Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Skin

I bought this product after consulting with the least scary looking make-up artist at my local MAC store. (Hey, we've all had a few thoughts when it comes to the way some of the MAC ladies do their make-up!) I absolutely loved what the primer did to my skin! I've never primed before using foundation, so I was in awe of the way it smoothed my complexion. I eagerly purchased my sparkly cream and couldn't wait to go home and paint my own face! Fast forward two days - I now have a total of 10, 20, maybe 30 small volcanos along my jaw line, and they itch like a *****! So now, I'm dying to cover them up! More primer, stat! Within two weeks I'm looking like the epitome of what junior high kids call a 'pizza face'. I'm also sadly realizing that this primer is the culprit and that I will have to settle for a straight application of foundation for my daily routine. I said goodbye to what I thought would be a lifetime of flawless shimmery skin, but I also said goodbye to the worst breakout of my life! If you have sensitive skin, you should probably stray from this particular primer and invest in something else. If you absolutely must try it, be grateful for their 30 day money-back guarantee.

Shampoo -Matrix - Biolage - Hydrating Shampoo

When I first used this shampoo, I thought it was a God-send! My waist length hair was dry and fried from using tea tree shampoo for months and I used this shampoo (along with the conditioning balm) after a recommendation from a hairstylist friend. At first my hair was smooth, silky and gorgeous. Then my hair started shedding - then eventually falling out in clumps. (It got so bad I made my husband start cleaning out the shower plug so I wouldn't have to panic after seeing the amount of hair in there!) It took me a while to realize the hair loss started coincided with the use of this product. I immediately stopped using it and switched back to cheap, but reliable, Aussie Moist. My hair has slowly stopped falling out and just for good measure, I used the Biolage once again yesterday just to see what would happen and wouldn't you know, I had plenty of hair detaching from my scalp immediately after shampooing.
