Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black

Why is this mascara still being sold? Hardly anyone likes Great Lash to begin with, and then they throw in blackes black, and big, and all of these other products that don't make lashes look better than they do naturally! My biggest problem with this mascara is that the wand is absolutely terrible. It makes my lashes look ridiculously spider-esque. The wand is extremely lame. I was going to throw this mascara away, but then I had an idea. I picked up some of the mascara applicators they have at sephora, and I use those to apply the product instead. And let me tell you those are amazing. Other problems i have with this mascara is that it takes forever to dry and always finds a way to get onto my eyelids and under my eyes.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared

Finally a product by maybelline that I like! This mascara is great. It has a nice curved wand so it reaches a lot more lashes in one swipe. The Falsies Mascara leaves lashes very big in volume, and length. (although much more volume and length). a lot of product is applied to the lashes, making them look full without resembling spider legs. i use this mascara when I want more of a statement look with my eyes and lashes without wanting to apply real false lashes. Super good mascara for the price. Will purchase again.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush

There was a lot of hype surrounding this blush, especially in youtube videos. One guru in particular talked about this blush like it was the best thing she owned, so when I was at target and saw it, I picked it up. The gimmick of the blush is that it bounces. It was fun to play with the creamy texture for a while, but then it didn't bounce back up. So much for bouncy. applying the blush is easy enough, but i found that it wasn't very pigmented, and it didn't build up very well at all. Even when i got it to a colour i liked, it wouldn't last very long either.

Lips -Maybelline - Baby Lips - Peppermint

I do not understand the hype surrounding the new 'Baby Lips' lip balm. I purchased the peppermint one because my friends all recommended i try the new line, and was immediately disappointed. The texture of the product is heavy and leaves an unpleasant feeling on my lips. It doesn't sink into my lips, but just sits on top. This product did nothing to help my lips. The product is advertised as peppermint, and i couldn't taste or smell that at all, and neither could any of my friends. On top of that, the packaging is extremely tacky looking and cheap.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

I was in dire need for a new foundation, because my every day foundation didn't match my skin tone because I had bought it during the summer. I didn't pay much for this foundation because of a blowout sale, and I'm so glad. I would be extremely angry to have paid money for something i only have negative thoughts about. First off, the foundation isn't matte like it says it is. Only an hour after applying the foundation, my skin turned extremely oily looking and felt very heavy. If you touch your face at all, of if your glasses rest on your cheeks, like mine do, the make up comes off. So not only is this foundation disappointing by being a light coverage but having a heavy texture and feel, and coming off after an hour anyway, this foundation broke me out like crazy. I have stopped using the foundation for about a month and the blemishes still haven't completely cleared up. Overall, no impressed with maybelilnes Dream line.
