Conditioner -DevaCurl - B'Leave-In

I mix B'Leave-In 50/50 with DevaCurl's Light Control Gel (aka AnGel) and put this cocktail on my wet hair after cleansing with Low Poo & One Condition. I think the B'Leave-In helps to attract and hold moisture, so this is great for my curls during the colder, dryer months.

I love this stuff! It's my go-to styling product in the summer, and it seems to make a looser curl than I get with gel.

Count me in on the "jewelry for your nails" reviews. I love this as an accent color. I painted it on the tips of my nails over a violet/blue duochrome polish, and it was just beautiful. I can understand why it might look more orange than metallic gold on someone with a warm complexion, but I have a pinkish, cool skintone.

Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Healthy Defense daily moisturizer SPF 50 Sensitive Skin

I love this stuff. Even though I have oily/combination skin, I've finally reached an age when need a daily moisturizer, and with my pale complexion I need sunscreen as well. I hate the smell of chemical sunscreens, and this doesn't have that odor, which makes it pleasant to use every day. As long as I use a small amount, it doesn't make me look ghostly, and it layers well under makeup (when I wear it).

BB Cream -Estee Lauder - Daywear BB Anti-Oxidant Beauty Benefit Creme SPF 35

I thought this was more like primer than BB cream. The color really wasn't there (I used the lighter shade), and it didn't conceal at all. I prefer the BB creams from Smashbox and Clinique to this one.

I like this better as a special effect -- one coat of glitter over two coats of a coordinated color. In my photo, I'm wearing Rainbow Connection over Sephora by OPI's "Who Let the Dorks Out?"

Putting these on took 90 minutes, the same amount of time I'd spend on a regular manicure, but more annoying and less relaxing. The end effect is ok, not great. And the amount of non-recyclable packaging that was left at the end was a travesty. With coupons, I was able to get the price down from $9.99 to $.50, but it wasn't even worth that!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Exact Eyelights

I have mostly-green hazel eyes, so I bought this in Black Gold. I don't see any shimmer at all, and this golden-brownish color is actually lighter than my lashes! It almost makes them disappear. Aside from that, it's a nice-quality mascara; it doesn't smudge or flake, and it washes off easily. But still, I think I'll go back to black next time.
