Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser Cold Cream

I love this cold cream. It takes off makeup amazingly, it doesn't irritate my skin or eyes, it doesn't make me break out, and it actually improves my skin. The only complaint I have about this is that it has harmful ingredients such as, unknown fragrance, Methlyparaben, and DMDM-Hydantoin. I've never tried the original formula, but wish they would make it again because it had a much smaller, less harmful ingredient list. It could be worse, but still, they shouldn't have those nasty ingredients. I've tried the Jergens all purpose face cream, but it irritated my skin, you need more of it, and the overall performance just couldn't beat Ponds. I'll keep using ponds for now because it's a fabulous product, but if I can find a natural, inexpensive cold cream that works just as well, I'll definitely make the switch.

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Clearly Natural - glycerine Soap
JordanRene 12/15/2012 11:27:00 AM
Okay, so this is the absolute best soap I've ever used. I've been using it for about 1 1/2 years now, and I ALWAYS go back to this. The only soap that can compare to this at all (for me) is African black soap, but I still like this better. I've tried just about everything you can imagine from obscure to big name brands, and this is the best thing for my acne prone skin. The only downside about it, is, because it absorbs so much moisture, it melts quite quickly, but keeping it away from water when it's not being used and leaving it in a container or a ventilated soap dish helps.. Anyway, best soap for sure. Love it.

Cleansers -Noxzema - Original Skin Cream
JordanRene 12/8/2011 11:53:00 AM
I love noxzema. It has really helped my acne and it's gentle on the skin. I do miss the smell of the old formula, but the new one works, so that's the important part. I switch between Noxzema and Lard & Lye soap, but Noxzema always seems to be the best. UPDATE: 12/15/12 Okay, so I've come to realize that this stuff didn't help my acne at all. It actually made it worse, but made it look better by leaving a layer that kind of covered it. I noticed this because I haven't been using it at all this winter, and my skin looks A LOT better... It' okay every once in a while, and maybe for sunburned skin, but I think I'll stick to my natural soap. This stuff just doesn't do it for me as I thought it did.

Powder -Alima - Satin Matte Mineral Foundation
JordanRene 11/1/2011 1:15:00 PM
Okay, so I wrote a ridiculously long review before, probably after too much coffee, so now I'm cutting it down.. a bit.. This is the only foundation I will use as of now. The jar lasted me a little over a year, (I bought my first jar in august or september of last year and bought a new one in November of this year.) It soothes my skin, looks soo natural, and doesn't cause me to breakout at all. It can be tricky to find the right shade, but luckily, they give you the opportunity to buy inexpensive samples. Also, you must use a moisturizer with mineral makeup! Bottom line, a fabulous mineral makeup.
