Ok I was waiting a few weeks to review this because I tend to be very fickle about foundations. I can now officially say that I love this stuff. I have normal to dry skin which tends to get red very easily, and this is light weight yet has great coverage. It makes my skin look glowy and flawless. I set it with my mineral powder and it’s perfect. I tried applying this first with the 192 brush, but it works much better for me applying with the 190 and then buffing it in with the 187. Love the packaging, and I don't find it to be terribly expensive because you literally need a pea sized amount or less. This tube will last me for ages. Oh, and like other reviewers I did notice it ran dark. I’m normally NW 20 and NW 15 was a much better match.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

This is an hg product for me. It goes on super easy, lasts all day, and can be played up or down depending on what look you are going for. My only problem with it is that sometimes it stays too well. It takes some serious eye makeup remover to get this stuff off. I've had a different black fluidline before (glitz and glam I think?) and the texture of blacktrack is sooooo much better. I love it.
Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Smoothing Body Butter

I adore this stuff. It moisturizes so well, sinks right in and makes my skin feel soooo soft all day. I agree the scent is alittle off. Its not unpleasant to me, but it could be better. Its got that distinct cocoa butter smell to it. Anyhow, it fades quickly on me and doesn't interfere with any of my perfumes, so I don't mind. I was a devoted body shop body butter user, but I like this stuff better. Also, it slightly expensive for a drugstore product, but you can almost always find it on sale.
oooh I love this one. On me it looks sort of bronzy/champagne colored. It looks great with blue eyes and really makes them pop. I knocked off a lippy cause its a bit hard to work with, and the shimmers tend to fall on my cheeks if I don't apply with a base.
Fragrances -Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Vanille Abricot

I wish I could give this 3.5 lippies, but I rounded up. I have this but I didn't pay full price for it, nor would I. Its very sweet, which I don't mind, and alot more vanilla than apricot. It's sort of a comfort scent for me. Smells like sugar cookies or baked goods, which is nice for someone with a sweet tooth. I didn't think the lasting power was very good, and I could not smell it at all on myself after about an hour, but then I got a compliment on it several hours after that, so I guess I was wrong. Overall, I like this for casual lazy days. Its nice for what it is.
Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb

I've been wanting this one for a while and have sampled it numerous times. Finally got a bottle for christmas and I couldn't be happier. This isn't one that I would wear everyday, its more of a night time/going out special occation fragrance for me. It is sweet, but it has a spicy zing to it that is hard to explain. I can smell the patchouli when first sprayed for about a half an hour, which I don't normally care for, but it doesn't bother me in this fragrance. This is strong, so its not one to overspray, and I don't think I would wear this in very warm weather. It lasts for hours and has great sillage. I would buy again, but I don't think I'll need to for a very long time. I knocked off a lippy for the outragous price tag.
Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning lotion
KRISTEN34 12/21/2008 3:42:00 PM
I love this whole line. Its inexpensive and works great. I like the smell too, which is sort of beachy, but light. I think this lotion actually works better for me than alot of the higher end lotions that I have tried. I have the lotion, the body butter, and the gel oil, and the only one Im not sure about is the oil. I like useing the body butter at night, and the regular lotion after showering in the morning. My skin has not been this soft in a while.
Fragrances -Stella McCartney - Stella- Eau de Parfum

Gorgeous perfume. Its like walking through a sexy rose garden. It manages to be feminine, sexy, and classy all at the same time. And I absolutly adore the bottle, which doesn't hurt either.
I love this color! Its so fun. I just put it on my nails for a holiday party, and I can't stop staring at it. I love the red sparkles when it hits the light. Can't wait to try it on my toes next.
LOVE this stuff. Its so moisturizing and gentle, and yet effective. I've tried the cucumber melon and the yuzi and I love them both. It is inexpensive, and yet the texture is very luxurious, much better then many more expensive shower gels. I recently bought some dial shower gel out of convienience because safeway didn't have this stuff, and my skin is so not happy with me.
This is one of my go to crease shades. I got this in the smoking eyes pallette, but will definitely purchase again as a single. It goes with just about anything, and can be played up or played down depending on the occasion. I normally put this with shroom, rice paper, or sometimes even all that glitters.
Palettes -Too Faced - Quickie Chronicles - The Sex Kitten
KRISTEN34 11/24/2008 4:50:00 PM
I love the eye shadows in this quickie. They are so pretty and blend so well together. I like the green as a wash, and then the dark purple in the crease with the light purple as a highlighter. For reference, I am very fair with blue eyes. I have 6 or 7 quickies, and I would say I use this one the most. The glosses are pretty colors, although I find the texture and quality to be so-so. I don't tend to use the gloss or the blush all that much at all actually. I got this for dirt cheap off ebay, so I would say it is worth it anyhow. Not to mention the adorable packaging. I would probably have been suckered into buying this for that alone.
mmmm this is a very pretty floral. It smells like honeysuckle and lilacs to me. It is pretty strong and sharp when first sprayed, but after a bit it mellows into a very feminine elegant smell that reminds me of a sunny spring morning.
This is so cute, but the smell does not last at all on me. I much prefer the edt version of pink sugar. I guess its nice to be able to carry this around and use as a pick me up, but I really can't smell it all all after about 15 minutes, and on me there is absolutly no sillage. I'll use it up, but wont repurchase.
One of my very favorites for a "no makeup" look. Also works as a base for just about anything. Its a neutral, almost peachy champagne color with a glowy sheen on my skin. It really lights up my face and brings out the color in my eyes while looking very natural. I was hesitant to get this one because of the name, but its definitely not "glittery" like it implies.
