I love ALL of the Ecotools products! They aren't harsh on my sensitive skin, and apply any product flawlessly. I'll definitely be purchasing more soon, and grabbing another concealer brush while I'm at it!

Concealers -Bare Escentuals - Well-Rested For Eyes
KaylahJane 10/11/2012 8:42:00 PM
I absolutely ADORE this product. I have very, very pale/fair skin (to the point that I'm almost as white as paper..) and my dark circles are horrendous! Its all I even notice after I take my makeup off, and this concealer does WONDERS. I first use my Covergirl Neutralizer as a base, then I apply this on top! The Neutralizer helps tone down the color a tiny bit, but then this concealer gets rid of everything else! I find that if you don't use proper application (its different depending on how your eye sets I've noticed) it'll settle into fine lines... but if you apply it correctly, its wonderful! I absolutely LOVE this stuff! As for the packaging, I absolutely adore it. Just tap a little in the lid which gives you the perfect space for deciphering the amount of product you want to use. Love, love, love!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal Waterproof

I was so excited to try this mascara, and around the first week I noticed GREAT results. Then I started to notice that it would get flakey, clump together, and the mascara just wouldn't stay on really well. Its definitely a nice mascara, I just found that it didn't work too well for my eyelashes. :(

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Original SPF 15 Foundation
KaylahJane 10/11/2012 3:20:00 PM
My mom and grandma have been going on and on about how this foundation is their HG foundation, so I was dying to try it out! They are blessed with naturally tan skin, but I do love my porcelain skin quite a lot. I went to Ulta and found that the color 'Fair' matched my skin tone... but was a tad bit too dark. Since this is a major problem in all of the face makeup products I've purchased, I was a bit let down. I still tried it though! I immediately fell in love... ....until I saw my face that afternoon. I was an insane oil slick! I'll tell you, I've tried EVERYTHING with this product. No concealer, concealer, a lighter application, heavier application, pressed powder, no pressed powder, primer, no primer, and everything in between! Even when I apply the foundation I've found that the coverage and look just is a terrible combination. The color is also TOO DARK. :( I think its a shame that most makeup companies leave out the insanely porcelain girls! I also have very dry eczema spots and very sensitive skin. (Terrible combination; very oily skin, sensitive skin, and dry eczema spots.) And I found that it still looked terrible, but worked well for my sensitive skin. If you don't have paper-white skin, not that much too cover, and aren't very oily than this product could be your HG product!

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
KaylahJane 10/11/2012 3:13:00 PM
I had heard so many great reviews on youtube that I was extremely excited to try out this product. I got the lightest shade, C1 (I've still yet to determine if I'm warm or cool under-toned) and found that this color was WAY too dark for me. Even with the super blend-able capability, it left an unmistakable foundation line. Also, I have to use an insane amount of pressed powder so that I don't turn into an oil slick by the end of the school day! (I apply my foundation around 4:45 and I get out of school at 2:14) and the coverage is horrendous. I had to use a TON of my concealer because none of my redness was covered! I wasn't expecting a great amount of coverage, but at least a tiny bit of my eczema and acne to be covered, but was disappointed when it didn't cover anything. I was definitely excited to try out this product, but found it didn't work well for me. :( It might work well for others (as I said for the pressed powder...) with darker skin, but this just didn't cut it for me!

Pressed Powders -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder
KaylahJane 10/11/2012 3:09:00 PM
PROS- Good coverage. You don't look TOO oily by the end of the day. Super-pigmented. CONS- C1 is SIGNIFICANTLY darker than my skin tone, it looked like an orange mask. I feel that if you aren't so fair-skinned to the point of being paper-white, then this product would work well for you. It definitely has a blend-able capability, and I believe it has amazing coverage. It works well for the price and the sponge it contains works amazing for applying the powder. I'd definitely recommend it to you if the color matches!

Pressed Powders -Cover Girl - Clean pressed powder - Sensitive skin
KaylahJane 10/11/2012 3:06:00 PM
I purchased the lightest shade in this color and have almost used up the entire thing. The shade match is relatively close, its still a little bit on the darker side for me. It has pretty good coverage, not as much as I'd hoped. It can leave a cakey effect by the end of the day- especially for oily people, it does NOT stay matte- but for the price, I think its a pretty good deal.
