Conditioner -John Frieda - Brilliant Brunette Light Reflecting Conditioner

My hair is long, curly, and on the dry side and this conditioner just didn't provide enough moisture for my hair -- despite the fact that I tried to use large amounts after initially getting ho-hum results. It did work better on the hair near the scalp, versus the ends (which are, of course, dryer). I just don't think this conditioner is the best one for that is at all dry.

Lipstick -Club Monaco Beauty - Crush

This -- along with Glaze -- is my favorite Club Monaco sheer lipstick. It's not very heavy, but is very moisturizing and can be layered for more vibrant color. It's also shiny without being thick or goopy like many lip glosses can be. I can't wear heavy red lipsticks (they look very harsh on me) with my pale skin/dark brown hair/green eyes. However, this sheer red really works for me, so I would recommend that you give it a try if you have the same problem with wearing red lipsticks. Unfortunately, as you probably know, the Club Monaco makeup line has been discontinued, so I've had to resort to eBay to develop a reserve supply until I have to resort to 3 Custom Color for their matching service. If you are near a Club Monaco outlet, stock up!

Shampoo -Philip B. - White Truffle Moisturizing Shampoo

I liked the clean, natural smell; however, this product did nothing special for my on-the-dry-side, curly hair. Also, it made my scalp very, very dry and gave me flakes. This product is frequently plugged in beauty magazines, so I really wanted to like it.... So, I tried a bottle of this product in the winter and, again, in the summer to see if I would get different results in warmer weather. Unfortunately, I still suffered from the flaky scalp when I used this product in the summer! While it's on the expensive side, it's very concentrated in terms of both forumalation and smell, so you only need a little.

Gels/Soaps -Philip B. - Chai Latte

This really does smell like chai (yummy!), but it is a STRONG smell so tread carefully if you don't like a heady smell for your body wash. It really is a great, invigorating smell, perfect to help you get going in the morning. I have oily skin, and thought that this product was moisturizing but not too oily. It is on the expensive side (try to find it on eBay or a sample size if you're wary).

Lipstick -Club Monaco Beauty - Sheer Lipstick in Glaze

I really like the color (plum/berry shade), as well as the consistency (sheer and not thick). It goes on easily and keeps my lips moisturized. A friend recommended it because she thought it would go well with my coloring (dark brown hair and green eyes), and she was right -- it really makes my eyes stand out. This is a staple in my makeup bag!
