Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - PHOTO FINISH HYDRATING FOUNDATION PRIMER

This is definitely on my list of HG products. I bought it at my local Sephora because the blue colour caught my eye, and I'm glad I did. Not only did this primer smooth my pores, but it was almost like a second moisturizer. It gave my skin an angelic glow underneath my foundation, especially when used in combination with Estee Lauder Double Wear. I have absolutely TERRIBLE skin. I have tons of acne, as well as tons of acne scarring all over my cheeks. But whenever I wear this primer, I find myself getting many compliments on how my skin glows despite the matte finish of my foundation. I'm very happy with this product, will be repurchasing.

I tried this product back when I was still learning how to put on foundation. I hadn't read any reviews on it, so I bought it rather blindly in the hopes that it would work for me. I use high-end products now, but back in my drugstore days I thought that this primer was fantastic at first. However, after using more high-end primers like Smashbox and Too Faced I realize that this doesn't really do much for me. Although it made my skin smooth, it didn't too much to make my makeup last, and was actually causing my foundation to crease and made me look drab and dull. In the end I dumped it. In the case of primers, unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I might recommend it to someone who needs something inexpensive who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with many fine lines or large pores.
