigger tube.
This is my favourite powder ever! I have it in 02 which is perfect for my cool skin tone. It makes my skin look incredibly smooth and clear. People are constantly asking what makeup I use because of it.Totally recommend, totally rebuying. I was swimming in hot springs and (didn't stick my head underwater) it stayed the entire time despite the moisture and sweat. It's perfect, like the other GOSH products. The puff thing is great too. My only complaint is the packaging. It looks nice but if you aren't careful, the lid snaps off. It still clicks on, but is a tad inconvenient.
Treatments -Burt's Bees - Doctor Burt's Res-Q Ointment

My parents always had this stuff around and I used it all the time. It's really good. heals fast, smells good. Nice product. My only complaint was that it felt kind of oily on the skin, but I can deal with that. This tin is really awesome too! you can use it for a lot.
Shampoo -Burt's Bees - Color Keeper Green Tea and Fennel Seed Shampoo

The smell is great. That's my favourite part about it, and everybody noticed the smell. When I was at this camp, my friend walked into the bathroom and knew I was in the shower by the smell! It seemed to preserve my colour quite well too, which is important since I dyed my hair red - that usually fades really fast) It cleaned my hair, moisturized it and made it SUPER shiny. Packaging was great. I loved everything about it. It was on the pricier end of what i like to spend (I'm cheap) but you are paying for quality.
I love this stuff! I always make sure i have it in my purse. I have it in rhubarb which is a bit of a pink cranberry colour (and am dying to get my hands on more) I've been using it for several years. It's not really shimmery, but has good pigment. It doesn't stain the lips tons either. It doesn't have much of a smell either, which I really like. The two lightest colours available look like they would have more shimmer, but seem like they would be mostly sheer. (good over a lipstain?) It would be really good for someone who wants a bit of colour to their lips (and moisturizing) but doesn't want to fiddle around with lipstick or stain. It's very moisturizing. I'm not sure what's in it but when I first applied it I had painfully dry lips. It stung a bit and they totally healed like no other chap stick would. It's fantastic. My only complaint is that the packaging is mediocre. I like how it looks a lot but if it ever gets warm in your pocket it melts like no one's business. (and stains) Also, if you are too rough with the twist up on the bottom, it can break. (discovered by my ex boyfriend *eye roll*) Those are really minor complains though in comparison to the quality of this product. I absolutely love it!
I really like this lipstain. I got it super cheap yesterday in 'feeling rosy'. It's much, much darker than what is advertised, but I was expecting it. It's almost like the ideal red lipstick (on my lips, which are very pigmented). It smells glorious too. I used it first in the car and my grandma and mother turned around like 'What IS that?" (then they ended up buying it too) Lasting power is good, not excellent. I'd say it would last about 6-8 hours if you're eating. Packaging has been good thus far.
I love this concealer. I've used it for years It fits perfectly with my cool milky skin. It lasts probably 10 hours without moving! :) Best concealer that I've ever used. I could just sing praises. I love the packaging. It's sturdy and easy to use every last bit of the stick. The only thing is you have to apply any cream under your eyes, or else it goes on a little dry. If you have cream under there though, it glides perfectly! Blends super easy, too. You could probably get a few extra hours out of it if it's set with powder, too. Totally buying again.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

I absolutely loved this. Accidentally bought charcol instead of black but it's still fantastic. It's super easy to apply (great brush!) and the pot it comes in is really nice. It just glides on and stays for ages. The only thing I don't like is that they don't give you a way to store the brush without damaging it. I just comes loose :| Over all, great product, great price. ***EDIT*** After wearing this for a bit I noticed that I got really dark smudges under my eyes. My mom had this problem with it, too. I don't have very oily lids and tried setting it with everything I could think of. So, it's okay. It just smudges really easily and falls under your eyes. I wouldn't really buy again.
This was one of the first foundations I used after searching for ages to find a brand that carried a colour light enough for me. It lasts all day, provides excellent coverage and leaves no pores behind. It should be used sparingly though or else it can look a little caked on and looks best with a powder to set it (I use GOSH's brand of that, too) I've never used it with a primer because it doesn't really need any. Packaging is great, you can get every last drop of it out. It's a little pricey but lasts forever. I've been wearing it for around three years and I'm just finishing up on my third bottle. (and I wear it just about every day) When you wear it, you must pair with a blush or bronzer! All in all, it's worth it!
This stuff is amazing... It's so water proof I'm almost afraid to use it. I have it in a bright blue, violet and forest green. Funny story: I was planning on doing some wild makeup and used the bright blue for the first time. I was in a bit of a hurry and realized it nearly matched my blouse so I went over it really quick with another colour. Then another. (in the end I settled on the green) The next day I tried to remove it and it took HOURS to remove all the layers I applied. This stuff is amazing.
This is my favourite pencil eyeliners and the first I tried. It's great, super smooth and very pigmented. I have it in black and white. I find the white doesn't like to stay on the waterline very long (maybe 4 hours until it's mostly gone) but the black would stay on for days if I didn't remove. Great product!
