Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Lip Guard SFP 15 Bare Beach

I received Bare Beach Lip Guard in the Pure Moxie collection. I expected another greasy, clear gloss that doesn't provide any color and disappears into the lips within minutes. (SIGH!) I am a lip product junkie, so I know what I am talking about when it comes to glosses/tints/balms. This product does not go on clear (thankfully), provides a noticeable wash of color with a smooth, velvet finish, and it LASTS! This does not provide an ultra, intense shine like Buxom products, so it's perfect for the office or daily wear. It's a perfect alternative to a sheer lipstick, because it has enough color to define the lip and make your face look finished, and polished. The color is there, but sheer enough to allow for either a neutral eye or a heavy, smoked out eye. The pigment level provides a versatile finish for any make-up look. Also, the lip treatment properties are the best! It did not try my lips out as so many other "treatments" do (ironically). I will be seeking more of these out. I highly recommend this product if you want a sheer wash of color, for healthy looking, yet a subdued and sophisticated lip look! Bare Beach is a cool, muted mauve, suitable for all skin tones.

Fragrances -Marilyn Miglin - Four White Flowers

I agree with the previous reviewer, this is the ideal summer fragrance. It is not too sharp as some "white flower" fragrances can be, and not to sweet. It's a perfect balance of sweet floral, with a romantic edge. It is a unique white floral combination. I am so glad I discovered this one!! A real feminine classic!!!

Fragrance -Mary Kay - Domain

I love this cologne! It's soft, warm, sexy and romantic. I love the fact that it's not piney, woodsy, or overly sharp/biting, like so many men's colognes. It has an even better dry down than upon initial spray - so alluring! This was a great formulation by Mary Kay, and I wouldn't typically look to Mary Kay for fragrances, but this is a winner! I highly recommend.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Country Apple Body Lotion

You really can't go wrong with this delicious scent!! The scent is lovely, femenine, and not too strong, with a bit of sweetness and just enough fragrance. It's not an overly "foody" fragrance like warm vanilla sugar which smells like cake or cookies, a smell I would not want on my skin. The fragrance is not overpowering, yet enough to stay on your skin lightly for a few hours. I have not found anyone who didn't like this scent, both men and women seem to be very fond of it. This scent is more attractive than the "Irresistible Apple," which is a bit bland. It's your standard glycerin moisturizer which works best out of the shower or at night before going to bed. I am so glad BBW has not totally discontinued this scent. If a product has a 10 year + shelflife, then there is something people like about it. I highly recommend, as an alternative scent to floral or overly "foody: fragrances.

Fragrances -Paris Hilton - Heiress by Paris Hilton

Smells just like like that cheap perfume - DESIGN. I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer who said, "There are Suave shampoos out there that are more complex than this!" This has a super sweet scent and no staying power at all. It smells like a fragrance that would be released from the Barbie collection and marketed to little girls. The initial note is light and fresh, but it is followed by sickeningly sweet imitation of Design. Very unsophisticated scent!

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Diamond lust sheer shadow--all shades

These shadows are excellent and a nice surprise to find in the drugstore! They are extremely shimmery, something like you would find from Urban Decay (think Midnight Cowboy) and are easy to apply either wet or dry. I love them wet! I have several shades and I have to give them all thumbs up. Give these a try if you like Urban Decay/Too Faced/Hard Candy! Highly recommended.

Brows -Bare Escentuals - Eye Brow powder

Wow, I am so pleased I ventured to try this product! I had been using pencil for years, after seriously overtweezing in the mid-90's and had never considered using anything else until I read the reviews here and saw the product on QVC. This powder truly offers a softer look, as opposed to the drawn-in pencil look (which some may prefer). I was ready for a change, and I don't regret buying the powder and brow brush from BE. The amount of product will probably last me 2-3 years, so there are seriously savings to consider when switching from pencils. I have medium-light brown hair with reddish highlights and the "Auburn" (a rich, medium brown) color works wonderfully for me. Leslie Blodgett the CEO of BE, warns not to use the "Brunette" unless you have black hair. She says that dark blonde/medium brown is the color that works best for the majority of people. It took a few days to get the hang of application, because I am very concerned with symmetry and precision. I highly recommend this product!

This product FAR exceeded my expectations all around. I am VERY picky about what I use on my hair and I only expected a so-so shampoo with the lovely fragrance. Wow, did I underestimate Philosophy!! My hair hasn't looked this fluffy and full since I can remember, and I have extremely thin, baby fine hair. I am SOLD on this product. No wonder this won #1 slot for it's category on Sephora's best of 2006!!! This is an EXCELLENT SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER DUO - PERIOD.

This product FAR exceeded my expectations all around. I am VERY picky about what I use on my hair and I only expected a so-so shampoo with the lovely fragrance. Wow, did I underestimate Philosophy!! Toners -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Super-C Toner

I am so happy to have found a toner that doens't BURN when I apply it. I use this in conjunction with the Super C cleanser and they clear my acne better than salyic acid (which dries my skin too much and seems to cause more acne). I can't figure out why this calms acne, but I've read the same comments in other reviews. I will continue to purchase this. I heard vitaminshoppe and Amazon have good prices on Jason, if you can't find it in your natural grocery store, etc. What a great product!! I highly recommend!!

I love this body wash!! The scent is WONDERFUL - feminine and sweet, yet light and fresh. I find myself looking forward to my showers. I think the scent on all three "versions" is the same. I will continue to purchase. The product really does moisturize and leaves your skin feeling very hydrated after your shower. It has a rich lather, as well, which I love. I love the in-shower body lotion to use along with this, because I am a big fan of being able to BYPASS application of a cold body lotion right after stepping out of a hot shower. A++++ for OLAY!!

Scrubs -Neutrogena - Blackhead Eliminating Scrub

This product felt great going on, but this was the first product I have ever used that gave me a HORRIBLE BREAKOUTS of acne. I trust Neutrogena products so much that I thought it must be something else I was doing, but like clockwork, I stopped applying it for a few days, and my breakouts started clearing up. I tried again and the next morning I had a huge breakout AGAIN! I have to throw this away. I think the menthol they use irritates skin, because it's not the BHA. I should have listened to Paula Beoguin. She always blasts Neutrogena for including menthol which irritates skin and can cause breakouts.

This is another FIVE STAR product from SSC!!! For those reviewers that say this doesn't absorb, you must clearly be using way too much on your eyes. As the item description indicates, this is a thick and luxurious balm. If you are dispensing an entire pump's worth, this is too much for both eyes; half a pump is enough! I pat this balm with my ring fingers gently around my eyes, on my lids, and in between my brows. I don't have any problems with this product absorbing if you take the time to pat it around your eye. An eye balm that is for nighttime application is not supposed to disappear like a daytime moisture cream! It works and hydrates wonderfully overnight, leaving my eye area hydrated and brighter in the morning. This is an excellent product! If you apply an appropriate amount, you will not be disappointed. Thank you SSC!
