Lipstick -MAC - Hue
Kaipiroska 7/14/2011 4:27:00 AM
This is the perfect nude for me, it is as nude as I can go, everything lighter would be too pale. It is a bit drying so don't forget to moisturize lips, and use lipbalm before applying. It smells and tastes nice, nothing too much, which is a bonus. The only downsides for me is the price (well, of course, it's mac!) and maybe also packaging. Because all Mac lipsticks have the same, not see trough packaging, I always tend to grab a wrong one in the drawer. It kind of annoys me and that's why I give it 4 and not 5 for packaging.

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Cream Eyeshadow (duo): Butter Pecan
Kaipiroska 7/14/2011 4:17:00 AM
I bought this one and Mocha Swirl duos, but for me, they are just plain useless. They will crease on me, regardless of what I do. I use UDPP under, trying setting them with powder, shadows, nothing works. I do however have pretty oily eyelids and kind of hooded eyes, so I guess that's the reason why while so many others like them, these shadows are just not for me. Colors are nice thought, and shows good on my pale (nw15) skin.

Bronzers -E.L.F. - Studio Warm Bronzer
Kaipiroska 7/14/2011 4:06:00 AM
I think this is a good product, and for the price, definitely a bargain. Good size, nothing wrong with the packaging, and this product gives a good subtle shine, nothing too much. I agree however that this bronzer is not highly pigmented, but it is not necessarily only a bad thing. For light skin, and I am nw15, it makes it easier to work with, without getting too dark, "dirty" patches on your face. I did stated however that I will not repurchase. Even if it is a fairly good bronzer, and it's going to be used, it is not a "must have" for me. And after I'm finished with this one, or probably even before, I will rather try something new.

Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation - Intensive formula [DISCONTINUED]
Kaipiroska 7/12/2011 3:50:00 PM
I'm sorry to say but I'm joining the "disappointed club". I was using EM for 2 years, loved it, was my favorite brand. I got bases, shadows, blushes, brushes and lipsticks from them and was fairly happy with everything, specially foundation and brushes. And I got so many complements for my skin! All my friends wanted to know what foundation I'm using and buy the same. Yes, I had to use a primer to keep it from patching and to apply smoothly, but that was it. But then I started to get these breakouts on my neck line, deep, painful, and they would not go away for long. I stopped using EM and they disappeared, but I would not give up on EM so easily! So sometime later I tried again, I started using EM, and breakouts came back almost immediately. And I repeated my experiment again.. There is now no doubt in my mind that they were caused by EM. And I don't know what happened, did they change the formula, or my skin just got "tired" of it.. But I don't think that is because lauroyl lysine, that ingredient is in many products (toners, eye shadows, powders) and I never got any reactions to that. So - 5 stars if you don't get those break outs, and using a primer. But for me, it is useless now, and it's a pity.
