I really wanted to like this product but this just doesn't work for me. It's not terrible, but it's also not everything I was hoping it to be. I can see myself maybe using this as a moisturizer when not wearing makeup but I'll stick to something lighter when I'm wearing makeup. There is a strong medicinal smell which may bother some people but I don't mind it and it doesn't seem to linger. If you're on the fence about trying this, try the small bottle first.
I have been pleasantly surprised by this product. I have two colors and hope to get more. They're a balm-like lip color that offers a pop of nice sheer color. Recently I've been into color balms (i.e. Revlon Lip Butters) because I want a pretty lip color without the heaviness of a full lipstick. I do have to touch up after a few hours but nothing major.
Moisturizers -Olay - Fresh Effects Satin Finish Lotion
Juliet7781 4/4/2013 8:57:00 AM
I was excited to try this product. I have oily skin, but it is dehydrated so I need a moisturizer. Let me say, there is nothing "fresh" about this product. It is not a lotion and it's not a gel...it's sort of in between. It reminds me of a primer because of all the silicones in it. But for me this does not moisturize. It does not sink in to the skin either. And the smell is like the other Olay products which I cannot stand. The sad part is that this product did nothing and i paid $15 for it. I might as well have bought the small size of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for that price. It would have worked better.
Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Spray & Go Moisturizer

I was intrigued by this product and bought the Total Moisture in the yellow bottle. There are things I like and things I dislike about this product. I like the convenience of just spraying on a moisturizer and I'm done. Also, the scent is not heavy so it does not interfere with any perfume I have on. I like it because it's light enough to spray on and then put on my clothes. However, this is also the same reason why some people may not like it. It's not very moisturizing if you have dry skin (especially in the winter). My go-to moisturizer is too heavy to wear during the day so I like using this in it's place. But when I need real relief from dry skin I cannot rely on this alone. The other thing I dislike about this product is that at first the spray was even, but now the nozzle is clogging so the spray is uneven and comes out in two heavier streams vs. a nice even spray. I will try to run it under hot water to see if this helps. I can see this as being a nice product during the warmer more humid months here since my skin will not be as dry and the application is quick. I'm also interested in trying the Cocoa Radiant one.
I've tried countless cleansers over the years. My skin is oily/congested/dehydrated. I didn't expect much from this product because it was one of those drugstore whims, but I'm glad I picked this up. For me, it turned out to be a great cleanser at a very affordable price. I only need a very small amount to cleanse my face. I'm left with clear and glowy skin that is not tight at all. I will have to see how my skin likes this is the summer or if I'll have to go back to a foaming cleanser, but for now it's a great find that works well with my skin and doesn't hurt my wallet.
Lip Liners -Make Up For Ever - Lip Line Perfector (colorless)
Juliet7781 2/3/2013 10:58:00 AM
I like using a clear or reverse lip liner. It goes with any lippie and you're not searching for a matching lip liner. Even though I like this and would buy it again, I'll stick to Maybelline's clear lip liner which does the same thing for half the price.
Moisturizers -Formula 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Moisturizer

I am in the minority here but I happen to love this moisturizer. I stumbled on this at the drugstore which is a plus because it's easier to access than mid-high end stuff and cheaper. I have extremely oily skin that is dehydrated. This seems to keep my skin less oily and I've tried just about everything. It's winter here and I know most people are less oily but I never seem to lose my oiliness regardless of the season. I also like that the product comes from the bottom so you get as much of the product out as you can. I'm also acne-prone and this has not broken me out.
Words cannot describe how much I love this mask. Most masks I've tried have only contained clay. However, this mask also contains sulfur which helps heal current blemishes. My skin is radiant, glowing, and clears up much faster when using this product. I like that the product comes in a tube and out of the bottom of the tube. The only thing I can comment on that I don't like (but am willing to deal with) is the smell. The sulfur is obviously not a very pleasant smell and will linger a little even after the mask is removed. But this is definitely a minor issue, as would be with any sulfur mask. Will repurchase.
I've used this for about 4 months now. I don't really see any reduction in shine and still need to blot about the same number of times per day. I will not repurchase when I run out.
Treatments -Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair night moisturizer
Juliet7781 8/20/2012 9:29:00 AM
To be fair, I did not buy this product for wrinkles, nor do I have any to be able to notice any changes. I had been suffering from hormonal breakouts for several months. This had happened before and I switched BCP which cleared it up. I did not want to swich again this time so I decided to change my skincare. I was using certain products that helped but did not really get my skin to where I wanted it to be. I saw this at the drugstore and don't know why I decided to buy it. I never thought OTC retinol products would be strong enough to help with acne but I'm so glad I tried this. I used this for about a week and saw amazing results. My cysts had significantly diminshed and the frequency of new cysts popping up also changed. By the third week my skin was completely transformed. I'm on week four and results are still amazing. I continue to use this in conjunction with mandelic acid, a clay/sulfur mask and some use of BP and BHA (obviously rotating each product).
Treatments -Clinique - Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum
Juliet7781 8/19/2012 10:05:00 AM
I received a sample of this from Sephora. It was part of the 100 point perk so it was a generous enough sample for me to test drive. I used this almost daily and did not really see any benefit. I do have oily/clog prone skin and this did not break me out though. It was not terrible and even left the skin a little smoother but it's nothing I'd run out and buy.
Bronzers -Tarte - Matte Waterproof Mineral Powder Bronzer
Juliet7781 7/31/2012 10:58:00 AM
By far the best bronzer I've used. Got this in Park Avenue Princess. It isn't too orange, doesn't oxidize on my skin, and is matte which is good for my oily skin. Just a light dusting and I get an instant glowing tanned look to my face without looking shimmery or "off".
I first bought this years ago when it was out the first time. I will admit, a part of me is attracted to this scent because it reminds me of memories I had when I was younger wearing this. As for scent-wise, I love this as a fruity summer scent. To me, I get peachy notes without being overly peachy. It reminds me of fruit punch but obviously more sophisticated. I took off a lippie for the only complaint I can find, which is it's lasting power. If you're expecting this to last all day it won't. It's probably best to invest in a purse-size atomizer and fill it with this for touch-ups throughout the day.
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational-Coral Crush
Juliet7781 6/10/2012 9:48:00 AM
I had this on my "shopping list" for awhile, just never got around to actually buying it until recently. This color looks so amazing on me. I'm warm-toned and this lippie is divine. It is also very moisturizing and one of my new favorite summer lipsticks.
Styling Products -L'Oreal - EverStyle Smooth and Shine Creme
Juliet7781 6/5/2012 10:29:00 AM
I'm so impressed with this product. I heard about it, that it was basically the same as Kerastase Nectar Thermique (which is also under L'Oreal). My hair is dry and damaged by heat styling and color treating. All I need is a small amount of this product (I have thick/coarse hair) and apply to towel-dried hair after I've combed through. When I'm done blow drying, my hair is transformed into soft, silky smooth hair. I've noticed a dramatic difference in the shine as well. I've not been kind to my hair with all of the bleaching and heat styling. It's hard to keep blonde hair shiney because of the bleaching, but this has given me that mirror-shine I've been looking for. The product is alcohol-free which is just another bonus for me. I highly recommend giving this product a try.
