Love it.. tried everything from high end (Dior, Dr. Hauschka) to low end.. almost everything broke me out.. now I'm using Nivea cleanser & moisturizer and my skin is quite normal. Love it and won't change my routine ever! dirt cheap & works like a charm

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Blush in Gingerly

I got this from my aunt who didn't like it, and I must say I'm quite pleased she gave it away. It looks kind of scary dark in the pan (I'm a NW20 in SFF) but it's quite nice as a contourcolour for me and a contour/bronzery colour for when I look extremely pale :P would recommend. (maybe not so much for superpale skin)

Eyeliner -MAC - Penultimate Eye Liner - Rapidblack
rated 5 of 5

WOW! I've been hooked on Blacktrack Fluidline and my 266 brush for a while now (cateyes every day! lol), but this is so much better!! I got it yesterday and did a little test, I swatched both the liners on my hand to see which one would look like a truer black, which one was more precise and which one stayed on the longest after washing my hands and what not. I have to say, in all three categories the Penultimate liner won by far! Okay my 266 isn't as pointy & sharp as it used to be, so that could be the reason my blacktrack didn't seem as black, but you get the point.. *no pun intended* So I applied the swatches about a day ago and the Penultimate liner is still slightly visible and the blacktrack swatch was completely whiped off. (after about the first washing already). Now for the eyes: the Penultimate liner looks like a sharper line which you can make as thin or thick as you'd like. I feel that I couldn't create a thin line like this with my 266 brush. I think the only problem one could have with it (maybe for those just starting out with liquid/creamliner) is the harsh point on this liner, it's not as soft as a brush, but it's pretty foolproof otherwise. I'd recommend this to anyone and will purchase this over my fluidline any day!

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Lilicent ] [DISCONTINUED]

Okay I'll start off with saying this colour is GORGEOUS (at least on me, NC20 and it seems a lot of people here like it a lot too!) colour is a nice darker pink to the peachy caramel side.. It blends quite well actually (could be the holy 187, I must say), didn't really expect it would when I started out with creme blushes.. this particular colour I would describe as: young and dewy pink, but just a hint prettier than natural or bare skin. Now for the bad part, it breaks me out like NOBODYS BUSINESS! I generally don't like the consistency, it's kind of thick and sticky/greasy (which you don't see btw it looks really nice) and feels like I'm wearing a mask. damnit I want to like this so bad and I do love the colour but I can just see the whiteheads start to form and grow when I wear this, at the end of the day I have at least 2/3 new ones where I wear the blush :( normally I hardly break out on my cheeks so I know it's this product. and if anyone knows a brand that offers a similar colour but different formula, please let me know.. I'd be very grateful! Until then, on goes my search. for those of you lucky bastards who can wear this formula, it's up for swap :)

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Oil Cleansing Method OCM

Okay so I too read the reviews here and was so exited!! I changed my routine to dr. Hauschka, cause I wanted to put more natural products on my face & body.. What I did was steam my face every other day and I mixed 50% CO and 50% EVOO and messaged this on for a few minutes. Then I rubbed this off with a warm/hot washcloth. It did feel cleansed and lightly moisturized afterwards, BUT after about 2 weeks I got some small bumps here and there. I figured it was the purging some people had discussed. So I sticked with it, which was a HUGE mistake. I got really bad cystic pimples all over my face and blemishes on my cheeks, which I normally hardly get.. I didn't feel this kind of nasty, embarrasing purging was worth it, even if it did turn out better later on.. which I doubt it would anyway!

Lipstick -MAC - Slimshine in Bare ] [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5

WOW! I absolutely love this colour! it looks pretty nude, but in a lush "look at my purdey lips" kind of way. It's like lipstick & gloss in one. The staying power is average though.. and once it wears off I sometimes get that gross-looking whiteish residue on the corners of my lips, but other than that BEAUTIFUL! *have bought an extra*

Fragrances -Gucci - Gucci Rush
rated 5 of 5
JulietF 9/16/2008 3:25:00 PM

This is my HG perfume. Sometimes I buy lighter scents for daily use, but I always go back to Rush. Perfect for a night out, cause it's kind of lushious and on the heavier side. I have gotten a few compliments for wearing it too =). The smell and red colour of the bottle reminds me a bit of Emporio Armani's night. *it's a scent that people recognise out thousands, yet not a lot of people (at least the ones I know) wear it*

Polishes -OPI - I'm Indi-A-Mood For Love

Boy I was so excited on this one, after seeing really nice swatches. Then it came in and I had high hopes.. tried it on my toes, I was kinda blah about it at first, but then I found out that more layers is definately the trick! I kind of like this one on my toes but I think it's absolutely hideous on my fingernails! I don't know why, I think it's tends to look more deeppink towards purple than really pinkpink, if that makes any sense :)

Treatments (Eye) -Mavala - Double-Lash
rated 3 of 5
JulietF 7/20/2008 10:14:00 AM

I'm a little on the fence on this one, but overall I do like it. I've been using it for over a month now and I can say it did make my lashes a little thicker and stronger (not as much fall out anymore, or when I tug at them that like 10 come out lol) Also they're more even now, I used to have little gaps from the ones that fell off/came off but they seem more even. I guess they do grow BUT I don't see that they're longer at all.. I think I will repurchase but just not for the growth-factor. EDIT: On my second bottle now, but this one doesn't seem to do anything at all for my lashes.. Maybe it's me and I bought a fake bottle (online) but yeah..

Polishes -OPI - Go on Green
rated 1 of 5
JulietF 6/11/2008 7:10:00 PM

I bought this cause I thought it'd at least be between green and blue, as the name states go on GREEN but it was an aweful light blueish colour on me. Very sheer and made my hands look weird, will def. not repurchase and prolly give it away..

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Aspirin Mask
rated 2 of 5
JulietF 4/20/2008 7:03:00 AM

i've used this mask twice this week and what can I say? the reviews don't lie! I've used 4 uncoated tablets and mixed them with drops of water and about 1 tablespoon of honey. I left it on for about 10-15 mins. And I must say I've found that I have softer skin, smaller pores and today I noticed my cheeks were kinda dewy with just a little bit of glow! wow! Haven't noticed any bad things about it (yet) and my skin is pretty sensitive for just about anything! doesn't dry my skin out but I shower afterwards and directly put on moisturiser after that! Edit 07/20/2008: I've been using this a few times now not daily or even weekly, but I have the feeling it doesn't work as well as the first few times. It dries out any pimple like a charm, but overall it doesnt do a lot for my skin anymore.. (maybe it got used to it or something.) Edit 10/07/2008: I used this for about 45 mins. with about half a teaspoon of organic honey (I guess normal honey is too harsh on my skin) and it worked amazingly.. This keeps my skin from drying out too much and it looked much better afterwards!
