Oh how I wished this would have worked for me. I love the glass pump bottle. I did find the color matched me very well. The problem was it broke me out. I had three painful zits after using this. I can't remember the last time I got a zit. Lucky you if this works for you. Especially since it's as cheap as chips!

Moisturizers -Alpha Hydrox - 10% Enhanced Cream
Justina17 1/3/2012 3:13:00 PM
Oh my god - finally a skin care product that lives up to the hype (for me). I'm 38 and just had a baby so my skin has been going through hell. I previously used retin A but stopped when I had my first child (it made my skin hyper sensitive anyway). I've been using it for a few months now so I could really whether or not there were real results. My skin is uniform, haven't seen one pimple, is not sensitive (my skin blushes easily aka very sensitive). Even my mom who never notices anything said me skin looks very even. So far I've only been able to find it in Canada from ebeauty.ca. I bought another 4 jars just in case. The cleanser is great also. I got the creamy one since I don't have oily skin anymore and it's also winter here. Hope this works for others as well as it has for me.

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Grandpa's Thylox Sulfur Soap
Justina17 1/25/2011 9:25:00 PM
I can't believe how wonderful this soap is. My skin is way better (I've been breaking out regularly since I had my LO), it feels better. Doesn't leave a film and yes it can be a wee bit drying but I prefer that than leaving a film. I just dab on a little of Olay (which has also been helping me). I've tried a lot of things but this is the best cleanser. I also can't believe the price and I love the package. I hate having to use things that come in plastic bottles - too wasteful! I'm definitely going to stock up!

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Baby Bee Diaper Ointment
Justina17 1/15/2011 8:52:00 PM
My LO had developed a nasty rash from teething, It was the first time ever in 19 months. I usually use Triple paste on her but it wasn't strong enough. This rash lasted over 2 weeks. When I was finally able to get my hands on this ointment the rash was better after one day and gone by the 2nd day. The scent is strong but it's lavendar oil which heals skin. It costs more than the typical diaper creams but a little goes a long way. I won't be her everyday cream but I will keep a tube on hand for emergencies.

I finally found the perfect eyebrow filler. Looks natural, easy to use, fills in the "part" I have on one of my eyebrows and is super cheap. I will definitely be stocking up in case they discontinue!

Polishes -China Glaze - Ruby Pumps
Justina17 10/2/2010 3:00:00 PM
Let me begin by sayin I love love love China Glaze. I've been using China Glaze polishes for over 6 years now. But I have to say I'm underwhelmed by this polish. Yes it's red and yes it's sparkly but I guess I was expecting more. I reminds me of the cheap nail polishes from the mid 80's. I like red polishes for my toes but this one just doesn't do anything for me. Sorry

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey
Justina17 5/18/2010 9:37:00 PM
I wanted to buy this color for a while but it is so far from what I usually wear. It was on sale (1/2 price - $2.50 CDN) too cheap to pass up. I love the brush. I love how you can get to the edge of nail and not paint on the cuticle. I actually prefer to wear only one coat of this polish. It looks less intense, more sheer. I'm also impressed on how lasting it really is, especially for a darker color. I put my hands through so much and after 2 days of abuse there were no chips. Too bad there weren't any other colors that I liked.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

I bought this on sale so I can't complain about the price. I remember loving this when it first came out years and years ago. I was very disappointed with it now. Way toooooo clumpy.

Polishes -Milani - Black Cherry
Justina17 10/14/2008 11:09:00 AM
Yes you have to put on a few coats to get the color even but it stays on amazingly. I didn't even put on a basecoat which is necessary with a dark color like this. I usually use OPI, China Glaze or Essie but this is amazing.

Shampoo -Giovanni - Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo
Justina17 9/26/2008 10:41:00 PM
I really, really wanted to love this shampoo. I used the TTT shampoo and loved it. This one smells so yummy and makes a rich lather to but....but I found I was shedding to much (I can see scalp a lot clearer) and it was giving me dandruff (something I never suffered from). Too bad

I'm sorry but this just underwhelmed me! I hate the smell and I prefer Biolage balm for thick hair. I have a small tube of this and the Oleo-Relax on swap list for any girls who were lucky with this product (unused of course). In a way, I'm grateful! If it did work, it's not cheap.

Hair Color -Wella - Color Charm Conditioning Permanent Gel Haircolor
Justina17 7/26/2008 10:20:00 AM
Not a fan. Used this yesterday and man did I wake up to a nasty headache this morning (even though I rinsed like hell). I had the same experience as Kirsten. My roots were orangy (didn't cover the greys well at all) and dyed the lenght very very dark (even though I followed someone else's advice and put oil on the length before coloring). I am tempting to get some Color Oops and rinse this out but my poor hair has been through sooo much abuse lately. Honestly I'm getting very tired of it. It's become very clear to me now with the amount of grey I have, keeping my dark hair is not an option anymore. I think I am going to have to find a good professional and bleach it to death. If anyone has some advice or experiences to share, I would gladly appreciated it.

Sunscreen -Sofina - Perfect UV (UV cut milk Extra Block) SPF 50 + PA +++ [DISCONTINUED]
Justina17 6/28/2008 5:56:00 PM
I was so happy when I first used it. After a few weeks I noticed it was making my skin very flakey within minutes of putting it on. I'm sure this is because I use retin A but that won't be changing any time soon. It must be the alcohol as a previous review mentioned. Anyway, back to my quest for the HG of SPF. On the plus side, this did not make me breakout, blended well and didn't leave a white film on my skin. Too bad it didn't work out. PS I ordered brom Bobodave online and got it in less than 2 weeks. The packaging was discreet and they marked it as a gift so I didn't have to pay duty. I definitely would order from them in the future.

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Mr. Pumice - Pumi Bar
Justina17 6/18/2008 11:01:00 AM
I have been using this for years and so far it's been the best. I stock up whenever I'm at Sally Beauty (between 99cents and $1.59). It's easy to use, just leave it in shower (make sure not to let it sit in water when your done). Does a way better job than the ped-egg thing and easier to remember to do. I wear flip flops like crazy and have very dry heels but no one knows, not even the girls who do my pedi's.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Cream
Justina17 1/28/2008 9:29:00 AM
So far this has been a life saver. My skin was sore from RetinA and was seriously (I mean terribly) broken out by LRP. I had monster zits all over. I was desperate and I remembered my dermatologist recommending this years ago. I decided to try it (it was only $9). I really needed something to get rid of the dryness and since I was already looking like my chin was covered in pepperoni I had nothing to lose. Well in 3 days not only did it not make me breakout. It leaves my skin feeling smooth. Almost as if I didn't put anything on it at all. No greasy oil slick. My skin is not feeling burnt or sore. I wish I would have tried this sooner. EDIT: I had to give this a 5 now that I've used it for a bit. This has been a life saver with my RetinA skin. I feels like nothing when you put it on. I found myself thinking, "how could this work"? But it makes my skin feel so baby smooth. It's so much cheaper then most facial lotions and creams yet is sooooo much better. EDIT: I had to stop using this when it got too cold outside. My skin became so dry that even this hurt it. Then I discovered Skin Food. That and the coconut oil got me through the harshest winter days..
