Pros: 1. It's a pretty color. Cons: 1. Stung the skin around my eyes. That's bad. 2. Do NOT get it in your mouth. It tastes like perfume. I don't try to eat my cleansers but if accidentally it happens, it's never been this bad. 3. After rinsing, my face felt too small. You get what you pay for, and it was free. Now it's landfill.
I wanted to like this product because I always see it on my grocery shelf, and I would love to move away from my spendy ways. Ixnay. First, the pump dispenses so much freaking product, I was anti-wrinkling my decolletage, shoulders, and earlobes. Second and worse, it broke me out terribad. I mean, a rash, not pimples, a rash. I don't know what's in it and I don't care. I just want my face to stop burning and itching.

I'm almost 40, have always had sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin, and now I'm dealing with scarring and wrinkles too. Finding a cleanser that really cleans without stripping has been so stressful. I bought a travel size of this at Sephora so I could test it out for 30 days, and I'm amazed. It smells wonderful, the exfoliating beads are gentle but effective, and my skin feels better than it has in years. I've only been using it for two weeks (morning and night) so I will do a follow up after 30 days, but I'm pretty positive this one's a keeper. EDIT: Jan 15th-- I still love this one, but received Philosophy's Best Sellers as a gift, so I'm trying Purity for the time being.

I love this stuff. At almost 40, my skin is in major flux. I've been oily all my life with extremely sensitive acne-prone skin. Now I have minor scarring and wrinkles on top of it all, joy. I started using this product about a month and a half ago and I can't believe what I've been missing. Hope feels so wonderful on my skin, has given me no breakouts, seems to have corrected some scarring, and makes me glowy. I love the smell (call me weird) and the very light texture. I use this only after washing and toning, so my hands are very clean when I touch the surface of the product, and I'm the only one who uses it, so I'm not as concerned about contamination as some reviewers. I will definitely be buying this as soon as I run out--I bought the .5 oz. travel size and it's still a quarter full!
I've read quite a few negative reviews on Sephora's site that really helped me make some purchasing decisions, so I honestly believe that the issue was the overwhelming response. I also submitted a review and didn't see it post within 72 hours (and it was positive); by the end of the week I had an email from Sephora apologizing and giving me a promo code for free shipping on an order of $25. Let's not burn 'em at the stake just yet.
