Amazing brush for applying gel eyeliner, I picked this up thanks to recommendations from other reviewers and am not disappointed!! It makes it so easy to apply a thin line or build a thicker line if desired.

Love this color as an every day look with Saddle in the crease. Beautiful pink/coral that blends well and looks good with everything. I really pack it on for a more evening look.

I love this color, it is a satiny light brown/taupe that is perfect for a neutral, every day look. I wear it with Saddle in the crease.

I don't wear foundation a lot, but for special occasions I like my skin to look more even, and this is perfect for that! It offers a natural look and is quick to apply.

Lips -TheBalm - Stainiac in Beauty Queen

I am an NW45 and this slightly shows up on my top lip, but does offer a slight tint for my bottom lip. I was fairly unimpressed at first, but my bf said it looks "nice and natural". As a stain, it leaves my lips looking a bit dry, so I added Stila lip glaze (cranberry) on top, and I like how the two colors layer for a more dressy (and hopefully long lasting) look. As for the cheeks part, it does not show up on my face at all. I got a sample of this through birchbox, so can't really comment on price or packaging for the full size product. Likely won't repurchase unless it offers long wear. Edit: I've been using this off and on and like it more and more. Granted, I will probably not ever wear it alone, but I like the extra punch it gives to the lip glazes I have. I would probably buy this again only for use as a lip stain.

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Vinyl Lip in Cosmic
rated 2 of 5

Milky-brown lipgloss, I tried it out when looking for a good neutral lip gloss. Liked it at first, but then I realized it looked kind of frosty on my pigmented lips, and in general didn't go with my skin tone (NW45). Okay texture, doesn't last long, and the writing on the tube rubbed off really quickly in my purse, which just made it look kind of trashy. Will not repurchase.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Brush On Shine
rated 5 of 5

I picked up another winner, thanks to MUA! I love this l/g; as one reviewer said, the consistency is perfect, and the color is great on me (DDD), a sheer brownish red with a subtle shine. I also found it on buymebeauty.com.

Eye Shadow -Milani - Java Bean (18)
rated 5 of 5

This is my HG everyday eyeshadow. On my skintone (GGG/DDD,NW45) it shows up very subtly and really enhances my eyes. Color has been pretty well described, but shows up more sheerly on me. Staying power is decent, though it creases on me without a base, but I have pretty oily eyelids. Will definitely repurchase when it runs out (it already has a significant dip!).

Lip Gloss -Mary Kay - Lip Gloss- Almond Glaze (#3145)

Second the reviewer below, this is one of my HG lip glosses. I use it many times a week, it's great to just slick on before heading out the door. The color is a great MLBB for me (GGG/DDD) though i bet it works for other skintones as well. Not sticky or drying, I definitely recommend it!

Lipstick -Clinique - Color surge lipstick in Sassy Spice
rated 5 of 5
Karlily 12/25/2005 12:23:00 PM

I really like this lipstick! The gorgeous color has been pretty well described by other reviewers below. Applied fully, it's a great color for going out, but I tend to wear it sheerly with a chocolate lip gloss for a more muted (and polished) daytime look. I find it goes really well with my DDD/GGG skin tone, but also could work on a variety of skin tones. It doesn't dry out my lips, and I think it lasts fairly long. I'm not sure about staying power, since I usually put it on pretty sheerly.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Blot Powder - Deep/Dark
rated 5 of 5
Karlily 12/20/2005 5:15:00 PM

I've been using MAC's Select Tint without powder for an easy, natural look. However, it can look a bit shiny at first, so I borrowed my mom's MAC Blot this morning and swiped some on. I just looked in the mirror, and was quite surprised by how flawless my skin looked! The powder really sets the foundation, without looking dry on me (I have dry skin, too) either. It does have a slightly more made-up look, but I'd rather that than the shinies! Definitely recommend, I'm going to have to buy some!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Lash Out
rated 4 of 5
Karlily 12/1/2005 12:51:00 PM

Pretty nice mascara, it definitely enhances my lashes, adding some volume and making them a bit longer. I would repurchase when this runs out. I don't know if I got an old bottle since it was on sale, but the goldish packaging is a bit tacky, and the maroon part rubs off. Overall, the prodect inside delivers, and that's what counts!

Moisturizers -Lumene - Tender Drops soothing moisture cream
rated 3 of 5
Karlily 9/7/2005 12:43:00 AM

I would not recommend this moisturizer if you truly have very dry skin. It feels okay when I first put it on, but soon after I end up putting some Curel over it because my skin feels dry again. My chin gets extremely dry and this has not solved that problem. I will allow one thing, my skin does feel a smoother right after I put it on. I also don't like the jar, I would much rather a pump. RIS, would not purchase. Probably better for those with more normal or combination skin.

Lipstick -Milani - cocoa butter
rated 3 of 5
Karlily 9/7/2005 12:08:00 AM

Great medium brown with a tiny hint of rust-red, a good neutral MLBB color on me (GGG/DDD). Fairly good staying power. This is a great timesaver, I just swipe, add a bit of gloss, and I'm out the door! Would purchase (RIS). Edit: Actually, it turns a bit too red on me to be a good neutral, I'm still looking for that HG nude color.

Lip Gloss -New York Color - Kiss Gloss - Chocolate Fudge
rated 4 of 5
Karlily 9/6/2005 6:47:00 PM

To second another reviewer, this is a great gloss for pigmented lips! I've had it for a while, and the smell has never bothered me. I love it for toning down lipsticks that are too bright, though I usually don't wear it alone. Not quite sure about how long it lasts, but I will definitely be buying another when I run out. Edit: I saw this in Wal-Mart the other day, and I think they've changed the formula. The color looked lighter than the one I have now, I guess I'll have to find another HG nude lipgloss.
