I read all the great reviews on this product and decided to give it a go. I really wish this would have worked for me. I have combination skin, leaning on the oily side and it's acne prone as well (not to products, just hormonal). I've never had a product suck all of the moisture out of my skin as much as this has. It's not that it's dry (I was expecting dryness), it's that it goes beyond dry. It's hard to explain what this has done to my skin. It feels almost leathery in the places I've used it. I'd say that in regards to my acne, it had minimal effect on it...just a slight reduction in swelling. What it's left behind is leathery patches, clogged pores (if this is even possible? it seems to have clogged my pores) and a lot of sensitivity and redness. No amount of moisturizer or makeup primer has helped the texture. This seems to be an abnormal reaction, so it's got me thinking that I could be allergic. I see that this has worked for people, and I believe them, but I figured I'd write this as a warning. I wish I would have just put up with this acne, or found a different way to treat it, because I'd much rather deal with that than experience what my skin is going through right now. :-(

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

Heard some good things about this powder so I decided to pick it up on a whim. This really works for me. I can go about 6 to 7 hours without needing a touch up. I like that you can use a pretty generous amount without getting cakey. My skin has the tendency to get oily, and this doesn't look cakey for me when my oil starts to peek through. Of course, we all have different skin types, so I can't recommend this for everyone, and I don't know how it would perform on dry skin, but I imagine with a light hand, it'd do a good job. My only gripe is that this doesn't come in a lot of colors. Luckily, the lightest shade does work for my skin, but there's really not a ton of options for people with darker tones :-(
