Nails -Unlisted Brand - Depend Nail polish
Kaleido 12/1/2012 7:14:00 AM
Depend has a wide range of polishes from black to green and orange to blue and every shade possible and they have a neat thing going; the bottles are tiny and cheap and it's very smart: that means that you don't have to get bored of a colour. It works like any other nail polish and stays on (of course a clear coat will help it stay on just like any other polish).

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Nimue Skin Technology - Exfoliating Enzyme
Kaleido 12/1/2012 7:11:00 AM
Nimue has a wide range of products and they are quality, the EE is a really good products that makes your skin feel soft after usage and it's an amazing exfoliant. The only con is the smell that can be translated as "fishy" but it goes away as soon as you wash your face (i.e don't leave it on wish should be obvious because this is an exfoliant). I'd recommend people to buy it if you need an exfoliation product. They are only sold in Europe though but can be ordered. I only have one problem with the bottle and it's because of writing: it flakes off.

Makeup Brushes -Sheer Cover - Studio Concealer Brush
Kaleido 12/1/2012 7:09:00 AM
I've tried using this for concealer but for me it's too whimsy, I've gone over to using this as a liquid latex brush instead. I like my brushes to be soft but firm so that they can cover, it's also just a bit too long and loses some properties.

Makeup Brushes -Sheer Cover - Powder Brush
Kaleido 12/1/2012 7:09:00 AM
I dislike the brush, it is way too rough on the skin and it always feels as if I've been scratching my skin after I've used it. This is NOT a good make up brush, especially not for powder. You are better off investing in a soft kabuki brush.

Concealers -Sheer Cover - Concealer
Kaleido 12/1/2012 7:05:00 AM
I didn't use a concealer until I got it in my Sheer Cover package but I really like it and I'd say the concealer is more important than the foundation in this case as it covers well. Pros: - Covers nicely - Doesn't look fake when used properly - Glides easily Cons: - The package is rather small - When taken with a finger it easily rubs off on the other colour - Doesn't cover well on dry skin/dried pimples BUT, I got this with the tan set and I am not that dark (tan/olive). The darkest colour in this concealer set is a bit too light for me.

Powder -Sheer Cover - Sheer Cover - Mineral Foundation
Kaleido 12/1/2012 7:02:00 AM
So I got this for christmas a couple of years back and I still have left overs as I don't use foundation daily; but get this: I am tan/olive coloured and not even that dark - I got the "tan" set and it was too light for me o.O I can barely squeeze by with the darker concealer. I think it's fairly good, I wouldn't throw it out (definitely not) and there are both pros and cons. Pros: + It doesn't feel super heavy + It actually covers if you do it right Cons: - If your skin is dry, it doesn't look very good - It doesn't really work to cover spots and your skin actually has to be "smooth" for it to work properly (i.e no bumps and dry skin). As I am struggling with spots this may not be the BEST cover up products but the places where I'm "smooth" (like red and dark spots) it covers very well. This is not a product for acne sufferers, this would be for people with pigmentations and such.

Lip Treatments -Vaseline - Lip Therapy
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:58:00 AM
OK, vaseline in general is just a good thing to have, it is a really great product. I use this especially at winter when the weather gets my lips all dry, it's an amazing and cheap product who I would recommend for everyone. Just keep in mind that not everyone can use this on their face without clogging their pores but some CAN.

Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Veet Ready to Use Wax Strips for Face and Bikini
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:56:00 AM
I originally hated this product, it ripped of the skin on my underarms and I couldn't sleep because of the pain, Veet had to reimburse me for the product and the cost for a salve to treat the ripped skin (I am not allergic to any type of wax). I retried it years later on my bikini line; the skin their is NOT as frail as the skin on your underarms. The wax catches on a lot easier and now I run around to try to find this exact wax. So yes for your bikini line, no to your underarms.

Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Veet Spray-On Hair Removal Cream
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:52:00 AM
The smell is weird, it's somewhat of a hassle and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with with sensitive skin. It gets a lot of hair out but not everything and if you use it a lot it tends to leave tiny scars (not discolouration, a scar as if you're skin has cracked right open).

Fragrances -Paris Hilton - Heiress by Paris Hilton
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:49:00 AM
I've had it at home and I like the smell as it is sweet, sometimes it feels a bit too girly and cute. It doesn't really suit adults but if you love sweet scents then this is it for you. I'm not really a fan of the bottle since it's tacky. Not really anything I would buy again but something I could enjoy wearing with friends or just on the town.

Makeup Brushes -H & M - brushes (in general)
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:48:00 AM
Their brushes are really cheap and I bought my most frequently used brushes from them. They're actually very good for their prices.. Especially their "pencil" brushes. I didn't buy my foundation brush from them since I thought it was OK to buy one that was a tad more expensive. They carry the most necessary brushes for makeup though I would NOT advice you to get their blush brushes, I've felt them and they're too harsh for the skin.

Eyeliner -H & M - Dipliner
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:45:00 AM
I really wanted a dipliner but I wasn't prepared to pay 30$ for something I'll hardly ever use. So when I saw that H&M it was only around £3 I bought it. I like it, you really need stable hands for it or at least be able to control yourself. It smudges a little with water or when rubbed but I won't pull of a point for that as it doesn't state that it's waterproof. If you have it tight with money or just really want a dip- or "liquid"eyeliner then this would be for you. Though one this is that because it's a liquid liner it won't give of a "glossy" finish as with gel liners.

Clothes -H & M - H&M clothing in general
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:42:00 AM
H & M is everywhere and is easy to access with simple clothes. I remember buying a really popular dress (sold out in one day I got the last one) and it was like £10 or something like that. The quality of their clothes are good, especially when it's cheap, I'm only a teenager and even I can afford to go shopping there several times. They have expensive stuff as well as cheap ones.

Mascara -Max Factor - Masterpiece Max
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:40:00 AM
This is a really good product and I like it; it doesn't lump up the lashes and it stays on all day and makes my lashes longer (though I don't have short lashes to begin with). It doesn't really break the lashes and it isn't removed by water alone (which is good). The packaging is very "Max Factor" with gold and black and I would recommend it.

Foundations -Max Factor - Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation
Kaleido 12/1/2012 6:37:00 AM
My mom had a sample of this product and I took it with me once when I was still cheerleading, it's in "cake form" and it's almost liquid and really smooth. I put it on before I competed with a sponge (I would recommend a brush) and I was surprised at how easy it went on; it was smooth on my combo skin and it lasted all day through harsh competition so I wondered what it would do on normal days. I used nr 70 natural which looked rather great at the time, but I went back a few years later and bought the darkest (or almost darkest) shade they had and it turned out that in natural light it was way too light for me. It's ashame that they don't carry my tone.
