Conditioner -Matrix - Biolage Ultra Hydrating Conditioning Balm

AWESOME CONDITIONER! I have the 500ml tub and I can see this lasting forever, a very small amount is all you need. I only dislike the tub packaging but otherwise this conditioner is amazing. I would recommend this for long dry hair, or coarse hair. Not so much for short, oily or fine limp hair. This conditions like nobody's business. The smell is that signature Biolage scent, I think it's my fav scent of all hair products. Smells fresh and somewhat organic, like green leaves with a hint of fruit. HG stuff!

Styling Products -Matrix - Biolage - Leave in Hair Tonic

Really good light leave in hair conditioner. I have medium long hair and this makes my hair so soft and easy to detangle. I use this in conjuction with a normal conditioner, because my hair is on the dry side. I spritz this into the ends of my hair on towel dry hair and comb through. The only thing I don't like is the smell. I use other Biolage products and they have that awesome, fresh, organic scent. This one smells totally different, sort of a pungent scent. That's the only thing I don't like about it so I took off a lippie. Luckily the scent fades and since I use Biolage shampoo and conditioner, those scents take over.

Makeup Brushes -Hakuhodo - Brushes

These are the best makeup brushes out there right now! Hakuhodo is the manufacturer of MAC brushes, but their own line of brushes is superior in quality because MAC commissions less expensive materials so they can have a higher mark up. These brushes are a trade secret, but if you can afford it, give them a try. They are the best quality hair! The Basics series makes some brushes at a more affordable price point, without reducing quality. I love them!!

Makes my nails very hard, stops peeling and splitting - overall this is a Godsend! I get asked all the time now if my nails are fake and it's largely thanks to this product.

for the color alone it would be 5 lippies but the consistency of it brand new is too thick, i will add thinner next time. Also had to take off another lippie for the horribly thin china glaze brush, i wish they would redesign their brushes. but the color is so unique, and i would repurchase

Polishes -China Glaze - Sexagon

This is the first holo polish I've ever bought (head2toebeauty.com) and I love the unique holo effect. That said, I did require 4 coats for it to be opaque, which was a bit annoying. I also hate China Glaze's too-thin brushes, but the polish itself is very cool and fun.

Polishes -OPI - Nail Polishes

I've only recently started using this brand I have to say I love it. IF YOU WANT TO BUY OPI FOR CHEAP!! Then order online at www.head2toebeauty.com (I'm not affiliated with this company, I live in Europe and order all my nailpolish from there now, it's so much cheaper!) This polish is incredibly smooth in texture, no bubbling or streaking, and most colors are opaque with 2 coats, the sheers need 3. The formula feels luxurious and high quality, I get very minimal chipping with this. Love this brand!! Like with all my polishes, I use Seche Vite Topcoat for a quick dry method within minutes.

Polishes -China Glaze - Nail polish

I love the originality and uniqueness of ChG polishes. They have very unique colors, and I love their holographic collections. I haven't had any issues with the drying speed, but that's because I use Seche Vite with all my nailpolishes and it dries them so fast. (Love that btw!!) The major gripe I have about ChG is the ridiculously skinny brush. I have to dip my brush 2 or 3 times in the polish to get enough of it to cover my thumb nails. My nails are long, so this skinny brush is just too thin for my tastes. I prefer the OPI pro-wide brush, but other than that, I love these polishes.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

This is an awesome top coat, the best one I have ever used. It dries my nailpolish layers within minutes and I don't have to wait a long time to use my hands again after giving myself a manicure. In combination with OPI Nail Envy and OPI nailpolishes, my nails have never looked so professionally manicured before! The one gripe I have is that I wish the brush was a bit wider and flatter, and the consistency is a tad on the thick side so I'm worried it will dry out fast. Not great for me because I have to order this online and live in Europe. But oh well, it's still an amazing top coat. I haven't noticed any shrinkage problem with the polish underneath. This prevents chipping of the nails for a good 4 or 5 days for me. The glossiness is amazing too!

Eye Shadow -Ben Nye - Lumiere Grande Colour

AWESOME palette for an amazing price. These shadows are of excellent quality and are so inexpensive. I am really wanting to buy more Ben Nye stuff, the quality is amazing and I can't believe how inexpensive it is. Just goes to show how much money goes to advertising, packaging, etc with high end brands, because BN quality is comparable to high end. The packaging and such may be more simple, but if you don't care about that, and want to experiment with fun bright colours, get this palette! I got mine from Bubbas Clownsupplies, an online store.

Lipstick -MAC - Satin Lipstick - MAC Red

A gorgeous deep cool toned red. This truly lives up to its name, because it's just that - RED! Love love love this shade! This may be my HG shade of red lipstick. I love the satin finish, it's so pigmented, glides on smooth, and stays so long on the lips! Combined with a lipliner, I had only very mininmal feathering after a few hours, much less than other red lipsticks I have tried. Fab colour and product!

Eyes -MAC - Paint Pot in Rubenesque

This is the 1st paintpot I've tried and I am not impressed. Thank god I got it in a swap. I just don't like the texture, the colour applies unevenly and left a weird cakey layer. When I applied the shadow on top, it was really hard to blend it and it didn't apply evenly overtop. I'll give it another whirl, but if it's the same again, I'm putting it up for swap. I hope someone else will get some use out of it.

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Bebe Young Care Mild Foaming cleanser (Milder Reinigungsschaum)

This is my HG cleanser in Europe. It is similar to the Dove Self-Foaming cleanser in N. America, which I used when I lived in Canada. But this product is actually superior! It comes in a pump dispenser which is really handy, and dispenses as a gentle foam. It definitely takes off all my makeup, even around the eyes and stubborn stuff like eyeliners, and doesn't sting or irritate my sensitive skin. It has a very mild fragrance which isn't cloying. The only thing it doesn't take off is waterproof makeup like some mascaras, because it's not oil based. This only comes in one formulation but it doesn't dry out my skin, although I do need to follow up with a moisturizer. I have purchased this cleanser again and again, I love it.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Bebe Young Care Soft Body Milk for dry skin

I was in the market for a new body lotion and came across this brand in Europe. It's great for medium dry skin without leaving an oily film, and soaks in quickly. If you have super super dry skin, you might need something heavier. This is perfect for those people in between normal and dry skin. The scent is nice, but I took off 1 lippy just because I would prefer the scent to be a bit more subtle. But for a cheap drugstore purchase, this stuff is really good! I like the cap of this because it can be stood on its head when product runs low.
