When you sit down to do your makeup, suggest placing it under your knee/leg - somewhere it will warm up because every makeup products glides better when warm. I don't use this as an eyelid primer (MAC paint pot in Painterly suffices quite well for me), I use this on my discolored eye bag. And only on the eye bag once it has been warmed up! Voila, eye bag is gone. Then cover it with a cream or liquid concealer and set with transl powder. Nothing has worked as good as this product has in eliminating my under eye circles. On the days I don't use it, my eye bags are still quite noticeable. This complelety eliminates that 'grey shadow', but only when used correctly. A Similar product/shade would be Illamasqua's under eye concealer, in the yellow shade. I use both to completely eliminate and brighten my eyes. The packaging of Lemon Aid is completely annoying though.

Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

I don't like it. It could be the fact that I may have the wrong shade for my skin tone, but i'm just not seeing the wow factor. For me it just blends into my skin tone, so I cant really use it as a highlighter (I have the lightest shade!). I don't like wasting products so for now I just use it to clean up my eyeshadow, by swiping it from underneath my eyes and extending it towards my temples. It helps create a seamless, clean look if your shadow application is abit messy. It does have a great texture though, never creases. I use it as a base/primer on my lids. Wouldn't purchase it again.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

Perfect for summer!! It is a light foundation, specifically designed for HD cameras and film, so don't expect thick and heavy coverage foundation (such as Mac). I love this because it literally just feels like your wearing nothing. In summer, i plan to use only one layer. For now I'm using one layer, but to build a little more colour and coverage I apply a 2nd layer on the centre of my forehead, nose, chin and under eye area. It is impossible to use too much because it is very light. Better coverage and staying power than a tinted moisturizer and light enough to look like you don't have foundation on :) just great skin... perfect!!

Concealers -It Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye
rated 4 of 5

Love this concealer! My favorite, BUT it needs to be used in conjunction with other products. I found by itself, It did not have much coverage when spread out. So i concentrate the product only on the actual eyebag. But comparing it to others I have tried it definitely is at the top because it has ABSOLUTELY AMAZING pigment (you need no more than a pinhead size, but even that sometimes is too much!). I usually use make up for ever's lift concealer first, all over my under eye area, between eye brows, tops of cheek bones and sides of my nose. Then I use the bye bye concealer directly onto the bag and dab (not smear!) it in with a concealer brush. Then use a teeny bit of translucent powder as it has quite a gel-like finish (bit shiny). As I said compared to others it is excellent!! But like all concealers, it has it's flaws. Definitely would buy again.

Eyes -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Cream 13

I haven't had much time to really test this product, so the first few times I was left disappointed. It just seems to cake on unevenly and give a dry, cracked look. I sat down today to try different techniques because I refuse to believe I wasted my my money (I generally love MUFE products!!). The best application for me personally, is to use a primer first. I use a teeny bit of smashbox on my lids and browbone. Next I make sure my finger is hot and a bit sweaty (sounds gross but when u have hot hands it breaks up the colour alot better and lessens the blotchy look). I swirl my finger into the product and then dab LIGHTLY onto the lid... Do not smudge or smear it on your lid!! Only apply to one eye at a time because it dries super quick. Then when it's dry I can do this step again if I want to build the colour. It goes on brilliantly and does not have a blotchy look to it. If the technique and application wasn't so difficult I would buy again. Be aware these products are extremely shimmery, it is always hard to work with shimmer so be prepared... but for now I'm content with my four shades.

Powder -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Medium [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

This was my first MAC purchase. I was getting over Mary Kay's loose powder (specifically because of the packaging) and needed a great pressed powder. Love this powder! It's great on my skin because it's much lighter and gives a great, flawless finish over my Clinique Liquid foundation. This is my everyday go-to powder. This is one of the only powders that really matches my skin & evens out everything. I am going to start using translucent powder, because I want to use less colour on my face & I want to experiment a bit more, but if that doesn't work out I am going back to this.
